The Warriors association is far from dead, but its hiatus will continue as I want to discover all that 2K10 has to offer. This is a casual association, one with sporadic updates and that I'm not fully committed to. An old school, just-for-fun one. There will probably be pics eventually, but despite their cult following, I'm not planning on any stories for this one; nor will it contain other nice, but time-sucking features. Despite me constantly selling this down, I'm excited for this. You never know, this could evolve into a bigger association. Hope you follow.

I'm still undecided on the future of my Association story

Yup. My biggest stories (Nellieball and Flying High) both didn't start until page 2. This won't be the case. but hopefully I can get at least a small following going before tip-off.

I played one game with a team, and it was fun, but I'm not married to them yet. Team will be revealed in 1-24 hours.

Looking forward to this one. This is actually what I also want to do. But it's tough for me to not fully commit. It's not like I spent my whole time for a dynasty, but I like to keep it up to date regularly. So not sure yet wether or not I should start one. It's been awhile since I had a decent one though ...

COACH WASHBURN'S BULLS BLOG

Posted October 9, 2009, 12:22 PM by CoachWashburn - Hello, Bulls fans. As all of you know by now, after general manager John Paxson was fired, I was named as his replacement. (Owner) Jerry Reinsdorf told me that my first task as GM would be to find a replacement for Vinnie Del Negro. After several days of interviews, I decided that I would be the best man for the job.

I started this blog for the purpose of keeping fans in the loop. Back in my high-school coaching days, I used to keep a diary of the games, and I figured I would continue this tradition as an NBA coach. Hopefully I don't get into hot water by leaking unfinished trades...

This season is going to be a difficult one. After my predecessor lost our leading scorer Ben Gordon in the offseason, there has been quite a bit of uncertainty about whether the Bulls are even a playoff team anymore. After just a few days with this team, I can safely say that they are. Derrick Rose is looking more and more like a budding superstar, and let me tell you: Luol Deng is back! The Bulls are back on the right track.

Following training camp, our staff created a system for evaluating players overall ratings. Its an imperfect system, but it came up with some interesting findings. Just don't let John Hollinger get ahold of this... While I will be making my lineups based on performance and not an arbitrary rating, its still interesting. Here is our projected opening night lineup, with overall ratings:

Gave it a name and have played a couple games. Stats are pretty off so I'll need to find some better sliders soon. Not really focused on stat-padding for realism like I did with my last couple associations. Should I set up a prediction game?

As most of you know already, my 360 ate my rented copy of 2K10, and I've decided to resurrect my Nellieball association. For the time being, this association is called off. It may be resurrected when I finish Nellieball/2K10 becomes good, but even in that case, I would likely lean towards a my player blog or Rockets association. Apologies to those who got excited for this, and I hope you decide to follow Nellieball!
