Getting the game early (again)

Wed Sep 23, 2009 7:55 am

Ok so I got off the phone with my 'supplier' and he said he should be getting the game early again, thing is if he can't get the special edition early I am just going to wait and get it from gamestop. I will be getting the game between September 29th and October 3rd the latest. I did this last year and proved I had the game, so I will do the same just so people will not call me a liar. I DO NOT have the game now, but I will let you guys know when I do. Point of this thread is to start asking questions now in an organized fashion. 1 Thing, I will not post any video's of gameplay, simply cause everyone is gonna ask for videos of there favorite team and it's too much of a hassle to upload them all. I will upload videos on my own if I want.

I'd like to know if players put on their warmups on the bench or if they magically appear.....and that is pretty much it

There's apparently 30 billion new animations in the game, do you really notice them or does it just feel a lot like 2K9?

I think the post-up system has changed, does it suck?

What have they done to isomotion?

I know you haven't got it yet, just wording it for when you do

I want to know if all the new jerseys are there:

Philadelphia 76ers - I've seen in pics already

Charlotte Bobcats - I just found out today they got new jerseys, I don't know if 2K already pressed up copies of the game with the old jerseys and they will just make the new ones downloadable or if 2K is given this information months ahead of time to include them in the game.

Dallas Mavericks new alternate road jerseys - I like them better than the green ones and will be using them a lot, hopefully they made it in the game.

Anyone know what I need to record directly from my ps3/tv? Obviously not through a camcorder, but straight from the tv?

Play against the CPU team and see if the CPU utilize their superstars, so that if you are playing against Cleveland, Lakers, Miami etc, the offense is centered around Lebron, Kobe, D-Wades, and that they put up the majority of the points for his team.

Once you get the game, can you confirm that the crappy goaltending calls (when the ball is clearly off the cylinder) are gone? Probably the most annoying issue of last couple of NBA 2k games.

Sadly, the answer is no. This has been confirmed by a number of people who were lucky enough to get the game early.

I got the game yesterday. I only played a couple games, two against a friend and one against the cpu. Against the cpu (Lakers) I got tore up by Derek Fisher in the first half to the tune of 18 points. The second half I adjusted and got used to playing better defense and they started getting Kobe the ball almost exclusively.

Cool, thanks for the update bro. Can you tell us how many points Kobe had or how many shots did he take compared to his teammates? And also was there alot more mid-range shots taken by the CPU this year?
