Talk about NBA 2K10 here.

hey gast! man, I would say that closing down the ball handler is a very good thing, 'cause the guy won't just throw alleys if there's someone with a big hand in his face and forcing him to dribble all over the court, and it's unlikelly that on a 5 on 5 matchup you have so much alleys...
I'll have to play in hall of fame to discuss about it, wait for my reply so we can find a way to understand the game!!

You guys haven't mentioned anything about the stats engine (NBA Live 08's engine was totally out of whack). Is it any good? Can you sim games and have accurate stats?

Hello everybody!
I just downloaded nba 2k10 and installed it (the cracked it), but when i go to instmsiw.exe it says that my operation system or the version of the operation system is not correct. But I have XP Blade edition, so I don't know what to do...
Anyone can give me a help, please?

Man, this game is all about defense... And active defense! You gotta move, close down the guard, they are NBA players, if you don't put some pression to the guy he will scores, you know it, NBA players can flash it down either with a hand in his face or not, so move your players, make the oponnent make mistakes, call double teams, that's what the game is all about, because if you make the other team miss the plays, you won't have to be perfect at the offensive end of the court.

wicked waway,
i was able to finish my download at gamersgate. i am also in singapore using M1 mobile broadband. it took me around 30 hours with a 2mbps connection.
the problem i encountered was upon intsalling it and running the game, a problem occurred, saying something like wrong disk inserted! wth! it was a digital game, where to get the disk!
just searched through 2ksports forum and found one thread regarding the gamergate digital copy no dvd fix? now i am using that one since gamergate did not give any feedback onto how to correct that.
don't know if i reinstall 2k10 from gamergate once my windows 7 OS arrives hopefully 1 week from release date ( Oct 22) which i also pre ordered, the looking for disk error has been fixed.
is there any way i can back up the game just to make sure once my win7 OS comes, because i need to do a fresh install.
i might not buy from them again and opt to buy on steam next time.
BTT: I am simpy enjoying the game right now, but don't have enough time coz too much load at work, too tired to play after reaching home.
Only concern i see is based from previous threads 2k said it learned from 2k9 so we will expect a smoother game, but otherwise. i am using the same machine and it is a bit juddering.
also the camera is too far compared to 2k9, which i liked better.
edit:
what's the point of them giving a serial key, it never asked for it during installation.

yeah STEAM FTW esp if you have good download speeds lol..im on starhub 8mbps and download speeds are really good..
same comments with regards to the camera, the closest zoom is still far compared to 2k9..i like the closer zooms as you get more immersed with the action, i hope 2k addresses this issue on a patch

when you installed your game from steam, did it require you to enter the serial key? its a bit funny why gamersgate provided the serial key but was not put into use when i installed. right after downloading the game it went straight away to installing, waited for it to prompt the serial key entry but did not. i might try to re download or install it again, just found on the 2k10 folder, an install.exe as well as uninstall.

steam didnt ask for any serial

..
and the jokers from gamersgate support hasnt replied to me, i might just give this game to my lanparty mates back home..
hey does anyone know how to edit the camera views? like add a zoom 20 or something lol

i got a problem, my commentators don't talk. i got my 2k10 from steam. I set the commentator sound level to 100 but nothing? can anyone help?
Other than that, game is pretty good

Just purchased the game via Steam, downloaded and installed it. Took a moment to figure out the controls and menu navigation (its still not much better than 2k9) but then I jumped right in and randomly created a "My player".
This is way awesome. Having your own player and trying to make it in the NBA? Great feature ...
Other than that I can't say much about the game yet, as I only have tried this out for an hour or so ... but I am excited and can't wait to properly play the "My Player" feature.

i dont know if that was in nba 2k9, but it made me go "wow"

It's your videocard. The SE stands for "shitty edition." All your other hardware is good. So, upgrade that card.

I just figured something was wrong with my files or I had something on medium or something....nope. Celtics didnt play the Nets in Izod last night, they were on a college court.
OMG... gotta get the game NOW... tomorrow, tomorrow I will get it... just a couple of hours... will play for 12 straight hours

can anyone give me some guidance please?
i bought 2k10 off steam, installed and played. I started the quick game mode, and there were commentators saying stuff. RIGHT AFTER it says the KEYS TO THE GAME, the commentator stops. I checked the audio %, commentators are at 100%
Anyone got this issue?
Thanks!

i precise once again that my graphic card is superior as the one required, and that the game is UNPLAYABLE unless i put EVERYTHING (game & screen) at minimum. then the game is playable and not TOO slow but ugly as hell. please help.
