Streak: 1LAmerican Airlines Center - Dallas, TX Jan. 19, 2010 - 7:30 PM (PST) Matchups Jason Kidd PG Baron Davis Caron Butler SG Eric Gordon Wilson Chandler SF Wilson Chandler Blake Griffin PF Blake Griffin Tyson Chandler C DeAndre Jordan DIRK-LESS MAVS BLOW OUT CLIPPERS
THE FACTS: A very disappointing game for the Clippers as Caron Butler and Jason Terry lead the Mavericks to a solid victory without their leader Dirk Nowitzki, who just has surgery on his broken hand. Eric Gordon and Blake Griffin did their best to bring their team to victory, but without help all was lost. No other Clipper scored more than 8 points. The Mavericks controlled most of the game, but the Gordon and Griffin kept working at it getting the team as close as 2 points, but never actually catching up. The Clippers also gave up a 23-6 run in the 3Q and a 21-3 run in the 4Q at times when they had a chance to catch up.
THE STAT: The help: Bench Points Mavericks 42 vs Clippers 15
For the Clippers, Gordon had 41 and Griffin had 38, the next highest score was 8 by Wilson Chandler
For the Mavericks, Lead by Butler (31) and Terry (25), there were 4 other teammates in double figures scoring
QUOTABLE: Baron Davis, "This was very disappointing. Very disappointing. We just flat out didn't execute..."
HOT: Eric Gordon did continue his hot shooting beyond the arc connecting on 7 for 13
NOT: Clippers 2nd half: Early in the 3Q they allowed a 23-6 run and mid-way in the 4Q they allowed a 21-3 run
GOOD MOVE: Eric Gordon pump fakes Jason Kidd in the air, drives to the basket, spins away from Tyson Chandler, and then dunks (and-1) on Jason Terry
BAD MOVE: With the Clippers down by 9 in the final seconds of the first half, Baron casually receives a pass with 10 seconds left. Jason Kidd steps in and steals the ball going the other way, Jerry Stackhouse fouls him and Kidd hits 2 Free throws to put the lead back at 11.

Jan. 20, 2011 - 11:34 pm. A restaurant in Shoreside Vale, Liberty City.
Jerome Barkhorn, a college basketball player, is waiting for his usual order of burger and fries when he spotted a small briefcase in the empty seat next to him. Out of curiosity, JB grabbed the briefcase, opened it up, and looked inside. One particular paper caught his attention. It was written on a scrap of paper with what looked like an NBA logo in one corner, and various chemical formulas written on it. Being a Pharmaceutical Baking major, JB immediately recognized some of the formulas and thought to himself, "Maybe it was a doctor or a chemist who left this. After all, it seems like he could be making some kind of antidote."
CURRY TO MISS GAME AGAINST THE LAKERS
The Clippers have released a statement on their website that states Eddy Curry will not attend the LA Lakers vs LA Clippers game.
Sources say that after a tough loss to the Mavericks in Dallas, Eddy Curry boarded the wrong plane and flew to Liberty City instead of back home in Los Angeles. The Clippers had reportedly sent the company plan to pick him up there, but they could not find him until a local NBA fan reported sighting Eddy Curry at local restaurant in Shoreside Vale.
Eyewitnesses on the scene say things turned violent as Eddy Curry refused to leave until he had finished his 300 burger meal. Rumor has it that a tranquilizer as needed to sedate Curry and forklift him back to the plane. Rumors...
Eddy Curry is not on the active list and should not effect the Clippers rotation.

THE FACTS: A game between two hallway rivals went back and forth from the very beginning. The Lakers veteran experience did their best to contain Blake Griffin, who ended his streak of 35+ point games tonight. Girffin had trouble on offense as well as foul trouble. Luckily Eric Gordon showed up to play, and play big. He torched Kobe for 31 points in the first half and at the same time only allow Kobe to get 5 points. In the second half however, Kobe came back to lead the charge. The Clippers kept in the game matching point for point, but with another night when Blake Griffin and Eric Gordon were the only bright stars on the Clippers side, the Lakers would prevail as they were more successful as a team. The Clippers are still on top of the west, but they may find trouble if no one will step up to help their duo of Eric Gordon and Blake Griffin.
THE STAT: Battle of the Shooting Guards Eric Gordon made Kobe Bryant work very hard in the first half as he torched him for 31 points...55 total by the end of the game, a new career high and franchise record and at the same time only allowed Kobe to score 5 points. After the half however, Kobe came back and scored 39 in the 2nd half to put the Lakers only 1 game behind the Clippers in the win column.
QUOTABLE: VDN, "We stopped Kobe in the 1st half and let Pau do his thing...we were fine. Then we stopped Pau in the 2nd half and then Kobe went crazy on us..."
HOT: Battle of the Shooting Guards. Kobe Bryant scored 44 and Eric Gordon scored 55. That is 99 combines points in their battle.
NOT: Wilson Chandler continues to struggle shooting 2-12 and 0-3 from deep.
GOOD MOVE: From the jump the Lakers looked to be in charge making everything hard for Blake Griffin. Well Blake got his first points on a drive to the basket and dunked on 3 Lakers! Lamar Odom, Kobe Bryant, and Pau Gasol all in in poster
BAD MOVE: Late in the 4Q the Clippers were down 4 and Baron tried to feed Blake in the middle, but he did not see Kobe Bryant sneak in and steal the ball...which lead to final possessions of the game:Kobe Bryant steal 126-122
