Age of players

Hi,
I play Dynasty on NBA06 after installing NBA Live Project patch. Everything is great (really good job) but players are 3 years younger than they are in fact in these days. So you can have 16-17 years old players in the team. Is there any solution to make them all 3 years older? I dont want to rewrite dates of birth in database, it would take a lot of time.

Unfortunately that is the only solution but I'm planning on releasing a batch file that will do that for all players automatically. That way you won't have to start your Dynasty all over again if you've already started one with v1.0 which doesn't have the adjusted birth dates. I can't give you a release date on that at the moment as I'm currently working on a converted roster for NBA Live 2005 but that should be finished soon at which point I'll be able to work on things for the next version of NBA Live PC as well as the updates for 07 and 08.

I'm not sure, because I'm just startet a test, but if you have an old dynasty saved day 1 in the 09-10 season, it could be possible to play with the new roster in the right season.

What to do?

Step 1: You need an old dynasty with no games played in season 09-10. Which Roster you used in this dynasty isn't important. Make a copy from the dynasty folder

Step 2: You start a new dynasty with the new roster, but the same team. Save it just on day 1.
Copy the appearance, coaches, staff and players folder from this new dynasyty folder into the copy.

Step 3: Start the copy

If everything works:
All players have the right age, because its 2009.

If not, well it was just a copy, wasn't it?

Maybe this could be a way to make a great patch like 0,0001% better

This would be to easy, I think.

But unfortunately it doesn't work = allwasys a crash on the 30th November

Without editing the "franchise" DAT it's look lika a mission impossible. And without the franchise DAT nothing is working.

If anybody think he is capable of editing this ...

fixing the age, yrs. pro and starting in the '09-10 season are all possible in Live '06... a little complicated but possible. check out "Submissions" under "Tutorials"

every other method (copying player.dbf files, season.files etc) will not work without crashing at some point in the season due to data inconsistencies
