Classic Teams '07 * demo released pg.12 - 8.17.09*

Hi, old time lurker here. I was wondering if there were any plans on making a 2002 Sacramento Kings team or if there is one already made somewhere. I would LOVE to see it.

After a break of several months a PC that crashed where i lost all my previous work for NBA Live PC and 95/96 Season mod. I'm back to work.

"02 kings are included...I've actually redoing some of the courts with jao's reflection update he released awile ago. I'm compliling art to finish 81 bucks, 54 MPLS lakers , possibly a '80's era nugget team with Alex English. i completed the '07 cavs that failed to win a game in the finals and '05 spurs champs.

I'm open to requests for classic teams...I just won't include anymore '00 to '08 teams.

I'm requesting some help from my fellow patchers out there.

1. i have the 96 sonics included but theyre wearing 80's era jerseys as of now.
I have the correct 1996 jerseys and previews but I'm not very good at number positioning.I tried to be as accurate as possible so let me know.

2. 54 MPLS laker jerseys are in NBA 2k9. If someone can patch the home and away jerseys and have them work for Live '07

3.Away jerseys for the '63 Sixers. can provide pix also.

4. A front end art expert. I can provide several retro NBA pics.

5. help finding a solution to allstar game crash bug. Season and playoff modes work..but i cant figure this one out...

Personally I'd like '94 Warriors also.

I see you don't want to include more '00s teams, but I think '04 T-Wolves are worth to make an exception. They were really nice. And if '07 Cavs are there, I think it wouldn't be fair not to include '08 Celtics, but whatever. Those teams won't require much art work. As for the dbfs, maybe I'll be able to help you a little bit if you wish.

Yeah, it looks like that, but all those were nice teams with pretty good results, except the Warriors, but they just had great roster and very bright future, but Webber prefered money in Washington. Still Avery-Spree-Mullin-Owens-Webber looks impressive, that's why I wanted to include them.

IF you have art for the Knicks, that's fine, even less work to be done.

Celtics and Lakers - alright. They deserve to be there.

No, but there is a patch like this for Live 08 also. It's a beta, but it's better than nothing. Filefront is down, so I'll upload it to other site in a few days and re-release it.

I dont have much time to do much of anything lately, but I'm getting there slowly. I still want to add 99 Knicks and a few more. I still need some jerseys from dragon..the current ones are missing the alpha file and look shiny. Ive redone all the stadiums reflections thanks to jao's update.

Just noticed the NBA at 50's team, does that method work also in older nba live like 06 or 05? (the one where they use their teams' jerseys)

The team specific jerseys only work for 07/08. I just used the jersey viv file that jao made from his nba street mod.

oh, no requests already? too bad.. 'cause i want to request for the '08 houston team... the one that won 22 straight wins..

anyway, this mod is good!

I am really late to this thread and website. I haven't been on here forever and bought NBA Live 09 a couple of weeks ago. Can I load all of these updates for classic teams on 09 with my PS3. If so, how do I do that?

Is there anyway you can include the 04 Wolves(Garnett, Spree and Sam Cassell), 08 Celtics (Allen, Pierce and Garnett) on season mode, 00 Blazers(Sheed, Pippen) and 09 Lakers (Kobe, Gasol and Odom) on season mode? I know you probably working on it now, but those are some great teams that other people probably would like to play with

04 wolves will be made...00 blazers,09, lakers ,95 rockets will also be there..Not sure about the dallas teams. What i'm trying to do is have season mode playable with only teams that won the championship. The rest will be exibition only. Once it's released with a little dbf editing..you can place whatever team you like in season mode. After that I think i need to stop adding teams...i've been working on this mod off and on for about 2 years..lol..I want to release a final verion eventually. Thanks for the support

There's no actual timetable for the final release....I just finished adding the alpa files to all 57 teams done so far. When complete , there will probably be closer to 70 teams in total...

now my classic team roster only has 30 team. but i saw the pictures top of the page has some teams i don't have .
for example ,83 spurs ,

98 laker, 99 roket,99knick, 50 laker, and so on.
how can i download the latest classic team roster ?

Once it's released with a little dbf editing..you can place whatever team you like in season mode.

I think you can make it possible without dbf editing. Mark every team as an NBA team, only don't put those over 30 in any division which is already full with NBA teams. After setting league type to custom in season settings, I think you should be able to put any team you like in any division you like. I'm not sure about it though, but it's worth a try.

Good news. But, I remember you saying you added 08 Celtics and Lakers, so if 08 Lakers are still there, I think there's no need to have 09 Lakers as well, because they're practically the same, only this year they have Brown instead of Radmanovic... but it's just my opinion.

Maybe 09 Magic? It's quite a surprise they got to the finals.

Right now you can't, it's not released yet.
