that's not saying much there. compare Pargo to Harris and maybe Pargo comes out as the more traditional PG lol
anywho- Hinrich is the classic combo guard. he has good ball handling skills but isn't a pure PG. he can't create shots for himself and is average at best shooter so he's not a SG. he has decent athleticism & length to guard SG's but big guards give him problems. And while he is a willing defender, quick PG's like Tony Parker give him fits. to add to this, he's probably the worst clutch player in the NBA. seldom do i see him score late in the 4th qtr if the game is close. sure he'll make the 3pter when you're down by 10 but almost never have i seen him come through in the clutch. even with free throws.
i don't know. maybe Hinrich is a better player if he goes to a team like LA and doesn't have to live up to his contract. he's been playing better since Rose has basically taken over the team

It doesn't sound like a bad deal. I don't know what the Lakers think of Farmar though so that would probably be in play.
