Is there a program that can convert all the popular video formats (wmv, avi, mpeg etc etc) to vp6???
I searched all the NBA Live series tools & editors here but found nothing!!!

you need the vp6 encoder to create the vp6 files

http://www.badongo.com/file/5181515

there should be a tutorial around here somewhere

there is no way to go from vp6 > avi/wmv or whatever, you can just use fraps or something for that

Make a vp6 file, which you would then use to replace the default intro files I'd assume. :)

I 'd be more interested in converting than creating though
I remember from 06, a guy called mj_realm along with pdub used to convert various videos to .vp6 formats (even porn!!!)

Excellent. I'll bookmark that one myself, I'm sure it's something someone will ask about again at some point in the future.

yep, we might actually want to download it and mirror that somewhere on here since we seem to be the most consistent fan site in existence.

George7, another important tip is, before you browse for the avi file to convert into vp6 using EA vp6 encoder, you should make sure that the file name has no space in it. For example, instead of "nba intro.avi" it should be "nbaintro.avi". I hope that helps. :D

Please don't double post. Edit your previous post if you have something to add.

We can't really answer a question like that, because we can't see your computer; we only have your word that you did everything absolutely right. To be absolutely sure of that, you'll need to describe exactly what you did at every step, so perhaps someone can pinpoint where the problem lies. Right now, there's not enough information for anyone to tell you what the problem is.
