how i can creat my face???

hai i have 2 softwares
1)NBA2K9.EXE(to edit data roster)
and
2)iff tool

and i want to creat my face
for exampke i want that instead of mike byby face it will be my face how i do this thing?

well, you need photoshop to edit the face texture and you need skills for it.

Well im not that good in CF patching but you can try this (a simple kind of way )...

1.) First extract the IFF file of Mike Bibby as stated earlier (I think this is png059)

2.) Once extracted, locate for the "AE2D486A_DXT5" file (this is in BMP usually)

3.) Ofcourse you have a picture of your face so you can either use MSPaint to copy and paste it for a quick installation (just to try it out ) or use Photoshop to get it exactly in detail (For the Photoshop instructions, im not an expert in this but you can try downloading this "http://download.nba-live.com/index.php?act=view&id=1441" - its for NBA Live but it has a good tutorial on how to create a Cyber Face)

4.) When your done, convert the "AE2D486A_DXT5" file to DDS format (You can use this converter "http://www.civfanatics.net/uploads10/dds_converter_v21.zip")***

***NOTE: In the DDS Converter, make sure to check the options DXT1a, Build Mipmaps and Save Alpha (Mannnn, reading in this forum really teaches you a lot, I promise ... so thats why I'm giving a little back to the community )

5.) Import the file "AE2D486A_DXT5" back to its IFF (For more details on how to use the IFF. check this topic "http://forums.nba-live.com/viewtopic.php?f=94&t=62380&st=0&sk=t&sd=a")... And that should be it...

If any of the details here is a bit unclear... just let me know

thankyou but i dont undersand 2 thing in the dds converter i need to marker The options : DXT1a, Build Mipmaps and Save Alpha or not

and second when i try to import the file AE2D486A_DXT5" back to its IFF is show me explorer eror and after this eror when i try again he (commend) show me : 9ng059 is missing

For the DDS Converter, when you open that program, there's an option button where in you can see those items I listed ( DXT1a, Build Mipmaps and Save Alpha)... You need this program to convert the BMP you edited to DDS so it can be imported

For the missing error, you need to make sure the DDS file you converted is in the same place where the IFF file is so it can be imported.

It's like this (hope this doesn't confuse you more ):

1. Extract IFF file
2. IFF tool will generate a folder for the extracted IFF
3. Locate the file you will edit then once done, convert to DDS
4. Move the DDS file outside the generated folder
5. Import DDS using IFF tool

I wanted to give you an instruction w/ screenshots but I don't know how to put images in my post since I'm still kinda new in the forum.

Anyway, just keep shooting with the questions if you still don't understand and I'll try my best to explain further
