Another win for the Suns!
They really might win this series and I'll be really happy!

I'll give you Nash's weight in gold if that actually happens...

That is what happens when you play against a team with ridiculously awesome offense and no real defense cough*suns*cough

How could you say that? A team that might dominate the Lakers? Yeah, their a big team.
Thu May 27, 2010 6:27 am
I think what ZanShadow meant z02, was that, compared to the Lakers, the Suns lack players in size. The only big players the Suns have is Robin Lopez, while the Lakers have 2 7-footers, Bynum and Gasol.
Thu May 27, 2010 6:34 am
Oh.
Wasn't thinking about it that way.
Thu May 27, 2010 6:53 am
its not just the 7 foot players, they are tall all over

And the Suns will still lose by twenty, Nash gets suspended for game 6, and the Lakers win the series.
Nah, I want the Suns to win it, knee Jax in the balls!

Don't we all wanna see that?

Was frustrating to watch the fourth quarter. Suns just kept hitting shots and the Lakers were abused for the whole game. Outhustled and outmatched by the Phoenix bench. Damn. Barbosa always gives the Lakers headaches too... well, waiting for Game 5. Hopefully the Lakers come out with stronger defence and work on the glass... outrebounded by Phoenix by 15.

Lakers get abused by any semi-speedy small guard.

Yep. Definitely.
Will be interesting to see what we pull out tomorrow in Game 5.

Fixed.
Because I'm lousy at being short and snarky, or short and fail in the context of these forums, I want to note it is because Jackson hates small guards. Plus he prefers a defensive focused player at the position and running his offense off the wings. Now, he doesn't mind them as reserves to run the offense off the bench, but otherwise he doesn't have use for them. And so he winds up with elders like John Paxson, Michael Jordan, Ron Harper and Derek Fisher most of the time as his starters.

The officiating in this one has been absolutely woeful. No consistency at either end as to what constitutes a foul and Kobe just made a shot with his foot clearly over the three point line that was counted for three, which I hope is reviewed during the timeout. An embarrassing performance by the officials with terrible calls going both ways.
Of course, so long as the bad calls are going both ways, they tend to even themselves out. The bigger issue here is how poorly the Suns are playing after that good start, more careless turnovers, awful shot selection and stagnant offense. Credit the Lakers' defense, but the Suns are looking terrible right now.

That too!

The Suns are looking terrible but I think they'll score more than 100 anyways. Problem is if they can keep the LAL offense to manageable numbers...
Fri May 28, 2010 12:13 pm
If the Lakers have actually found a way to keep Phoenix under 100, then I'm afraid the Suns are screwed.
Fri May 28, 2010 12:14 pm
Decent run by the Suns to close the gap and keep the game within reach, but I fear we're a third quarter collapse away from a very mundane fourth quarter, similar to Game 1.
Fri May 28, 2010 12:16 pm
At least it's close. I'm just glad it's only eight points and not like twenty eight, because that's how much the Suns need to win by.
btw Andrew: Happy 53K!

I thought I saw his foot over the line. But then they didn't review it and the commentators didn't say anything either.

Sloppy officiating.

As I just said in the top 10 disappointments thread, if there's one thing I like about the ESPN/ABC crew it's that they'll call out the referees on bad calls while the TNT crew tends to play it safe. It really looked like it should've been a two.

the nba is getting to a point of unwatchable. maybe if someone shoots stern it will get better again
Fri May 28, 2010 1:15 pm
What exactly did Vujacic do to earn that T?
Fri May 28, 2010 1:17 pm
Somehow, the Suns aren't out of it. They should really be down by 20 or more right now.

i missed that myself

Phoenix did not deserve that score.
