These rosters are a dog to install !!

I've yet to get these thing installed right. I'm running XP Pro. followed the instructions, still won't load Mydoc/preferreduser/nbalive2004/saves. Go to load the game, nothing. Just a bunch of funny looking numbers and dates in the 000,001 roster slots that cant be deleted. Someone help me please. It's driving me batty !!!

Did you have any files previously saved in slots 000 and 001? If so, did you rename those folders?

If you did, then the game is recognising two slots as being save slot 000 and two slots as being save slot 001. Due to data in save.dat, renaming save folders is no longer an effective way of backing up old saves.

i cannot get them installed either

i am installing them to my save folder, and the only one i have in there is 003


what can i do?

Are you sure you're installing the files to the correct folder?

Which version of Windows are you running, and where are you attempting to install the rosters?

i have xp, and install them to my docuements/nba live 2004/saves folder

the only save slot i used is 003

got it, just like you said, found another folder, i hate that ea does that now, and installed it there

and got to practice with my boy m price!!!!! (but a 69 ovr, and 82 spd/qui??)


one problem, there are many fa in the legend roster pool that are in there twice...

That shouldn't be the case. Some of the new Legends should be on a Decade All-Star team, and in the Legends Pool.

That shouldn't affect the data in the DBF files.
