Getting a little concerned about New Vegas right now, since it's mainly developed by Obsidian, whose highly anticipated Alpha Protocol apparently turns out to be a bust.
While the visuals and gameplay of New Vegas seem very familiar, I just hope that Obsidian is not going to screw up the stories, dialogs, and QA. Hopefully Bethesda will not let that happen either.

It's been reviewed even worse than that: http://www.destructoid.com/review-alpha ... 4617.phtml

They've got a couple of developers of the original Fallout games on board, haven't they? I'd imagine they'll be true to the series.

I guess Obsidian was getting a Mass Effect-ish feel for Alpha Protocol. I was planning to get the game the first time I heard about it.

Before I read the review, I thought Alpha Protocol would at least be a decent game.

Well... on the bright side, it's pretty tough to fuck up the Fall Out series considering how great they are.

And if you enjoyed Fallout 3, I'm guessing you'll enjoy this one as well. It sounds like it's going to be to Fallout 3 what the various GTA 3 spinoffs that used the same engine were to it, which is fine by me.

Agreed Andrew. Fallout 3 engine was so fine that it almost gave me a boner just like when I played half life 2 for the first time.

But it's looking a little outdated to some. I remember how horrible it was when it was used in Oblivion. :(

I don't see how bad it is. It takes a good engine to render all those landscapes. Why fix what isn't broke? Gameplay over eye candy.

Is it me getting old or is Adam Sessler more annoying than ever?

Sessler stinks whenever he has to actually do shit, he's pretty good just ranting. Morgan Webb is horrific. I don't miss G4 since they took it off my cable. COPS and E3 is basically all they show.

I've been watching most E3 crap without sound since it's always shitty. (People yammering, crowd noise or horrible mic's.)

After watching just three presentations (Konami, Ubisoft, EA Sports Show with Peter Moore!) I'm inclined to think that E3 is nothing more than a glorified circus with interesting sideshows (hands on demos).

You watched Konami and Ubisoft's conferences only? You SAW THE BEST. SO GREAT.

Since we watch for the fail. Nintendo had the games, Microsoft had the people reacting to videos.

Saw some of Nintendo's but didn't bother to finish it but yeah, some of the games they presented had me wanting it.

Probably should be in the E3 thread, but Nintendo showed a ton of stuff outside the conference for the 3DS. But I'm still all over ZELDA, KIRBY, METROID, etc. Wii-wise, still looking for ORDER UP! 2 though.

The dancing part was certainly pretty wild. Almost as entertaining as your sigs.
