First off, for all of you that opened this up and didn't see any fancy photoshop images, didn't see any player headshots, and just saw a big block of text and quickly hit the back button...well I don't know while I'm referencing you if your not reading anymore. Awkward. Anyways, Apparently I joined back in 2006 and I have a whopping 400 posts in the last 4 years. I remember when I first joined the 2k Association section did not exist and we had to post our Associations in the "Video Game Stories" section. That was back when me, Lamrock, and Thierry competed to see who could start and not finish the most stories down in that dreadful section. Glad to see both of them have moved and and have made some amazing stories. When I first joined I was a Sophomore in High School and loved to play video games. Found this website somehow and tried to achieve an amazing story, but kept failing. I eventually faded from the NLCS scene and got into some other stuff. To make a long story short, I got arrested and then took my option of joining the military over jail time. Yep... I'm in the United States Army and living in Honolulu, Hawaii now. Sound Fun? Go ahead and join and you can find out for yourself.
Basically I love to write, especially about sports. I had a short stint as the sports editor for the junior college I was at for a semester. I also had some featured columns in my local small town paper. Yay for me. Now I have returned to this forum because I want to have a place I can get away and just write. I'm not going to waste hours making pretty little photos for you guys. If you guys have an extremely easy way of uploading photos from my PS3 onto this forum then maybe I'll post some live action video games snapshots for all of you to drool over. I am going to write and have black and white photos instead to keep you all bored. You will have to bear with me, basketball is not my sport. I am a huge baseball fan and know the sport inside and out. I do have plenty of knowledge on the NBA and NFL, so I won't make you guys think, "What the Fuck," too much.

I think the problem for a lot of people is that they start an Association with a team and they get bored of the team. They see other teams and decide they would rather play with them so they start over. Guess what... I don't want to rebuild a team and I don't want to make a great team greater. In fact I don't want to play as one or even two teams. It sounds extremely boring. What could keep me interested enough to make me do multiple seasons. Well I don't want to be David Stern, but I would love to be God. Then it hit me, why not control all 30 teams in the NBA? Yep, that's right, I will be controlling all 30 teams. I want to have fun and I want you guys to have fun reading. I will be doing this as a writer following the NBA. I will get to decide what moves every NBA team makes. That means if NLCS Johnny loves the Warriors and hate Monta Ellis, he can PM over and over begging me to get rid of him. You do that Johnny and I'll grant your wishes. If you guys have any ideas for this go ahead and put them out there. We can play that little game you all love so much, the prediction game. I could probably get some NLCS guys in the draft. We could do a monthly vote on some random ass transaction.
Many of you are probably thinking I will have some bias against some teams. Well... Your right, I'm a fan and hate some team. Does that mean I'm going to burry that team in my Association? That is very possible. I want to have fun and that's what I'm going to do. I can have outlandish storylines, I can do whatever I want. I'm looking forward to starting this, but remember I will not be updating three or four times a day. You will have to settle with the one update a day or two because I do have a ridiculous job. Just remember when your reading and can't believe something is happening...This is My NBA

Welcome back to the forums Agent420. Can't say I noticed you a few years back, but then again that was probably when I stopped doing dynasties/Associations.

Agent420 wrote:If you guys have an extremely easy way of uploading photos from my PS3 onto this forum then maybe I'll post some live action video games snapshots for all of you to drool over.

This is what I did:

    1. Go to: http://community.2ksports.com/community/
    2. Sign up
    3. Link you PSN user name to 2k user name
    4. When in 2k11, you can now upload pictures/replays. You can do this either from the replay menu or for nice pics from your games, check out the Pressbook, which comes up in a list right after the Player of Game is finished. From here, you can choose to upload some or all of the pics. Click triangle to tick any pics you want to upload and then choose upload option then choose upload selected pictures only. It should upload them to your 2k internet thing within half a day or so. Sometimes(often) 2k servers are shite so you may not be able to upload, such as been the case the last week. Seems to be working again now though. I always just use Pressbook for my pics, but if you want videos, use the replay option to upload.
Once you are signed up to 2k thing & you get hang of it, it is really easy. I wouldn't be doing an Association myself if 2k didn't offer this sweet feature (Y)

Thanks X, glad to know they made an easier way to upload pictures now. Yea, many people won't remember me. I was usually down in the Video Game Stories Section and was a very "on and off again" user.

The Idea - Player Rejuvenation

The Idea - Player Rejuvenation
Do you miss when Vince Carter used to amaze everyone with his sick dunks? What about when Tracy McGrady was unstoppable before micro fracture knee surgery? I remember crying every time Shaquille O'neal came to town and would own the Kings in the playoffs. Peja Stoyakavic was at one time considered the best three-point-shooter in the entire NBA. Hedo Turkoglu was considered the orchestrator of the Magic's offense a couple years ago. A young Josh Howard was Dirk's right hand man in Dallas until he fell to injury. Marcus Camby has just gotten old, but boy would I love to see him young again so he could send it right back into Dwight Howard's face. I know I will never forget when Richard Hamilton and the Detroit Pistons were being looked at as the next best basketball dynasty. If a younger and better Zydrunas Ilgauskas played for the Miami Heat right now, they might very well be that much more unstoppable. Baron Davis owned the Dallas Mavericks that year that the Warriors became the first eight seed to top a number one seed. I bet Mike Bibby wishes he was as good now as he was with the Sacramento Kings, maybe then the Hawks could get past the first round of the playoffs. Elton Brand to this day is still scrutinized about not living up to his full potential.

Well guess what... This is My NBA and I think it is time to make some of these players what they were supposed to be. That's right I have the ability to change attributes and change the shape of the NBA. First up, we as a team have to select three of the eligible players to improve. What do I mean by improve? I mean improving their overall rating by 10 Points. Yea I said it, ten points. I want to see these players bring their careers back. I know that a ten point overall change might make some of these players better than they ever were. That's what is so great about it, we get to have our own NBA world and orchestrate our own universe with different results than the real world. I thought that's what video games were for? I say fuck being realistic. The players information is below and I will make a poll so you can vote for at least three of the players.

PF Elton Brand - Philidelphia 76ers
Age 31 - Overall 78

C Shaquille O’neal - Boston Celtics
Age 38 - Overall 77

PG Baron Davis - Los Angeles Clippers
Age 31 - Overall 75

PG Mike Bibby - Atlanta Hawks
Age 32 - Overall 73

C Zydrunas Ilgauskas - Miami Heat
Age 35 - Overall 70

SF Hedo Turkoglu - Orlando Magic
Age 31 - Overall 74

SG Richard Hamilton - Detroit Pistons
Age 32 - Overall 77

SG Tracy McGrady - Detroit Pistons
Age: 31 - Overall 73

SF Peja Stojakovic - Toronto Raptors
Age 33 - Overall 61

SG Vince Carter - Phoenix Suns
Age 33 - Overall 81

C Marcus Camby - Portland Trailblazers
Age 36 - Overall 78

SF Josh Howard - Dallas Mavericks
Age 30 - Overall 71

I voted for T-Mac, Brand & Stojakovic. All would be better players if not for injury, especially McGrady.

Shame Webber is no longer in the NBA, otherwise he would've got my vote.

If Chris Webber was still in the NBA, he wouldn't have to be featured in the vote. He would get it automatically, I feel for him and T-Mac. I am currently going through the process of getting the same surgery as them. Seeing how they didn't come back fully makes me very nervous.

Boo to the people voting for Shaq. He's had his run. Wasn't a half assed career cut short by injuries like others.

Yea, if he gets the extra 10 overall points it will make the Magic scary.

When you put it that way I agree with you, but that's why there are multiples. So we can see Shaq dominate and two gets their redemption. Celtics with new Shaq = Best Team in NBA

I vote for Big Z, Rip Hamilton and T-Mac. Everyone else on the list have either been pretty close to winning it all or had pretty good careers... and some are just retards like Davis and Carter who have/had talent but not the right attitudes.

Big Z seems like a nice dude, Rip is a nice guy too :) 10 extra points probably make them way better than they ever were.

T-Mac is just unlucky and was the best player during 2002-2004/2005ish.

Great idea! I vote for T-mac Rip Hamilton and Shaq. It would be great to see again Shaq dominating the paint, T-Mac race for MVP and great shooting skills from Rip! Keep it up mate

T-Mac. No title, career ruined by injuries. No Shaq, he has his titles.

So I'll go with T-Mac, Carter and Camby.

I chose Shaq, Baron, and VC :D

Was hoping to see Grant Hill on this list, but seeing as I'm already recreating what could have been a superstar career of his in the Live Franchise/Dynasty section, it may have been a little too similar. :D

I live in Atlanta and whenever I see Bibby I wish he was the same Bibby from 2002 when he got so close to a title.
Tracy McGrady was one of the better players to have his career destroyed by injuries and the Pistons have been very terrible to watch as of late.
My last choice was Richard Hamilton because I really appreciated the work him and Chauncey did in Detroit even though I hated them. They showed that you don't need a superstar to get a ring.

Well I hope my articles will be satisfying for you and I don't think T-mac is having any trouble getting votes.

If I had four votes, Rip would have gotten it. Especially if him and T-Mac both got boosts... Can you say watch out Pistons?

I don't know, Pittsburgh is playing very well. Iverson should stay in Turkey... forever

I was very tempted to bring Grant Hill on the list, but now that I think about it... I don't know why I didn't. He is pretty good on the game anyways though. Plus you are already recreating what could have been a superstar career for him and I didn't want to be a copy cat. I actually had no idea you were doing it, but hey I'll use the excuse for leaving him out.

Being from Northern California and loving the Kings of the early 2000s, I miss Mike Bibby at that level. Peja and Webber too actually. I also agree with the Tracy McGrady support from everyone, I can't wait to see him in this association back at his best form. I wouldn't mind seeing Rip get it over Vince Carter.

I think T-Mac deserves an extra 15 overall rating points if he wins it. I'm sure everybody remembers him rated in low 90's not too many years back. An 88 might be fitting, but 83 is fine all the same (Y)

Are you going to pump up some shooting tendencies for these 3 winners too so that their sim stats improve?
