BULLS MOVE BOGANS ACQUIRE A DRAFT PICK

Bulls new GM George K was not done after acquiring former superstar Tracy McGrady, he went all the way to the nation's capital to send little used guard Keith Bogans in exchange for a 1st round draft pick.

The Wizards hope that their tweaked team will help improve their chance in the East by adding veteran Keith Bogans to help offset youngster Manny Harris. Whether the Wizards are done trading is unknown since both Kirk Hinrich and Josh Howard have been involved in trade rumors as well.

agreed, but to put things in perspective....

IRL
between Mid-December and end of January...the Clippers were the hottest team in the NBA going 14-7
...of those 21 games, 13 were at home...going 11-3...including a 8 straight at home
during this time...Eric Gordon and Blake Griffin (mainly Blake) made their mark as LEGIT nba talents

in my association,
During the month of November 6 home games, 4 road games...going 10-3...the road games were split 2-2 and the homes games were 5-1
During the month of December there were 6 home games, 0 road games.....going 6-0

so technically...my Blake Griffin Clippers team is doing just as the RL Blake Griffin Clippers team, except you remove the bad 1-13 start and jump straight to when the Clippers were a really good home team

also in comparison...IRL the Clippers went on an 11-game road trip in Febuary...and did terrrrrible...
in my association, when i get to febuary...i only have like 1 or 2 home games...and the rest of the way has less and less home games
...so you have to tune in next month n see how the Clippers fair on their road trip to get a better gauge

CLIPPERS OWN BLAZERS IN THE 2ND HALF



THE FACTS: While the Clippers, lead by Blake Griffin showed their dominance in the paint, the Blazers just kept grinding their way to stay close in this game. Blake Griffin and Eric Gordon dominated the first half, Eric scored the Clippers final 10 points to close out the half for a 3 point lead, thanks to a buzzer beater 3-pointer. Not to be out done, Wes Matthews did his part of the Blazers with 20 first half points off the bench, including 4 3-pointers. The Clippers blew the game wide open in the 3Q shooting 66% as opposed to 40%, 3 point game into a 16 point game. Blake Griffin scored 14 points in the 3Q alone. With a 21 point lead in the 4Q at the 8 minute mark, Coach VDN went with the team bench to close out the game.

THE STAT: Blazers had 56 bench points compared to the Clippers 18

QUOTABLE: Brandon Roy, "You can't sleep on the Clippers anymore, they are a legit team. I thought we played well, but wow. Blake Griffin and the team really dominated in the second half. If they keep playing like this I'm not sure any team can stop them."

HOT: Blake Griffin with another 35+ point performance (5 in a row)

NOT: Marcus Camby, Greg Oden, and Brandon Roy were all in foul trouble through out the game

GM KidJustin receives a phone call from a mystery person, "Hello...?"

Mystery person, "It's me again..."

KJ, "What do you want now...!?"

MP, "I overacted last time, we cool?"

KJ, "Mmm...right....."

MP, "Well anyway, that favor we talked about..."

KJ, "Yea..?"

MP, "I'm calling in for it now...I got this kid, he needs a job..."

KJ, "And how does that involve me...?"

MP, "Look, he started here in my organization, but even though he I wasn't officially a part of the organization when he was here, I knew him. He's a good kid. He's stopping by your facility tomorrow, give him a work out if you want. But I want you to give him a contract."

KJ, "Some nobody a contract? I don't think so. I'm not ruining my team's chemistry..."

MP, "Hey! This was part of our deal...unless you have forgotten..."

KJ, "Naw...I remember....Look I gotta talk to Donald, but I'll see what I can do..."

THE FACTS: With Nick Young out indefinitely, the Clippers have signed athletic swingman James White to a 10-day contract. The Suns showed that they are still a very very fast team as they got out ahead early, scoring 41 points in the 1Q. The Clippers were able to inch closer and closer by drawing fouls and going to the free throw line, but each time the Suns would answer. A devastating 45 point 3Q by the Suns made it hard on the Clippers. Despite another strong performance from Blake Griffin, the Clippers offense was unable to attack as fast and as often as the Suns.

THE STAT: Blake Griffin scored 39 points in this loss, he currently has 6 games in a row scoring 35 or more points

QUOTABLE: Blake Griffin, "We just got to keep playing hard...."

HOT: The Phoenix Suns had two quarters where they scored 40+ points

NOT: The Clippers lost in every single stat category compared to the Suns, except 3 point shooting

GOOD MOVE: After DeAndre Jordan converted a 3-point play to start the 3Q and put the Clippers within 1, the Phoenix Suns hit 3 straight 3 pointers and a pair of free throws to securely put their lead back up to 12.

BAD MOVE: After the Clippers pulled within single digits, the Suns put it back up to 15. On a break Baron Davis got back and was positioned to take the charge, but was called for a blocking foul and an and-1 for Vince Carter to put the Suns up by 18.

Clippers training facility in Playa Vista

Ben Wallace angrily takes a swing at James White, who just ducked out of the way in the nick of time.

Craig "Rhino" Smith and Blake Griffin gets in between the two players as the rest of the Clippers quickly gathers.

GM KidJustin and Coach VDN, who were in a meeting run toward the ruckus.

VDN, "WHAT IS GOING ON HERE!?"

KidJustin, "Someone better speak up up or everyone here is going to be suspended for the Thunder game!"

Ben Wallace, "THIS FOOL IS A THIEF!"

James White, "Who ya callin' a thief old man!? You prob just forgetting and shizz. Go take your pills, yo!"

Ben Wallace jumps at James White, but Craig Smith holds him back

KidJustin, "Both of you cool it! Blake, what happened..."

Blake, "Well Big Ben brought over his championship ring to show us. You know keep us motivated. Well after our drills, Big Ben went to go get it and now he can't find it."

James White, "Yea 'cause he left it with his dentures!"

Ben Wallace, "Shut it fool! You know you took it, you ungrateful thief! I don't even know why your on this team. We don't need you and your sorry game!"

James White, "Yo momma got sorry game!"

Just then Ben Wallace takes a swing at James White, but KidJustin tries to stop him, but accidentally takes the hit and is knocked out cold

KidJustin is dazed on a stretcher with paramedics around him, "Uhh....what...happen...??"

VDN, "Haha, you took one for the team...don't worry they are taking you to the hospital, just relax. We're taking care of it."

KidJustin, "Wait....who's going to ride with me in the ambulance?"

VDN, "uhh..."

KidJustin, "....get the Clipper Spirit..."

James White, "Yea, it's done..."
