NBA 2K10 PC BUGS AND GLITCHES THREAD

Rim, it looks like your computer can't display the jerseys properly. Lower the player detail and see what happens. It's not a fix, but it could be a workaround for now, unless you installed a jersey patch from NBA 2K9. You should bring it to the developers attention at the official 2Ksports.com forums.

What button do you press when you want to Sim Till Subbed In on My Player mode? It says to press the 'd' button and that on the keyboard that is 5 on the numpad, i pressed it many times but i dosnt work. Can someone help?!????!?!??!

Try pressing whichever key you have mapped to the "jump" action.

hey guys i have a problem on "my player"..i just finished my first season,my team is cavs and won the finals and when i entered my 2nd season, i cant continue..when i click play game, the game closes..and also i checked my schedule,it was all empty..

any ideas with this problem guys??..

Having random crashes when I enter the games. No problems in my player during summer league, but when it comes to the NBA Arenas sometimes the game crashes. Couldnt play online as well because the game will crash more often than not once I start the game.

Any solutions?

p.s. I have the latest graphic drivers, and am running Windows 7 32-bit

I read that a pc-patch comes out. a rumor or is
that true? has someone information for me ?

Same here. I can't even finish a full game of any kind. I have Vista 64 Home Premium and the latest graphic drivers. I just found out that NVidia's latest Beta Drivers are out. I'm going to download these when I get home and see if it helps. If not, I may try rolling back to an older driver.

well every time i start a game, i get to the tip off and the only one at the halfcourt line is the ref. there are no players. i reinstalled the game, i cahnged some settings but the glitch is still there. any help?

got it: delete the config.cfg. you´ll have to redo your settings but better than reinstall. worked for me.

1. Why do you think the bug appeared in the 1st place? Was it because of using the practice mode again (like what caused the no-inbound bug in 2K9) ? So that I won't repeat the same mistake twice.

2. After deleting the config.cfg file, does it recreate itself when you save new settings ?

Yes, there will be a patch including most if not all or more of the console related fixes.

Do you also have such a bug: referee has a ball and he is beetled, so I can't continue game because camera didn't changing...

I updated Vista and it seemed to help. It updated some "Vista Platform Libraries" and last night, I got a 5 minute quarter game in and a full 12 minute quarter game in. Almost finished another 12 minute game, but it crashed.

i've found a skin bug with greene ( cavaliers ) they made a little mistake with his skin colour

Carlos Arroyo (added to the Heat) got hit with this bug too in the 2K roster update they've released for the console versions (at least I think it's been released for consoles only so far). Danny Green does have this bug in the PC version too (which is what I have) and so far the 2K roster update didn't fix it on the consoles. Probably won't on the PC.

As far as random crashes before games goes, I had that happen too. I think a temporary fix is to load up the starting lineup editing screen before the game begins and just hit the start button to start the game. Haven't crashed since.

Not a huge bug but it annoys me since I took some time to update almost all the shoes. I just tried a game with Saco, and all of the players' shoes were messed up. They were not even the "away" shoes instead of the "home" ones, they just had completely different colors, so I'm not sure where that came from...Haven't seen mentioned that yet.

Im working on sliders, and i get everything ok now, but one thing i cant fix. I mean this stupid double team. Anyone find out is it fixable by sliders?

Nope they are going to address it with the patch but who knows when that will be its weeks overdue, and so on my second guy im hoping it wont be the same bug as my first cause then only thing i can do is my association until the patch....which is ridiculous, this game should have been tested.

I've occured a quite annoying bug to say the least. In my current Association game the inbound plays after a made shot has seemed to disappear, which means it instead becomes a rebound. The entire gameplay is thus totally destroyed, as the AI obviously not understands this, meaning I'd be getting possesion after possesion, if I make a shot.

Has anyone tried this? Or does someone have a solution? I've checked in my "My Player" game and the gameplay was fine, so it seems like it's only a bug in that specific association. I'd naturally prefer not to delete it, as I've played some 20 games so far.

The fix was to delete your settings until the patch came out. So, delete your settings file for now. Since this is happening in your Association, I am not sure if the settings fix will work for that particular save since settings may be saved in the Association. Load your Association, then exit it and check to see if it happens in a quick game.

I wish I was. The bug only occurs in the association, not in quick game, new associations, my player, nothing. It's only the particular association. Tried to delete the settings but no luck.. Guess that's the end of that game..
