Felton was a key for the Bobcats, but will now start over in Detroit.

Felton winds up in Detroit.

The Detroit Pistons announced today that they have signed star player Raymond Felton. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Felton was a restricted free agent and was sign-and-traded to the Pistons for cash considerations. The Pistons now have Felton, Stuckey and Will Bynum at the point.

Felton was selected 5th overall in the 2005 NBA Draft by the Charlotte Bobcats. Felton wears jersey No. 20 as a professional, just as he did in high school for the Latta Vikings. In his rookie season in the NBA he averaged 11.9 PPG, 3.3 RPG, 5.6 APG.

During the 2007-08 season he has emerged as a true NBA talent, averaging 16 ppg and 8 apg.

Felton played a full 82-game season and averaged 14.2 points and 6.7 assists for the Bobcats in 2008/09.

---------------------------------

Image
Robinson was a key contributor off the bench for the Knicks, but the Knicks let him go as they did David Lee.

Knicks lose Robinson as well, heads to LA.

Just a few hours later, the Los Angeles Clippers have announced that they have signed guard Nate Robinson. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Robinson, just like David Lee, was a restricted free agent and got a great deal from the Clippers, which he and his agent thought was best.

The Knicks are giving up more and more players, but it does mean they have the CAP space to sign 2 max-contracts after this season. Perhaps even Lebron James.

Robinson was the 21st selection of the 2005 NBA Draft, chosen by the Phoenix Suns before being traded to the New York Knicks with Quentin Richardson for Kurt Thomas and the draft rights to second-round pick (54th overall) Dijon Thompson.

Robinson averaged 17.2 points and 4.1 assists per game during the 2008/09 season, ranking him 2nd in the team in both categories. He appeared in 74 games (11 starts) and averaged 29.9 minutes.

Robinson finished third in the 6th man of the Year award voting behind Jason Terry and JR Smith. His 17.2 PPG average was 50th in the league and 2nd among reserves.

Chandler and Alexander faced their previous teams, both from the starting line-up.

Bucks beat the Knicks in the Garden.

The Milwaukee Bucks acquired Wilson Chandler just a couple of days ago, but luck would have it that the Bucks would meet the Knicks in the season-opener.

Chandler scored just 6 points on 2-12 shooting against his former team but the Bucks, led by Michael Redd, pulled out the win.

Redd finished with 28 points on very good 9-15 shooting. Andrew Bogut had 16 points and 9 rebounds. Rookie Brandon Jennings attempted just 7 shots, but was a terror for the Knicks, as he got to the line 10 times and finished with 14 points. Hakim Warrick had 20 and Kurt Thomas scored 16 off the bench.

It was a battle of two equal teams. Many experts pick the Bucks and the Knicks battle who could finish higher in the East, neither team is expected to make the Playoffs.

Michael Redd scored 9 points in the 2nd quarter and the Bucks got a little breathing-space at halftime, as they had a slim, 4-point lead.

Both teams played with a lot of heart in the second half with no team leading by more then 6 points at any given moment, apart from the final score.

The Bucks had a 7-point lead as the final period began, but the Knicks, led by Al Harrington and reserve Darko Milicic dominated down-low and eventually tied the game.

Michael Redd, Brandon Jennings and Hakim Warrick led the Bucks down the stretch, as the three combined for 22 of the Bucks' 28 fourth-quarter points.

Despite an 8-point final difference, Larry Hughes had an attempt to narrow the Knicks deficit to one with 32 seconds to go. He missed and then came the free throws, which were made by Redd and Jennings (16-19 FT for the game combined).

Already a bad situation, a 6 point deficit and nearly not enough time left, the Knicks inbound pass went straight to Jennings, who dunked the ball in the fast break with authority.

Redd sank a couple more from the line and the Bucks had won their season-opener.

    Final Score :

MIL | 24 | 31 | 27 | 28 | 110
NYK | 24 | 27 | 24 | 27 | 102

oh god, a softy like Al Harrington and an uncoordinated player with no post game managed to get the best of you down low.

It sucks to see Chandler underperform, especially under those types of circumstances (season opener, former team). Knowing you he's going to bounce back in a big way hopefully. I mean you made James White look like Jesus on rollerskates so I'm sure you can make Chandler return to form in the next few games.

Bogut and Bosh were the stars of the night, but in the end, the Aussie's team won.

Bogut outstanding against the Raps, Bucks now 2-0.

Andrew Bogut proved everyone that he has healed from the injury which sidelined him for 46 games last season by scoring a career-high 30 points to go along with 9 rebounds as he led the Bucks over the Raptors.

The big Aussie made 2 threes, which is also a career-high. Bogut added 6 assists, which was a team-best. Michael Redd has been on target in the first two games as he has shot 5-8 from range. He finished with 27.

Brandon Jennings scored 14 points in his career-debut and followed it up by scoring 22. He found it very easy to get near the basket and finish. He did get his shot blocked a few times, but that didn't slow him down.

Once again, both teams were equal from start to finish. Also, both teams displayed very weak defense, as the two combined for 231 points with no OT-s.

Bogut and Bosh were going at it throughout the game. When Bogut scored on a hook shot over Bosh, Bosh would come right back and score a jump-shot or beat Bogut off the dribble and finishing with a dunk. He had 6 dunks in the game. Bogut would look for contact and a foul call. However, Bosh would prefer to play outside the restricted area.

As the bigs were battling, Raptors new addition Hedo Turkoglu also racked up the points. He scored 17 points in the first half. Bosh scored just as much in the second half.

As the final quarter started, the score was tied. Bogut was awfully quiet and attempted only 3 shots, making 1. However, Jennings and Redd took over the offense. Jennings proved all the doubters, that he has the abilities to make it in the NBA.

Neither team got a comfortable advantage and so, with the final minute just around the corner, the score was still tied. Both teams failed to score for 45 seconds, until Scott Skiles called a time-out.

Jennings dribbled the ball and started to penetrate to the rim, but fellow rookie DeMar DeRozan quickly came to help. This left Michael Redd wide open and Jennings passed him the ball. Redd fired up the shot and the ball bounced three times on the rim, before falling.

Redd's heroics weren't over as after a Toronto time-out, Turkoglu looked to inbound the ball. He found the rookie, DeRozan, who looked to pass to Calderon. His pass was too obvious and Michael Redd saw it through. He tipped the ball and caught it with 3 seconds to go. He was fouled and he went to the line to put the game away.

The Air Canada Center was stunned and silent as Redd stole the ball but screamed as Redd stepped to the line. Redd is known for his clutch shooting and he didn't disappoint the Bucks, sinking both calmly.

The Raptors had no time-outs and Jarrett Jack fired a shot near mid-court which was off. The Bucks had won.

    Final Score :

MIL | 29 | 31 | 28 | 30 | 118
TOR | 26 | 35 | 27 | 25 | 113

    Key Player Stats :

Brandon Jennings : 22 points, 5 assists, 10-17 FT

Redd could have led the Bucks to a win, but shot 0-4 in the final 2 minutes of the game.

Oden, Blazers hand Bucks first defeat.

The Bucks got as near as 2 points late in the game, but couldn't make shots late and had to walk off the court defeated.

Greg Oden was a beast as he scored 35 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. He added 3 blocks on superb 15-21 shooting. Brandon Roy added 28 points.

Bucks rookie Brandon Jennings recorded his first double-double of his young career with 17 points and 14 assists. Michael Redd scored 30 points on 12-24 shooting. Andrew Bogut was still hot as he followed up his 30 point/8 rebound/6 assist/3 steal/2 block performance against the Raptors with a very similar stat-line. Bogut's stat-line read 25 points/8 rebounds/5 assists/3 steals/2 blocks.

The Aussie has become brave to shoot as he attempted 4 threes which is twise as much as his career-high. He did hit one during the first quarter.

Through three quarters the score was 95-88, in favor of the Blazers, and it looked as though both will hit about 120-130 points. Both teams shook thing up and fastened up defensively.

The Bucks were down by 2 with just under 2 minutes left. Greg Oden scored on 3 straight possessions and not with a lay-up or hooks. He posterized Warrick and Bogut three times to score 6 straight points and slowly increase the Blazers advantage.

Michael Redd had 4 attempts to narrow the gap, but didn't make single shot and so the Bucks started to foul. The Blazers made their shot and the Bucks didn't. The Bucks had to face defeat.

The Bucks still continue their stellar play offensively, as they racked up 110 points but they also continued their poor play on the defensive end, allowing 116. After three games, they have scored 112.7 PPG (1st in the league) and have given up 110.3 PPG (1st in the league).

    Final Score :
