Ibaka makes history

Image

Oklahoma City, OK
Serge Ibaka, second year forward-center, made a history in a game against Portland Trail Blazers. Ibaka blocked 8 shots in first quarter, and was a fourth guy who did it, only Manute Bol, Dikembe Mutombo and Eric Dampier did it before. After hot start in first quarter he finished first with 13 points, 3 rebounds, 8 blocks and 3 steals. Ibaka's record was 8 blocks in one game, he tied it for third time but now with historical performance. He also set a new career high in points with 23.
Ibaka now is a third African player who blocked 8 shots in one quarter.
Ibaka averages 2.0 per game and is in fourth place in NBA, and first in blocks per 48 mins with 3.8.

So...would that make Dampier the only American who blocked 8 shots in a quarter?
I once had a decent signature, then it took an arrow to the knee.

KidJustin, Yeah, Cock was signed before Miami game I think, and Morrow is a very good shooter. And Matthews was assigned to D-League because he is injured with back spasms, day to day and I wanted to get Morrow back and I didn't had a space to get both in team and D-League playoffs is almost over and 66ers didn't made them :( So he is free now

Playoff race, last games

Postby Bucket on Fri Apr 08, 2011 1:44 am

Battle for playoffs
Image

Battle for the last playoffs spot in West

ImageImageImageImage

Phoenix Suns, Denver Nuggets, New Orleans Hornets and Memphis Grizzlies, good teams now will battle for the #7 and #8 seed in Western conference. Stronger chances have a Grizzlies, because they are #7 already and their last game is against weak Clippers without Blake Griffin and Chris Kaman, Clippers now is on another losing streak 4 games. New Orleans won Suns, Grizzlies and Jazz in last three games, and they are #8 now tied with Suns, next and last game for Hornets is against Dallas Mavericks. Mavs is a tough team at home, they are 33-7 this season. Next team is Phoenix Suns, tied with Hornets for #8 in West, but they lost Hornets 1-3 in season series and this is not good if your last game is against Spurs with healthy Duncan and Parker, sure they have a advantage - home court, but Suns is only 25-15 in home and 0-3 against Spurs. And last is Nuggets. Nuggets now is #10 in West, but 1 game behind Hornets and Suns. Nuggets lost to Thunder and then to Timberwolves and Golden State, and they will play their last game against Jazz in Salt Lake City. Nuggets leads season series 3-0 against Jazz, but Jazz is now on 5 game winning streak while Nuggets on 3 game losing streak.

NBA expert prediction:
#7 Grizzlies
#8 Hornets
#9 Suns
#10 Nuggets

Battle for the last playoffs spot in East

ImageImage

Now East. New York Knicks and Charlotte Bobcats. New York is #8 now while Bobcats is #9. Knicks now is 39-41, but Bobcats 38-43. New York Knicks last game is against east best Boston in TD Garden. Knicks losing season series against Celtics 0-3 and all was a blow out loses. Bobcats last game is against Hawks, Bobcats won 2 games and lost 1 in season series to Hawks. Hawks is #4 in East and on 8 win streak, but they are 20-20 on road.

NBA expert predction:
#8 Bobcats
#9 Knicks
