RETRO NIGHT (0-1) (0-1)

33 33 28 16 110
Someone needs to tell DeMar DeRozan that he can miss. In this game, he couldn't miss, at all. He went an unbelievable 10-10 from the field for 21 points, and had 10 rebounds to earn himself a double-double. Andrea Bargnani also had a great game, going 9-10 with 27 points. The duo has been Toronto's deadly attack.
For the Cavs however, this game was hell from the start. The only bright spot was Antawn Jamison who had 19 points and 9 rebounds. Daniel Gibson actually had 19 points...... but it took him 32 shot attempts to get there, 23 of those shot attempts were 3 point attempts. Read More....

The Raptors first game away from the ACC was a success, beating the Kings 118-110. They had a great game all-around, including one from Sonny Weems who had 17 points in the second half, ending up with 19. Andra Bargnani had 23 points and 8 rebounds, which is surprising for his rebounding stat. DeMar DeRozan and Jerryd Bayless both had 11 assists, which mean DeRozan had his second straight double-double. Linas Kleiza finally had his breakout game, going for 15 points and 7 rebounds off the bench.
The Kings had a huge game from Tyreke 'Reke' Evans, in which he had 29 points. The attention Evans got allowed Beno Udrih to have open shots, in a game where he had 21 points, a season high. Jason Thompson had a strong game, going for 15 points and 13 rebounds. Carl Landry was quiet and had 13 points to go along with his 8 rebounds. Read More....

What a game (not really). When Andrea Bargnani scores only 13, and you guys still win, that shows that the other team sucks. DeMar DeRozan and another great game, with 20 points and 7 rebounds. Sonny Weems, the second half scoring king, had 14 of his 18 points in the second half. Linas Kleiza and Jerryd Bayless both had 14 points, with Bayless dishing out 13 assists. New signing Chris Hunter shocked the Jazz with scoring 10 points.
Yeah, 4 people scored 20 points or more for the Jazz. Deron Williams led the charge, scoring 25 points and dishing out 9 assists. Al 'Big Ass' Jefferson followed Williams' lead and scored 23 points, and grabbing 14 rebounds. CJ Miles and Paul Millsap each had 20 points. The rest of the team was below double figures (the next highest scorer was Gordon Hawyard who had 6 points) Read More....

What has happened to the Heat?
The Heat were supposed to win 72 games. They were supposed to top the 95-96 Bulls' record.
That won't happen anytime soon.
The Miami Heat are 1-4 entering their next game against the Hornets. Let's see how their season started.
Game 1: @ Boston (100-103) The way this game ended was amazing. The Heat blew an 11 point lead, only to shutdown the Celtics in the 3rd. In the 4th however, Paul Pierce nailed a three from the corner with .3 seconds left to lift Boston over the Heat.
Big Three: 64 Points The Other 12: 46 Points
Game 2: @ Philadelphia (86-93) The Heat were obviously devastated with the loss they just had, and were totally off their game. They were outscored by 9 in the 4th quarter, only scoring 14 points.
Big Three: 51 Points The Other 12: 35 points
Game 3: vs Orlando (101-100) Jason Richardson provided the dagger over Dwayne Wade, to provide the Magic with the win. Their comeback was cut short.
Big Three: 69 Points The Other 12: 31 Points
Game 4: @ New Jersey (91-100) Critics talked about the Heat's weak frontline, and Kris Humphries exploited that, scoring 21 points as the Nets pulled the upset.
Big Three: 58 Points The Other 12: 33 Points
Game 5: vs Minnesota (91-131) An absolute blowout. The Heat preformed to their best on this game. LeBron had 49, D-Wade had 26, and CB1 had 21.
The Big Three: 96 The Other 12: 35 Points
So can the Heat turn it around?

Martin to Teammate: "Fuck Off"
According to multiple sources, Julian Martin is getting sick of Valdis Iesalnieks after he grabbed a rebound straight from his hands so he could have 10 rebounds.
"What desperate asshole does that?" said Martin to a group of reporters.
Cruise and Earnest still rolling in Non-Conference play
The Duke Blue Devils are still rolling and are off to a 6-0 start and have dominated all of their opponents, including Army University. Stellar play form Carl Cruise helped the Blue Devils win 100-69, with 25 points. Slamdunk Earnest was injured in the game before, and did not play.
George Koukoulis upset with Olympiacos
Young swingman George Koukoulis of Olympiacos is upset with the management's reluctance to re-negotiate his contract. He wants to have an opt out clause this year, where he will enter the 2011 NBA Draft. But presidents Panagiotis and Giorgos Angelopoulos have said that they don't want to include an opt out clause.
"My dream is to play in the NBA, and I plan on sticking with that dream, no matter what." said Koukoulis to a group of reporters.
Koukoulis is currently in a 3 year 25.10 million dollar contract.
His agent also released a statement saying, "We don't want George's NBA team to have the hassle of buying out his contract, so an opt out clause would make both sides very happy."
Otoo an All-American?
Zee Otoo has recently been on fire. Averaging 26 points and 7 rebonds, he is 5th in the nation 6 games in. The Wolfpack (6-0) are dominating as well, beating an upset minded Coastal Carolina team 65-47.
