NBALIVE09 TUP HQ: Updated All Parts to sendspace!!!!!

great mod! well..but i have a question...

mm..do this mod includes a simengine fix??? coz i think when i downloaded the mod...it contains only the roster and the sgsm folder..and there is no tuning folder..mm??? do i need to download the simengine separately from another patch or its already included??? mm...well..im just curious..

well by the way...thank you guys for all the hardwork and perseverance doing this mod! hands down!! yeah!

i am very sick with my nba live 08 the last time because of that sick gameplay and the SICK SIMENGINE! mm..

i played already an exhibition match..and its great so far!!! but...i didnt try yet the dynasty mode...mm???
na fix na ba ang simengine? does it already included in this mod?? well./

oh!! i copied all the stuffs in part 3 to part 5 in my live 08 folder!!! but!! my game crashes down after the 2nd screen which shows the logo of the nba teams..and now i cant play the game..huhuhuhu.. wala lng.

Modifly, we have put many CF"s and your EA(i'm not so sure about the 2nd)
@ all. I'm going to rest some days and then the team will be back for updates(OK Vhan?)

Ok, let me say this: the MOD is awesome! The art done is a thing of beauty, and it changed the game to a unique form.

But, I found some bugs. I'll start with the most annoying/important bugs:

- I cannot change the away shoe. When I try, the away shoe is the home shoe, and it can't be changed.
- The NBA/TNT transition logo that appear throughout the game is too long. Should disappear faster.
- There's a Yao Mings loading screen from Live 08
- Players have NBA socks, instead of having white socks (home) and black socks (away)
- The game crashed when I played 1x1 with Barkley (90's team) versus Jordan (Dream Team)

Minor bugs:

- When selecting the team to play, on the "Play Now" mode, I think it needs a fix, because some names are Charlotte, Cleveland, Utah, New Jersey or whatever city, and others are Celtics, Bulls, Timberwolves, Bucks and so on. I think it should be either the name of the city where the team is, or the name of the team itself.
- Practice court is not as it should be. At least I think:

Plus, some players have gears that should be edited, like Paul Pierce's calves protections or Lebron's arm sleeve, or D-Wade head and neck don't match the color of the body very well. In fact, players have many gears that are no longer worn. The file, like papierce_leg_tat, should not have the sleeves, or bands or whatever, but we should be able to choose what to put on the players. I think the file (papierce_arm_tat and leg_tat, and to all players) should be clean, with no gears or just some. I almost forgot... Billups can dunk on the game

And what about the sound of the ball hitting the rim, and when the player dunk? It makes a weird loud sound.


As I mentioned a few posts before, I don't wanna be the guy that comes here and start complaining about all the things. Like you guys said, you don't work on EA GAMES (well, maybe they should interview you for a job ).
But I come here to try to make the game better, and to make this patch/MOD better.

It'll never be 100% perfect because nothing is, but I think we should all try to make it as close to real life and as accurate as possible.

If I offended someone, or some patcher, please forgive me. I did not intend to. I'm only here trying to help.

My Problem says :
: .../NBA_Live_09_TUP.part4.rar : You need to start extraction from a previous volume to unpack Part 2 (other folders).rar
and : .../NBA_Live_09_TUP.part4.rar : No files to extract .
What does this mean ? WTF ! Please help me . . .

You have to open only the 1st part after you have downoaded all of them!

i think it should be noted with the download links that:

sgsm & roster is in parts 1-3 and main part other folders and instructions are in parts 3-5

open and extract from part 1 to get sgsm & roster
open and extract from part 3 to get other folders
open and extract from part 3 read me file

also when extracting make sure everything is in the same folder and files names should have "_" (underscores) NOT " " (spaces). change if necessary so that during extracting all parts can be located correctly

Can you teach me step by step ?
1. Open Part 1 Right ?
2. Winrar will search for Part 2 . Search it . Then Winrar will process it .
3. Winrar will search for Part 3 . Again . Search it . Then Winrar will process it .
4. Operation Stops here . Winrar shows me two folders the SGSM folder and the NBALIVE09 folder . Well as I've said Operation stops here .
Question : How to open part 4 - part 5 ?

For those who are having problems with dynasty, did you reinstall nba and deleted saves and everything NBA Live related as well?
Problem could be there cuz you're using custom schedule that was there before installing TUP. Maybe that helps.. I didn't have problems like that.
One thing that was a bit annoying though, is bright yellow Monta Ellis and crashes with Orlando and Memphis alternate jerseys..

I downloaded and I really liked it. Its the greatest pach ever for nba live 08. Also I found no problem. Thanks for the pachmakers...

MikeSmooove19!, try to rename all of it as "NBA_Live_09_TUP.partx" so that they don't need to ask you where's the other rar archives.

oh man ，i just cant wait to play NBA LIVE 09 on PC ，though it is fake... i am really excited about it

are the contents of part 2's "other folders" are the same with part 3-5's? i mean, the part 2 contains the folder "other folder" and so is part 3-5. are they the same? and why is when i am playing east vs west, use the new usa jersey the game crashes? tnx..

and other thing, why is the sock for away teams isnt black? is it just on my game or the makers of the mod really made it that way?

Anyone who needs help w/ extracting:
Once you have downloaded all the files, put them in a folder.
Rename the files so they have the same name. e.g. "TUP09.part1.rar", "TUP09.part2.rar" etc.
After that, right-click on PART1 and press extract here and wait.
After extraction there should be two .rar files, "sgsm and Roster" and "others".
Right-click on one of them and press extract. Do the same for the other one.
After that you should have two folders, which are the files you need to install.

that is the latest team.dbf from the beta phase....it has corrected speechid for teams (sort of, at least they dont all say atlanta hawks)
just override in the NBALIVE09 folder
