"Two days ago a guy called T.T. approached me. He gave me $20,000. He told me to keep the antidote a secret. He told me to meet him here tonight. But why? Does he work for some pharmaceuticals company? Is he a mafia man? How did he know about the antidote?"

Thoughts are popping in Jerome Barkhorn's mind. He knew he never told anyone about the antidote he had been making. He found the formulas in a briefcase on this table, in this restaurant, about a month ago. Yet this T.T. guy had obviously known about it. Jerome never remembered seeing a European-looking man in the restaurant the night he found the formulas. "Maybe someone told him about it? Or maybe he owned the briefcase I picked up?"

"If that was the case, T.T. would have been working or playing for the NBA. Then why would he need an antidote? Or maybe it wasn't an antidote at all, but a new performance-enhancing drug? There's no way in hell I'm gonna help a cheat like him." Barkhorn is currently considered by sportswriters as one of the top prospects this year. If he gets involved in a drug racket, he might not be able to join the league.

Barkhorn rose from his seat. He slowly walked towards the exit, threw the bottle of antidote he had with him onto a dumpster, and called a cab. "I'm going home. It's for my own good."

BLACK MAMBA STRIKES AGAIN



THE FACTS: The Black Mamba strikes again as his 43 points got them the victory and more importantly the Lakers and Clippers have switched in the standings. The Lakers are now 1st in the Pacific Division and 4th in the West, while the Clippers are now 2nd in the Division and 5th in the West. The game was tight throughout despite poor ball handling on both sides. A buzzer beater 3 pointer from Pau Gasol with Nick Young guarding him closely gave them an early 5 points lead, which would be the highest for either team most of the half. The Clippers collapsed in the final 2 minutes of the 2Q to allow the Lakers to lead by 9. In the 3Q The Clippers battled back and even was able to take the lead momentarily, but the Lakers veteran experience put them back up by the end of the quarter. In the 4Q the Clippers once again dug deep to keep the score close. Desperation 3 pointers cut leads and tied games for the Clippers, including a pair of 3 pointers from Eric Gordon to tie the game at 126 with only 4.4 seconds remaining. That was more than enough time for Kobe Bryant, who drained a 3 of his own in front of Eric Gordon with only 0.4 seconds remaining to seal the win. Gordon heaved up a full court shot in an attempt to force overtime, but the shot was well short.



THE STAT: The Clippers dominated the boards 46 to 35 but still lost

QUOTABLE: Eric Gordon, "All you can do is put a hand in his face and hope he misses. This time he didn't..."

HOT: Kobe Bryant took over in the 4Q to make sure the Lakers did not let the win escape them, he finished with 43 points including the game winning 3 pointer

NOT: Wilson Chandler, who has been scoring lately, was 2-10 both being 3 pointers during crucial moments of the game, but more scoring overall would have helped the Clippers more

GOOD MOVE: Blake Griffin got the ball on the break and out-ran Pau Gasol to have a clear shot at a reverse slam


BAD MOVE: With 1:30 seconds left in the game and the Lakers up 1, Kobe Bryant dribbled the ball of his foot for a TO, luckily he was able to redeem himself by making the game winner

YOUNG TAKES TIME AWAY FROM COURT

The Clippers have released a statement on their website that states Nick Young will not fly out with the team to Sacramento for their games against the Kings.

Sources say that Nick Young has asked to be allowed to step away from the team for a few days to handle some family issues. He has also asked for privacy on the issues with the media. The Clippers have approved the temporary leave and wish Nick Young the best. There is currently no timetable set for Nick Young to return, though sources all agree that Young should be back in action well before the playoffs assuming that the Clippers can hold on to a spot by the end of the season.

Rookie Willie Warren will be activated and may be expected to play more minutes during Nick Young's absence.

DDM, "Wake up!"

KJ, "Huh, what...?"

KJ opens his eyes to see DDM holding a gun to his face.

KJ, "Whoa!...So it's going to be like this...?"

DDM, "Haha, relax" As he puts the gun down on the table, "Thierry was really happy when I talked to him"

"It appears that the antidote worked and he even got to keep the money. That Barkhorn kid just threw the thing away without waiting for the money. Oh well, he lucked out."

KJ, "So what are you going to do now!?"

DDM, "Me? I'm not going to do nothing...."

DDM walks over to a radio and turns it on...

Radio,

"Tunn...Tun-Tunnn..."

"Ooohhh Wahhh Ahhh ahh...."

"Tunn...Tun-Tunnn..."

"Ooohhh Wahhh Ahhh ahh...."

"Tunn...Tun-Tunnn..."

"Ooohhh Wahhh Ahhh Ohh...."

KJ starts to shake, "NOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!"

DDM, "That's right. I am going to lock you in this room with the Beiber Fever! And the only way out....is this gun"

Suddenly the door is kicked in and police run inside with guns blazing.

Police, "Stop right there! Don't move! Omar Cook, you are under arrest for the kidnapping of KidJustin!"

The police handcuff DDM (now revealed as Omar Cook or OC)

George Koukoulis runs into the room and frees KJ from the chair.

KJ, "What took you so long!?"

GK, "Well...uhh...you see...."

KJ, "Never mind that, I have to tell you...Cook. He would be on the phone with..."

Radio,

"And I was like baby, baby, baby, oh"

GK, "WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT NOISE!?!?!"

GK grabs the gun and shoots the radio to stop the music. The police alertly draw their guns, but quickly puts them down as they put their focus back on Cook.

Then Thierry walks in, "Hey, I like that song.... Oh well. KidJustin, I'm glad we got here in time..."

KJ, "What the hell are you doing here!?"

GK, "Hey relax, Thierry helped get this whole rescue going. How else do you think we got all the money and connections to fly out here and save you?"

TT, "Yea that's right. When George told me the news, I was so worried and immediately put out a search to find you..."

KJ looks at Thierry in a very shady way, "Right....."

GK, "Yea, use international guys gotta stick together you know. Common, we got to get back. My Bulls are going to be in LA soon for our rematch. I got to make sure you get back by then to see Derrick Rose dunk all over Blake Griffin! Haha!"

KJ, "HA! Yea right!"

GK, KJ, and TT all get in the helicopter and fly back to the states while Omar Cook is being sent away with the police.

As they are boarding the helicopter TT whispers into KJ's ear, "We will just keep this little incident between you and me..right friend?"

CLIPS DETHRONE KINGS



THE FACTS: The Clippers traveled to Sacramento to face the Kings who were wearing their Rochster Royals throwbacks. They have been wearing these at home ever since speculations about the Maloof bothers moving the team to Anaheim and renaming them the Royals. Both teams were unconscious at the offensive end, scoring at will almost each trip down the floor. Each made basket by one team lead to a made basket by the other, keeping the game close through out the first half. Tyreke Evans was picking up the scoring load for the Kings as new acquisition, Mo Williams, struggled with his offense in the first half, having his only field goal on a goaltending call. For the Clippers, Baron Davis and Eric Gordon found themselves in foul trouble, and since they were already missing Nick Young, who is back in LA attending family matters, the Clippers were thin in the backcourt. Luckily rookie Eric Bledsoe stepped up with a career high 21 points and showed great confidence running the offense. The Clippers finally broke free in the 3Q leading by as many as 16 points, the Kings could not recover as the Clippers would come away with the win.

THE STAT: The Clippers had 8 players scoring in double figures

QUOTABLE: Baron Davis, "Bled really stepped it up tonight, I am...We are all proud of him."

HOT: Tyreke Evans was on a scoring binge starting with 13 points in the 1Q, 27 points by halftime, and finished with an amazing career high 42 points

NOT: Both teams were scoring at will this game, averaging near 30+ points each quarter, except for the Kings 3Q collapse when they scored only 19 points compared to the Clippers 39

GOOD MOVE: Eric Bledsoe received the ball in a crowd at half court on the break and somehow found a streaking Blake Griffin for a monster jam over Tyreke Evans

BREAKING NEWS: KIDJUSTIN FOUND AND RESCUED

Reports are coming in that Clippers GM KidJustin was found in Serbia-Montenegro and is currently being flown back to Los Angeles where doctors will evaluate his health.

Sources say that KidJustin was help captive by Omar Cook, a former NBA talent who is currently playing overseas since no NBA team would sign him. The exact reason is unknown, but some speculate that Cook has been holding a grudge since both of their days playing streetball against each other.

The Clippers organization actually heard the news during halftime of their road win against the Sacramento Kings, which would probably explain their tremendous 2nd half play to give them the win.

Assuming the doctors clear GM KidJustin, he is expected to be in attendance at Staples Center this Sunday when the Clippers face off against the visiting Chicago Bulls.
