Cheapest video card to play live 07 at max setting?

Postby damiencoold on Mon May 11, 2009 7:27 pm

Im trying to find but still havent come up with sth. I dont have a wide screen monitor, plus my monitor max resolution is 1280X1024, so the card can handle live 07 with my max resolution and the rest, like antialiasing... will be awesome. Thank you in advance :)

I've got a GeForce 6600 (256 MB) card, that does the trick for me. It's a few years old now so it might be difficult to get, but at the same time if you can find it anywhere it'll probably be fairly cheap being superceded technology.

damiencoold, do you currently have an AGP or a PCI-X card in your computer?

I am currently using a GEforce 2 5500 256MB, It works well for NBA Live 07. My PCs a few years old now. I haven't tried it with later NBA lives.
I think on board cards will demand more from your RAM, if you have low RAM, then performance will be less efficient. :D

Don't you mean a Geforce FX? The Geforce 2 couldn't run Live 07, anyways. Minimum requirement is a Geforce 4.

Onboard video graphics chips are not meant for gaming. I guess a Geforce 8500 is pretty cheap ($30-40?)and should run Live 07 at max.
