Maybe it will be necessary to add the players once again to the dbf, making 2 or 3 lines for players who are in more than one team, just guessing, I'll try to have some work on it tomorrow

i'm currently fixing the roster that vhan posted on the last page...not sure of the exact cause but im 99% sure i can fix it...give me maybe 30 mins...cancel that maybe an hour......

sorry i didn pop into this thread sooner or i might have been able to help.. ....my own roster is andrews 2.5? i think..anyways i keep it up-to-date almost whenever any official transactions are made. so im just doing a compare between mine and the nbalive09 save.

my only question is that...does anyone update the salaries? cuz im noticing some players salaries are designated to a team thats not thiers (ex. bibby's salary (or CASHTEAM) is the kings)....anyways if people plan on using this for dynasty mode i think that should b looked at. (at least if the $$$ and years are correct...this info can be found on hoopshype.com)

recap:
in about an hour expect me to fix:
missing players (both in player.dbf and appearance.dbf)
roster order (execpt for add-on teams)
players cash team
and any other roster-related minor bug

vhan or someone can give me the list for the players who are in the add on teams like nike and the others?
I think that all the missing players play in this add on teams so I think I just made a mistake when I edited the players for this add on teams so that they just appear in the add on teams and not in their nba teams...I wanna check if it is like that because this players which where missing are also in various add on teams...so I can fix that problem
now about the name of the teams as I read in a couple of posts...it can be also fixed

the roster is up-to-date as of today (right now!) based on offical nba rosters.
roster order is based on a combination of: espn depth chart, cbssportsline depth chart, personal knowledge, and disregard of injuries

Question about #2 M.Williams of the Cavs...real name "Maurice" which is what is on there..
but he mainly goes by "Mo" what should we go with? Mo or Maurice?

There are two records of STAT (Amare Stoudemire) with the FNAME "Amar'e" is that right?

That's ALL of the 30 NBA teams plus East and West All-Stars...i just double checked the rookie/soph teams and they are good
all jersey numbers, roster order, and CASH TEAMS are up-to-date
i did not touch any of the add-on teams...or checked if any of the salaries are correct

could we use my teamgear.dbf? did you do anything on it? is it ok to replace yours?
cause I'm always updating the teamgear.dbf and i believe you just did some work only on player.dbf and appearance.dbf right?

so i'll download it and test it..

vhan, make sure that you have installed all files that is inside the rar file especially the ebo files.

you've done amazing job!!! Maybe I'm wrong but yesterday when I was checking rosters Tyrus Thomas from Bulls was also missing.. If it's possible could you check that? That was only thing to be fixed as far as I know.

That's easy to fix but it would be good if you checked all players that were missing again to avoid appearance.dbf bugs.

About wizards coach, Saunders probably will be their coach but only next season so that's not that important..

I think we shoul choose "Mo" instead of "Maurice" since that's what he's called now in the NBA

I agree.. ESPN uses Mo not Maurice as well so that's quite logical choice.
