Still no replies :-o If this is gonna be at least the same level as your Wizard´s and Hornets dynasty were, then this is gonna be great. Love your selection, Miami has been my 2nd fav team for a quite long time(Keith Askins ftw!). Anyway good luck with it, hoping this will start soon.

Don't care for the Heat, or the fact that this is in the 2010 season. Nevertheless, your Wizards one was great, and I'm sure this will be too. Good luck. (Y)

So, as you can see on the picture, this will be the 10/11 season. I already have finished the 08/09 and 09/10. I won't probably to a recap about that season. I can tell you I won 21 of the 29 games and was beaten by Detroit in the Eastern Conference finals in game #5. A tough game, went into OT thanks to D-Wade's game-tying shot at the buzzer. Some accomplishments.. Mario Chalmers (69) and Michael Beasley (78) bot made the All-Rookie 1 team, Dwyane Wade was mentioned in the All-NBA 2nd team and Shawn Marion took home the Defensive player of the year honors.. Acquisitions : I have done trades.. I have brought in with many trades players I want on my team. They are Kyle Korver (of course), Tyson Chandler, Al Horford, Kyle Lowry and Leon Powe. Players who were traded include Alonzo Mourning, Udonis Haslem among others... I only had to re-sign Dorell Wright this summer, which I did. Can't let him go.. My starting five currently include : Mario Chalmers, Dwyane Wade, Shawn Marion, Michael Beasley and Al Horford, but Korver, Chandler, Wright, Cook are in my rotation. So there's only one goal this season - win the championship. As usually, I simulate the first three quarters and play the fourth. It doesn't matter, what the score is. I am using Live 06, due to Live 08 crashing issues. I placed all my Live 08 CF-s and portraits in my Live 06, works perfectly. I just got some fresh jerseys in the game, so it will look good. I chose the Heat, cause D-Wade is my favorite player and the Heat is my favorite team this season. I acquired Korver and others, to make this team perfect for me. The Bucks and the Lakers dynasties i have done were cancelled, cause I really didn't like the teams. The Hornets was cancelled, because Live 08 had too many crashing issues I don't want to convert everythin from 2x to 1x or something like that. I don't get that sort of thing through my head.. So this will be up and running, as soon as i get my own PC connected to the internet, which should happen this week. Post any question or the traditional "Good luck" posts. I wont reserve any of the next posts, cause I always put all my stuff in the first.

I can also say, that it will have weekly recaps. Probably 2 weeks at once. Mostly because my Wizards association was inducted in the Hall of Fame..

Terribly sorry for not starting this when promised, but I can't control my Internet connection supplier..

Re: Miami Heat | Coming soon...

Good news!

This is not dead, as all of you probably thought. I played through the 09/10 season because of boredom. :P

I will try to bring updates as consistently as I can.

I won the Championship, beating Dallas 3-0 (Best of 5).

I've played 3 games 2010/11 season, standing at 2-1.

I've completed some trades. Acquiring Josh Smith among others.

Current roster :

C - Tyson Chandler | 78
PF - Michael Beasley | 87
SF - Josh Smith | 87 (For Shawn Marion)
SG - Dwyane Wade | 96
PG - Mario Chalmers | 73
----------------
6th - Udonis Haslem | 78 (Reacquired for Horford)
7th - Dorell Wright | 75
8th - Ben Vuu | 76 (A 7'5'' giant sophomore, acquired from Atlanta in a separate deal from Marion)
9th - Daequan Cook | 74
10th - Zaza Pachulia | 72 (In the Marion deal)
11th - Kyle Lowry | 71
12th - Kyle Korver | 70
---------------
IR1 - Leon Powe | 66
IR2 - Lamar Wolf | 60

I'll of course make like a game of some sort, to keep you guys interested, and hopefully, this will keep going for some time.

Re: Miami Heat | Update! 15 Jan..

Postby Martti. on Fri Jan 16, 2009 7:26 am

So, I'll start off with the competition.

Next Week Games :

@ LA Lakers.
VS Phoenix
@ Washington

Predicted record : Only accurate gives 3 points.
Wade total points : (+/- 7 points.)
Chandler total blocks : (+/- 2 blocks.)
Korver total made three pointers : (+/- 1 made.)
Josh Smith total blocks + steals : (+/- 3.)

If you'll get accurately, that's 3 points and if you're guess fits the exceptions, that's one point.

I hope this system isn't too complicated. Remember, it's the total that counts and it's three games over the next two weeks. ;)

Hope to get some replies!

Week 1-2 recap

Game #1 :

Image Miami 129 @ 103 LA Lakers Image

Terrific offensive night guides Heat to victory.

Michael Beasley had 36 points and 10 assists as Miami cruised behind a 62% field goal percentage to a 129-103 win
over the Lakers. The Heat didn't even need much from Dwyane Wade, who finished with just 11 points on perfect
shooting night. Kobe Bryant had 29 and Andrew Bynum had 20 to lead the Lakers. The game was decided in the third
quarter, where the Heat outscored the Lakers 40 to 19.

Key stats :

Michael Beasley : 36 points, 10 assists, 3 rebounds, 15-21 FG
Tyson Chandler : 22 points, 6 rebounds, 3 blocks, 10-16 FG
Josh Smith : 8 points, 12 rebounds
Dwyane Wade : 11 points, 5-5 FG
Mario Chalmers : 20 points
Kyle Korver : 3 points, 1-7 FG
--------------
Kobe Bryant : 29 points, 8 assists, 11-21 FG
Andrew Bynum : 20 points, 8 rebounds
Lamar Odom : 16 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists

------------------------------------------------

Game #2 :

Image Phoenix 120 @ 103 Miami Image

Heat smashed at home.

It was decided in the first quarter 40-21 and the suns rolled from there to a 120-103 road win over the Heat. Amare
lead the way with 36 points, 13 boards and 6 assists, to go along with much other goodies. Suns shot 57% from the
field, compared to not so bad 46% by the Heat.

Key stats :

Amare Stoudemire : 36 points, 6 assists, 13 rebounds, 4 blocks, 16-22 FG
Boris Diaw : 23 points, 8 assists, 3 blocks, 9-12 FG

Dwyane Wade : 17 points, 8 assists
Kyle Korver : 9 points, 3-6 3PT FG

------------------------------------------------

Game #3 :

Image Miami 114 @ 88 Washington Image

Heat regain momentum, crush Wizards on the road.

It was all fun again for the Heat, cruising yet to another road win. After a big loss to Phoenix, Miami
came firing out the locker room to take a 12 points first quarter lead. This was much thanks to the
best bench player probably in the league - Udonis Haslem. He went 8-9 from the field to go with 7
boards, this all in just 18 minutes.

Key stats :

Udonis Haslem : 19 points, 7 rebounds, 8-9 FG, 3-3 FT
Dwyane Wade : 22 points, 10 assists
Tyson Chandler : 17 points, 8 rebounds
Michael Beasley : 18 points, 7 rebounds
Josh Smith : 0 points, 8 rebounds
Mario Chalmers : 14 points, 6 assists
Kyle Korver : 13 points, 3 assists, 4-8 FG, 2-2 FT
--------------
Antawn Jamison : 19 points, 8 rebounds
Gilbert Arenas : 16 points, 6 assists

------------------------------------------------

Record : 2-1
Wade Total Points : 50
Chandler Total Blocks : 7
Korver total made three pointers : 7
Josh Smith total blocks + steals : 7

Scoreboard :

1. -PeeBo : 3 + 0 + 1 + 3 + 1 = 8
2. ratrac : 3 + 0 + 3 + 0 + 0 = 6

I really hope there will be more people in next weeks competition :)

Week #3-4 :

VS Houston.
VS New Orleans.
@ Sacramento.
VS Toronto.

It's four games, the rules are the same.

Please comment! :D

Game #1 :

Heat hold off Rockets hot finish.

The Rockets scored 46 points in the final quarter, came within a point to the Heat with 1.36 to go, but D-Wade was
clutch from the line, hitting all his 10 attempts late and guiding the Heat to a home victory. Steve Francis' injury

Key 3 performers :

Dwyane Wade : 22 points, 10 assists, 12-13 FT

------------------------------------------------

victory. Wade had even a more quiet evening as he did against the Rockets. Scoring just 11 points on a 4-7 shooting.
Michael Beasley led the way with 29, 5 more scored in double figures. Both teams got a good performance form their
benches, Miami stayed on top 41-30. CP3 replacement - Speedy Claxton, went just 1-10 from the field and finished
with 5 points.
