change faces? background not transparent?

you see, i wanna change a.bynum's face, cause he's, like, has a blank face. but i try using the program like all you guys say to, and you know, it works, i can import the picture, but it's got a white background. i try with different color, but still i can't get the background to be transparent. help please?

Which program are you using? You need to save the image in a format that will allow you to set a colour as transparent.

i save the picture in .bmp with ms paint. i tried use other format, .jpg and .png and others, but i did not see them come up when i import into fshx

You'll need to use another program, MS Paint won't do the job. Google GIMP, it's free.
