IMO, for the injuries and for the rumors, everything else is great.
BULLS MOVE BOGANS ACQUIRE A DRAFT PICK
Bulls new GM George K was not done after acquiring former superstar Tracy McGrady, he went all the way to the nation's capital to send little used guard Keith Bogans in exchange for a 1st round draft pick.
The Wizards hope that their tweaked team will help improve their chance in the East by adding veteran Keith Bogans to help offset youngster Manny Harris. Whether the Wizards are done trading is unknown since both Kirk Hinrich and Josh Howard have been involved in trade rumors as well.
Incoming: F Cartier Martin (WAS 1YR/$859K), 2011 1st Round Draft Pick (WAS)
Incoming: G Keith Bogans (CHI 1YR/$1.60M)

BLAKE GRIFFIN SETS NEW TEAM RECORD OF MOST POINTS IN A GAME
THE FACTS: To ring in the New Year, the best played against the worst. The Sixers have the worst record in the league, with this loss extending their losing streak to 4 games. While on the other side, the Clippers have been the best team in the West and have just set a new franchise record of 12 straight home wins Former Clippers Elton Brand shot very well to keep them close in the game early on, but that was when Blake was struggling. Once Blake turned it on late in the 1Q and in the 2Q, the lead became harder and harder for the Sixers to overcome. The Sixers gave a scare in the 4Q getting as close as 5 points, but Blake and his career night did not let the comeback happen.
THE STAT: Points in the Paint: Clippers 84, Sixers 52
QUOTABLE: Blake Griffin on his career and record setting night, "I just have to thank my team. We played well and they trusted me to have the ball in my hands; I didn't want to disappoint my teammates. It was a team effort to get the win and that's what matters most."
HOT: Blake Griffin scored 53 points, a new Clippers franchise record team high, his 4th game in a row with 30 or more points
NOT: Blake Griffin's career night was slightly lessened by a poor 9-22 FT shooting
GOOD MOVE: Role Reversal: While Griffin was struggling in the 1Q with only 2 points, in the final 3 minutes he scored 10 straight points then on the fast break threw an alley-oop to Eric Gordon
BAD MOVE: Eric Bledsoe had a steal and a break away layup, but was blocked from behind by Jrue Holiday

THE FACTS: While the Clippers, lead by Blake Griffin showed their dominance in the paint, the Blazers just kept grinding their way to stay close in this game. Blake Griffin and Eric Gordon dominated the first half, Eric scored the Clippers final 10 points to close out the half for a 3 point lead, thanks to a buzzer beater 3-pointer. Not to be out done, Wes Matthews did his part of the Blazers with 20 first half points off the bench, including 4 3-pointers. The Clippers blew the game wide open in the 3Q shooting 66% as opposed to 40%, 3 point game into a 16 point game. Blake Griffin scored 14 points in the 3Q alone. With a 21 point lead in the 4Q at the 8 minute mark, Coach VDN went with the team bench to close out the game.
THE STAT: Blazers had 56 bench points compared to the Clippers 18
QUOTABLE: Brandon Roy, "You can't sleep on the Clippers anymore, they are a legit team. I thought we played well, but wow. Blake Griffin and the team really dominated in the second half. If they keep playing like this I'm not sure any team can stop them."
HOT: Blake Griffin with another 35+ point performance (5 in a row)
NOT: Marcus Camby, Greg Oden, and Brandon Roy were all in foul trouble through out the game
GOOD MOVE: Dunk of the Year II: With the Clippers down 2 late in the 2Q, Eric Gordon blows up Rudy Fernandez and dunks over two Blazers for an and-1 slam dunk
BAD MOVE: Early in the 2Q with Nick Young leading the break, he kicked it out to an open Baron Davis, who would throw up a 3 pointer...but it would end up an air ball
Injuries: After the game Nick Young was reported to have injured his Achilles and will be out indefinitely

THE FACTS: With Nick Young out indefinitely, the Clippers have signed athletic swingman James White to a 10-day contract. The Suns showed that they are still a very very fast team as they got out ahead early, scoring 41 points in the 1Q. The Clippers were able to inch closer and closer by drawing fouls and going to the free throw line, but each time the Suns would answer. A devastating 45 point 3Q by the Suns made it hard on the Clippers. Despite another strong performance from Blake Griffin, the Clippers offense was unable to attack as fast and as often as the Suns.
THE STAT: Blake Griffin scored 39 points in this loss, he currently has 6 games in a row scoring 35 or more points
QUOTABLE: Blake Griffin, "We just got to keep playing hard...."
HOT: The Phoenix Suns had two quarters where they scored 40+ points
NOT: The Clippers lost in every single stat category compared to the Suns, except 3 point shooting
GOOD MOVE: After DeAndre Jordan converted a 3-point play to start the 3Q and put the Clippers within 1, the Phoenix Suns hit 3 straight 3 pointers and a pair of free throws to securely put their lead back up to 12.
BAD MOVE: After the Clippers pulled within single digits, the Suns put it back up to 15. On a break Baron Davis got back and was positioned to take the charge, but was called for a blocking foul and an and-1 for Vince Carter to put the Suns up by 18.
Injuries: Antione Walker collided with Craig "Rhino" Smith in the 2Q and to leave the game with a lower back strain. He is listed as out for 1-2 weeks
Steve Nash bruised his hip in the 4Q and did not return
