BULLS LAND TRACY McGRADY IN MULTI-PLAYER TRADE
Since the Bulls parted ways with Loul Deng a month ago in the trade involving 5 teams, the Bulls have insisted on acquiring another SF either to be the starter to backup off season acquisitions Kyle Korver. Which is why the Bulls decided to acquire Tracy McGrady to fill the void, despite the fact that he has recently returned from a _ injury, they feel that he can still be productive. Bulls GM feels that the team made a bad move by looking him over in the off season and is sure that T-Mac can make a comeback in Chicago. As far as the injury issue, T-Mac is playing through the injury and being in Chicago gives T-Mac more time to train with Tim Grover of Attack Athletics, a trainer most notable for helping players such as Michael Jordan.Tracy is really going to add the veteran experience this young squad needs. He will be a mentor to our young players, like Ronnie is,and because of his structure,he can cover the SF spot as well.We believe in him,and I'm sure he is going to revive himself here in Chicago

THE FACTS: The Clippers started hot again, lead by Baron Davis, the team hit their first 6 shots and would go on to shoot 75% in the 1Q. With Augustin dealing with an injury, the Bobcats went to former Clipper Shaun Livingston early. Either way, Baron had his way as he would end up scoring 17 points in the game, 12 of which in the first half. The Clippers would lead as much as 19 points, but second half runs by Stephen Jackson and Gerald Wallace got the Bobcats as close as 5 points. Then Eric Gordon and Blake Griffin took over starting at the end of the 3Q. The lead would see-saw between 11-8 points, but would stay secure. Gordon hit 4 3PT, 3 in the 4Q and would help push the lead back to 14.
THE STAT: For the second straight game, Blake Griffin is the player of the game. For the second straight game, Blake Griffin scored 31 points and 10 rebounds
QUOTABLE: Blake Griffin was asked, what is going to take from his game to get him ready against Kevin Garnett and the Celtics, "Of course a win feels good and gives us confidence, so there's that. But we just gotta work hard and practice."
HOT: The Clippers as a team hit 9 three pointers at 56%
NOT: Al-Farouq Aminu, who has been averaging around 20 points in the last few games, scored only 3 in this one on 1-4 shooting
GOOD MOVE: While the Bobcats were making their run in the 4Q, a Clippers TO lead to Derrick Brown in the open court for a dunk, but Al-Farouq Aminu got back and blocked the shot, he did foul Brown, but Brown would end up missing both free throws
BAD MOVE: After a DeAndre Jordan block, Blake Griffin leaked out ahead of the pack and all Wilson Chandler had to do was get the ball to him for a highlight dunk, instead he threw it off the back of a Bobcat and turned the ball over for an easy dunk the other way
Injuries: Kwame Brown was called for a blocking foul after taking a hit from Eric Gordon, he would land awkwardly and hurt his wrist on the play, he is listed as day-to-day

THE FACTS: The Celtics have veteran swagger, the Clippers have youth. With Rajon Rondo coming off a triple-double in their last game, this game was a hard fought battle that went back and forth and played tight with fouls, the Clippers came out on top in the 4Q. Blake Griffin would get into foul trouble early, but the Clippers youth of Eric Gordon, Eric Bledsoe, and Al-Faouq Aminu kept the Clippers ahead with large runs at the end of each quarter. The Celtics would play hard defense in the 4Q to get close. With Baron Davis in foul trouble and Gordon already logging in a lot of minutes, VDN decided to put in Rasual Butler in the 4Q. In 10 minutes of play, Butler scored 23 points by hitting 7 3PTs and blew the game open to put the Clippers up with a 19 point victory
THE STAT: The Clippers have now won 8 in a row at home, tying the LA franchise record for highest win streak at home.
QUOTABLE: Rasual Butler, "I know my role has lessen on this team and that's why it felt good to get out on the court. Once I hit a few I just decided to keep shooting before I have to go back to the bench!"
HOT: With Baron Davis in foul trouble and Eric Gordon already logging a lot of minutes, VDN decided to put Rasual Butler in the 4Q. Butler scored 23 points in 10 minutes hitting 7-10 3PT, included a stretch of 4 in a row
NOT: Celtics 3PT shooting, the team hit 7 3PTs, which is the same amount Rasual Butler made in the 4Q
GOOD MOVE: To start the 2Q, Al-Faouq Aminu got the steal which lead to Baron running out and finding Blake Griffin for a posterizing reverse jam on none other than Kevin Garnett
BAD MOVE: VDN subbed Baron Davis, with 3 fouls in, in the final minute of the 1st half, Rajon Rondo drew a costly 4th foul on him
