Close call, but at the end of the day you got the W. Morrow's still doing well off the bench, you'll be pleased to hear that I've updated his ratings in the newly released update. :)

That was a really close one. Azubuike had a pretty good game along with Martin.

Andrew - Niiice! Say... if i load the PC Proj Patch 3.7 does it screw things up in dynasty? I'm thinking no, and that my saved franchise data remains the preserved/older data while ver 3.7 would only apply if i "Load" 3.7 roster + "Start New" dynasty -correct? (btw, i'm not Thierrying here; GSW '11-12 continues here as is lol)

glad to hear Morrow's got a slight ratings tweak, hopefully favorable; but as mentioned i'll not mess w/him in this dynasty; he'll have to improve the hard way and earn his keep through training like everyone else ;) btw, fixed Morrow's CF so that his headband shows up now; to my knowledge it wasn't working before; feel free to nab the CF info off this thread (pg 1)

megarover, Cleveland wins - thx guys and definitely a tight match vs Sac; really thought they'd somehow steal it in the end. Azubuike? I did consider signing Tayshaun Prince during free-agency but elected not to since Kelenna's coming along nicely; he does a little bit of everything for this team and the plan is, Kazu aint going anywhere anytime soon

TEAM PREVIEW

Image

Off-Season Moves

Image

2011 1st-round Draft Pick

Image

Current Record: 1-4

Breakdown

    A young team with a bright future, the Memphis Grizzlies didn't have to do much in the off-season except secure the pieces they already have. They did just that by re-signing Mark Gasol, Mike Conley and Zach Randolph to multi-year contracts.

    Now loaded with strong defenders off the bench, along with a budding shot-blocking presence in Thabeet, an experienced post scorer in Randolph and an athletic 3-man transition attack in Gay, Mayo and Conley, the Grizzlies look poised to improve on their 31-51 record from last season.

    Just don't expect the Grizzlies' 2011 7th-overall pick, DeMarcus Triki, to be much of a factor this season, barring major injuries that might free-up playing time.

No, it won't affect a Dynasty in progress at all so no worries there. :)

Both Brewer and Young are really good here... and there was no way I could score 33 with Randolph. :P

Maverick is like most Live 06 top rookies - a slow white guy.

Randolph has gone block-mad. (Y)

(I have him in a dynasty where I have Bosh and Wade, traded Beasley for him)

Ah, no. I gotta get back to that, hopefully I'll post tomorrow, or later on today. The World Cup 2010 video game has taken some of my time.

Tough loss and tough break with Wafer's injury. Still, injuries keep things interesting. (Y)

Vintage performances by Martin and Biedrins cancelled out by lackluster showings by Curry (dear God) and Randolph. Noah's rotting on your bench. :(

Thierry - "there was no way I could score 33 with Randolph." how come? he's a tank in this dynasty;

Martti - 'Maverick' is playing like Cruise... just after Goose died :lol: he'd better show me something soon or he may be on his way out; not sure what's gotten into Randolph, guess he can feel Noah vying for a starting role;

Megarover - Thabeet? Solid in this dynasty; with his height/weight he's already looking like the next gen big man after Yao & Dwight;

Axe - no prob man; variety is the spice o' life ;)

Andrew - yeah, kinda bummed as i was just getting on the Wafer bandwagon; but now forgotten Roger Mason and *gulp* Richard 'Gollum' Baker will get more burn;

dare - Meal Ticket needs to bulk up more to go up against heavyweight Zach;

Lamrock - hopefully just an off night for Curry, Meal Ticket; Noah? only so much rock to go around

appreciate the comments guys

I mean in 2k10... with Mayo, Gay, Iverson, Thabeet slowly getting more burn, Randolph was going to be traded in anytime. :P

TEAM PREVIEW

Image

Off-Season Moves

Image

2011 Draft Picks

Image

Current Record:
5-1

Breakdown

    The Charlotte Bobcats didn't do much to improve their team during the off-season save for securing big men Tyson Chandler and Derrick Brown to multi-year contracts. Apparently majority owner, Michael Jordan, feels his team is ready for the next level and with the 'Cats early 5-1 record here in 2011, the GOAT may be right.

    Key to Charlotte's success aside from the obvious strong play of their starters, is the solid support of their bench, namely Boris Diaw, Gerald Henderson, Jarrett Jack and last year's 6th overall draft pick, Aaron Mosley who continues to develop steadily. The 'Cats got even deeper with the drafting of Dan Grodin and Roshown Ross in 2011, but provided the team stays healthy, we don't expect either of these rooks to see much playing time.

    The season's still in it's infancy but so far the Bobcats are surprising a lot of teams; who knows how long they can keep it up.
