THE FACTS: The Pistons defense showed to be a major problem for Blake Griffin, Eric Gordon, and the Clippers early on. The Clippers, lead by Eric Gordon's 36 Points, most of which coming in the second half and Blake Griffin's 1st career triple-double (26 Points, 12 Rebounds, 11 Assists) would claw their way back into the game. But a Pistons run capped off with a Ben Gordon 3 to tie the game in the final moments that helped push the game into OT, where the Piston's veteran defense prevailed.
THE STAT: Led by Rip Hamilton's 20 points, the Pistons bench out scored the Clippers bench 53 to 30
QUOTABLE: Ben Gordon, "We thought we had them in the first [quarter], but they really showed their toughness and got back in the game. Luckily we were stayed poised and pulled in out in the end. The Clippers are a young team, just give them time.
HOT: With Rodney Stuckey injured, Will Bynum hit a layup to force OT with only 0.9 seconds left in the game. He also had a career high 25 assists
NOT: Clippers 1Q and OT. Clippers were held to only 19 1st QT points on 22% shooting, and then held to only 8 Points on 42% shooting in OT. Pistons shot 81% and scored 21 points to seal the victory in OT.
GOOD MOVE: The Pistons kept Blake away from the paint most of the game (esp. in the first half) by having him guard stretch forwards in Villanueva and Jerebko
BAD MOVE: Clippers had a 9 point lead with 2 minutes left in the game. They let the Pistons go on a 14-5 run to tie the game and allow the Pistons to win it in OT
Injuries: Tayshuan Prince did not dress, he is still out with a shoulder injury
Tracy McGrady has been hurt with a strained hamstring, but was able to play tonight. He logged 10 minutes and scored 3 points
Jonas Jerebko twisted his ankle early in the 1Q after being called for a loose ball foul. He returned and had a major put back dunk that kept the Pistons hopes alive
Rodney Stuckey collided with DeAndre Jordan and Strained his Achilles in the 1Q. He did not returned and may be out for 2-4 weeks

ARTEST AND DENG INVOLVED IN TRADE RUMORS
The LA Lakers have made it known that they are actively shopping forward Ron Artest.
Artest said he was "surprised" by trade talks, but also said that he would "play for any team"
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Rumors have been going around about the Bull's Loul Deng's availability.
One rumor has him trading places with former Bull Ben Gordon, currently of the Detroit Pistons.
George7 wrote:You had to win it there bro!!Really bad move letting this slip away! And allowing 140 from a team which is not considered an offensive powerhouse it's not a good thing. You have to strengthen your D,and Ron Artest won't be a bad choice in fact!
George7 wrote:Well, having the first 5-6 players' stats of each team will be ok.I won't probably care that much for a full boxscore.
