My goodness the Celtics use every player to their advantage and the Cavs.....not close.
Doc Rivers and Tom T. own Mike Brown and his staff.
Lebron oh I hope you stay in Ohio....if not....fun while we had ya.
Fri May 14, 2010 12:45 pm
Still a chance, still just enough time, but right now it looks like the Cavs are done.
Fri May 14, 2010 12:50 pm
The Celtics should use up the clock now.
Fri May 14, 2010 12:55 pm
holy shit, did the cavs really just roll over that last minute?? i'm shocked
anyone else notice that LeBron went around and shook hands and stuff after all that crap about it last year?
Fri May 14, 2010 12:56 pm
I'm glad Cleveland is out, I don't really like them against LA.
Fri May 14, 2010 12:58 pm
This series reminded me of LAL vs BOS series 2 years back. Both superstars Kobe and Lebron being ineffective in their losses, and the Celtics playing a suffocating D.
Lebron's numbers look respectable, but he was a huge reason why they lost. His turnovers were costly and his passes and possessions led to nothing. Now we can say the chance of Lebron leaving the city is greater than ever.

Yeah, there was no effort or sense of urgency at all in the last minute or so. Admittedly it really was a longshot by that point, but they didn't exactly go down swinging. And yes, LeBron certainly seemed to make an effort in congratulating the Celtics after the final buzzer, perhaps mindful of the bad press last year. I guess you could also say he'd accepted defeat by that point with the rest of the Cavs, so he probably wasn't quite as irate as he was after the elimination in the ECF last year.

We know LA going to lose if they face Cleveland

So how many days/weeks of speculation about LeBron's future until it is officially decided?
Fri May 14, 2010 1:12 pm
July 10th I think.
He should go to Dallas though. Haywood-Dirk-LeBron-Butler-Kidd, with Marion, Terry, Barea, Beaubois, etc. off the bench would be a pretty good team.
Fri May 14, 2010 1:15 pm
Cuban will be bankrupt if Lebron goes to Dallas
Fri May 14, 2010 1:17 pm
I doubt it, the merchandise and TV revenues alone would cover the slightly increased cost of salary.

55 days until July 8th, 2010. Negotiations can begin on July 1st but according to
this, the moratorium period runs through July 7th this year.

Add Dirk and KG to that list, too. The regular season MVP hasn't gone on to win the championship since Tim Duncan in 2003.

Since the change to media vote:
11 out of 30 MVPs have won the title in the same year. And six of those are Jordan or Bird.
17 out of 30 have made the Finals. Ten of those are Jordan, Bird or Magic.

You obviously don't understand that Celtic Pride is a documentary....not a movie.

I can't imagine Magic, Larry or Michael going out so soft. Where's the emotion?

Ah...that would explain why Sauru doesn't consider it one of his favourite
movies. It all makes sense now.

No question.

Something was up with LeBron in this series. Maybe it was his injury, I don't know. Even the great ones stumble at times in the playoffs, but LeBron didn't go down swinging.
