*With help from Mo Williams, LeBron and the Cavs have one of the best records in the league and this year, the Cavs will be sending 2 players to the All-Star Game.
Cleveland, OH (AP) -- Coming off a Game 7 loss to the NBA Champions Boston Celtics, the Cavs have looked promising this season with the record of 40-11 and the winners of 7 of the last 8, currently riding a one game winning streak going into the All-Star Weekend. LeBron James hasn't been anything other than spectacular averaging just under 30 points per game, around 6 rebounds and 7 assists. He is going head to head with Kobe Bryant for this years Most Valuable Honor.
Most of the success that Cleveland has had this season, Mo Williams is responsible as well. The 5th year guard out of Alabama is averaging career numbers in points and assists. He was acquired from the Milwaukee Bucks in a three team deal that also involved the Oklahoma City Thunder last year. Mo was drafted 47th overall in the 2003 NBA Draft by the Utah Jazz. He is averaging around 13 points and 5 assists on his career.
Williams who scored his career high 44 points against the Suns Wednesday night heads into the All-Star break as one of the hottest guards in the league. He got voted in by the coaches as an All-Star Reserve for the Eastern Conference. The Cavs will get back on the court this upcoming Wednesday when they face the newly look Toronto Raptors.
