THE FACTS: The Lakers and the Heat matched up this Christmas wearing their Latin jerseys. The Lakers lead for most of the game, mainly because of their hot shooting from beyond the arc. LeBron got into early foul trouble causing Wade and Bosh to do most of the scoring in the 1Q, but in the 1Q LeBron came in and scored 14 points to keep the Heat within 4 points. In the 3Q, Kobe and RJ blew the game open with the Lakers leading as much as 15 points. But LeBron and Bosh quickly got the score closer, and one point within 1 point. LeBron and Bosh put up 35 and 34, but Kobe Bryant did not let them lose control as he went on to score 41 points in the game to go along with Pau and RJ scoring 23 each and seal it in the 4Q. Wade, because of foul trouble only scored 18 points.
THE STAT: Kobe Bryant's defense kept Dwyane Wade to score only 18 points.
Leaders at the Half:
HOT: Richard Jefferson was one fire from beyond the arc hitting 4-4
NOT: The Miami Heat could not take of the ball to save their lives, they had 21 TO in the game. Some of them simple mishandles and missed passes
GOOD MOVE: When the Lakers were making their stand in the 2Q, LeBron James got the ball on a break away with only Kobe Bryant behind to defend. James rose up and posterized Kobe Bryant for the and-1
BAD MOVE: When Dwyane Wade got his 4th foul in the final minutes of the 3Q, Heat Coach Spo decided to leave him in. On the very next play Kobe drew Wade's 5th foul forcing him to sit until late in the 4Q. Wade finished with only 18 points

NICK YOUNG RETURNS TO LA
The Clippers have just acquired former USC guard Nick Young today in a 3-team trade that sent Randy Foye to Cleveland and Manny Harris to Washington. GM KidJustin said that he loved Foye's scoring abilities but he wanted someone with some more size as Eric Gordon is already shorter than the average 2Guard.
Cleveland has been needing a scoring punch off the bench ever since they saw first hand how bad they could be when their main offensive stars were shut down. Naturally they jumped at the chance to acquire one of the players that had to do with the beating they took. Foye, just coming back from an injury he got playing against these Cavs should help keep their Cinderella season alive as he will help them score off the bench.
On the other side, Washington gets a nice young prospect in Manny Harris. He may not have the same offensive game as Young, but at least he wont complain about playing time behind early season acquisition Allen Iverson.
Incoming: G Nick Young (WAS 1YR/$2.24M)
Incoming: G Randy Foye (LAC 2YR/$8.40M - $4.20M '10-'11)
Incoming: G Manny Harris (CLE 1YR/$856K)

Streak: 3LStaples Center - Los Angeles, CA Dec. 29, 2010 - 7:30 PM (PST) Matchups Baron Davis PG Deron Williams Eric Gordon SG CJ Miles Wilson Chandler SF Andrei Kirilenko Blake Griffin PF Paul Millsap DeAndre Jordan C Al Jefferson GRIFFIN AND GORDON TUNE OUT JAZZ
THE FACTS: The Clippers hot shooting continued in this game which allowed them to get into an early lead. The lead would only grow larger as Deron Williams would get into foul trouble, but once he returned in the 2Q, the Jazz were able to get back into the game. However, Blake Griffin and Eric Gordon controlled the game wire-to-wire as each of them scored 35 points. The Jazz would make one last push late in the game, but again the Clippers would come out on top. Nick Young made his debut this game and it was a solid one scoring 16 points off the bench in 16 minutes.
THE STAT: The Jazz had no answer in the middle giving up 74 points in the paint and if they weren't giving up points, they were fouling, allowing the Clippers 30 FTA
QUOTABLE: Nick Young on his debut, "I am truly blessed to be back in LA, I played with John Wall in Washington and now I am playing with Blake Griffin in my hometown. I am very thankful for the Clippers for showing this much interest to bring me to this team."
HOT: For the 3rd straight game Blake Griffin has scored 35+ points. He was named Player of the Week (along with Derrick Rose) last week.
NOT: The Jazz shot a terrible 1-11 from 3PT in the 1st half, lead by CJ Miles 1-7
*luckily CJ Miles turned it around and hit 5-5 in the 2nd half to improve to a 8-13 3PT shooting for the team or else it would have been much uglier
GOOD MOVE: Blake Griffin with a quick first step blew by Al Jefferson and continued to throw down a windmill jam over Paul Millsap
BETTER MOVE: Another Blake Griffin quick step to a monster dunk, this time with the foul and a celebration
BEST MOVE: Baron Davis poked it away from Deron Williams which set up this off the backboard alley-oop!
BAD MOVE: Eric Gordon got a clear path to the basket and elevated for the dunk, but Andrei Kirilenko stepped in way to late and got the foul on a very dangerous play that sent Eric Gordon crashing down. Luckily no players were injured.
