And how's T-Mac in here?
BTW, this is my 2nd time posting.
Well,KidJustin has to take all the props for this trade as he's the GM of the Clippers.
I like T-Mac really much and he really has better shooting abilities than Bulls' original SGs,so he helps a lot, though I play Korver in the SG in crunch time...
February 9, Toyota Center
Chicago Bulls(27-6) @ Houston Rockets(21-19)
Bulls-Rockets notebook
Preview|Recap|Head To Head(click here)|
THE FACTS:Kevin Martin ,Yao Ming and Aaron Brooks combined for 70 points ,leading the Rockets on the win against the Chicago Bulls. Martin had 30 points,4 assists and 5 steals, while Yao and Brooks added 20 apiece, with the first having 8 rebounds,3 steals and 2 blocks and the latter adding 8 assists as well.
For Chicago,Luol Deng kept playing big.He had 29 points,4 assists and 3 steals, but again, his big game didn't lead the Bulls on a win.Derrick Rose with 25 points ,9 assists, 2 steals and 3 blocks was near a double double again, but despite his efforts, Rockets got the win.
THE STAT:Luis Scola and Yao Ming had 17 rebounds in total,1 more than the whole Bulls' team.Bulls got outrebounded in this contest, despite being a fairly good team on that sector, with players like Joakim Noah and Carlos Boozer on their paint.
TURNING POINT: With 3.50 remaining on the game,Rockets completed a 16-5 run to switch the game completely and take the lead in it.Despite the chances Bulls got to pass ahead,Rockets maintained their composure, and with the momentum on their side sealed the game from the Free Throw line.
HOT: Luol Deng and Kevin Martin really put on a show exchanging buckets all the time. The two players, who were both drafted in 2004(Deng 7th and Martin 26th),shot great, with Martin being 13-20 from the field and Deng being with an almost excellent 13-14 shooting, missing only one (desperation) three pointer at the end of the game!
ROOKIE WATCH:Patrick Paterson out of Kentucky was a total 0 on this match,as he didn't register a single stat, while Bulls' Greg Monroe scored 4 points,in a bad night for the two rookies.
NOT:Chicago Bulls had now lost 3 out of the last 4 games they've played.
THE MOMENT:Former Rocket,Tracy McGrady was booed by a lot of fans,by the time subbed in the game, in his return in Houston. He seemed affected by this as he scored only 4 points.
UP NEXT:February 13 @ Minnesota TimberwolvesFINAL SCORE:Houston Rockets - Chicago Bulls 103-101
Jordan Brand Player Of The Game:Kevin Martin
30 Points , 2 Rebounds , 4 Assists, 5 Steals
Highlight Reel
Yao scoring a lot of his points with the unstoppable hook shot!
Despite holding him down,Iverson couldn't stop Martin from scoring this amazing bucket!
Every time D-Rose storms on the open court, you're going to have something great to watch!!
Yes,every time!!
Deng is becoming a huge force for the Bulls lately...
While others would just tip the ball in,Noah decided to break the rim!!
karlsanada10 wrote:Oh T-Mac. I think he doesn't deserve to be booed.
Axel. wrote:Great to see my man K-Mart coming up big. Yao's hook shot is a big time cheese in the game; get it off within 5-8 feet and even the most perfect defense won't stop it because of his height.Pretty odd that him and Scola outrebounded your whole team, though.
