before i go out and buy this game in antication for the ncaa mod, is this ncaa mod going to be for 2k9 or 2k10? i kinda see posts regarding both of these. also, as i've never played the 2k basketball series before - only nba live, how does this game compare with nba live?

yukon2k, its going to be 2k10. if you want to try it, there is a 2k9 demo available on steam. 2k10 is much improved over 2k9 and NBA Live PC games

jao and all of the other modders -- i'm really glad you guys are working on a ncaa patch for 2k10. i've been following this thread, but i'd like to know if progress reports and downloads for ncaa are going to stay on this thread or if a new section or website is going to be created for this ncaa patch

ok, we need to get a good list of teams to be included in this mod since there is obviously support and interest in this.

Basically we can choose 6 conferences and take 5 teams from each to fill the 6 divisions of the NBA, or we can take the top 25 teams in the coaches/espn/usa today polls and use them plus 5 notables. I want to get these teams decided upon before then end of the weekend.




Due to limitations with the rosters, we will need to rely on a quick and painless batch file to rename floors from NBA to NCAA files. Something similar was released with NCAA Live 2003 if any of you remember that mod. It would just be a simple thing to double click to switch the files.

Who will do all CFs? It wouldnt be realistic but what about all time teams? You wouldnt need Cfs. Then also teams like straight HS->Pro or Oak HIll Academy players

CFs are optional, we dont need them for every player

All-Time teams would be very easy to do, but we should focus on that after getting a good v1 done.

And we can always add more teams like that too, especially if we get a good system down for the NCAA teams.
