Trading

Hey,
ive been trying to trade for danny granger as the cavaliers and i just cant get him without losing players that i dont wanna lose.
im just wandering is there any way to change players' clubs without starting a new dynasty?\
through dbf editing or anything?

Not really; not without badly glitching the Dynasty at any rate.

You can make trades through DBF editing though (check the Tutorials section of the Wiki). Just be sure you make a backup first in case anything goes wrong.

I will say that it kind of defeats the purpose of Dynasty Mode and takes the challenge out of things so I wouldn't recommend it myself, but that's a decision we all have to make for ourselves and the information is there if you want it.

When I tried dbf-trades, the players I traded away were still on my team I wouldn't recommend dbf-editing. Perhaps try 3 70-75 overall players for Granger + 1 or 2 ~60 overall players, depending on the Pacers roster space.

It should work, it definitely is possible. But for the sake of a challenge, I too would go with the legit method.
