Create Player with CF & Match hidden Shoes Tutorial

Can anyone teach me how to match the hidden shoes ( Nike Thrillrahna ) to the players? I don't understand the tutorial posted by jordanzb on the first page.

To put it simpler, find the address of the player you want by getting the first 4 (or 6) of his attributes and converting it to hex. After locating it, scroll up until you find a bunch of FFFFs (FFFF FFFF FFFF...). On the last FFFF, go to the fifth four character string (FFFF #### #### #### #### (##)##), change the parenthesized characters to the ones specified on the first page by jordanzb. Hope this helps.

P.S. I kinda discovered this even before jordanzb posted the tutorial. Hehehe.

i am using UE. i found those FF's, in pairs not by 4's (FFFF), and i did not see those in parenthesis.

Example :

You need to have the Real Shoes Patch v4 in order for it to work

Yes, i change Ivey's shoes, but in game still showing TS Commander

I'm using UltraEdit, and assign Adidas TS

Once you found Ivey's player address, scroll up until you find a bunch of FF FF Strings

FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF FF 00 00 4C 00 5B 00 (04 00 07 01)

On the last FF FF string change the value to the one in parenthesis (value of 7th to 10th string from the last FF), copy exactly (04 00 07 01) this is Adidas TS Black

Click save as in UE and rename yout ros file to another one.

Open it in Hades Editor and save.
Run 2k9 and load your renamed ros file
It will load successfully if you hex edited correctly

Use the EGS roster, copy the code for Magic Johnson's shoe.

Change it to 02 00 0A 00 - this is for Nike Thrillrahna White, just change the shoe color in game then.

02 - NIke Brand
0A - Thrillrahna
00 - White Shoe Color

I did black "1" player and I opened roster in hexworkshop and I found adress of close shotting and I went up to -13c adress and I replaced 04 to 00. I saved roster and run the game. When I load roster, I have this information: "The NBA 2K9 roster save file cannot be used because the data is corrupted."
What now, please help.

After saving your renamed roster, you need to open it on either Hades or Finn's Roster Editor then save,

Need help. How do I find the players specific address using Hex editor? When I type the converted numbers (eg. 5C), it shows more than 1000 addresses. Hope someone can help me.
