 phoniex has Nash, Miller, Dragic !?

they might as well hire don nelson and play some nellie ball!

but i suppose getting Harris and then trading him (or Miller or Dragic) can get you better pieces than trading Childress...oh well

I say....flip a coin on the game....
i would pick Heat just to go against the lakers...but then playing a hurt Kobe vs the Big 2 & Bosh might be more intersting...
or maybe u should make it player lock and people can vote on if u control Kobe or Wade (or LeBron or Artest? i guess)
...or maybe play the road team and try to pull an upset?

KidJustin, I'm going to think more on what to do with the Heat @ Lakers game.
That player lock is nice idea (Y).I might considered it as well.

Derrick Rose wins the battle of the Point Guards,as Bulls emerge victorious from D.C.

The Chicago Bulls won on a really tough match-up,with Rose-Wall's battle being on the spotlight. The two sensational Point Guards provided some great highlight plays on a low scoring match, but with a lot of thrill to the end.

It was a match when Chicago had the control on the whole game, and it seemed that they would have an easy night on the Verizon Center, but they counted out a well-known figure; Kirk Hinrich. Captain Kirk,a really loved figure on Chicago, was lights out on the last minutes, when both teams were loose and with 7 points without answer,he got the lead cut down to a tie with 1.54 remaining . Bulls' squad was clearly shocked from that situation, and found themselves in a tough situation, when their total control of the game and the big lead was vanished in just a couple of minutes. After that Derrick Rose scored a really tough basket against Gilbert Arenas, and gave the Bulls again a 2-point lead with 1.24 remaining, making the score 76-74.

With both teams struggling to score on the next minute the ball went to Arenas, with 22 seconds remaining.Arenas hold the ball too much and took a 3 pointer but he missed it ,giving the Bulls the chance to rebound the ball, and the tough win, extending their winning streak to 5 unbeaten, and taking the 1st record on the power ranking, after surpassing OKC's 9-3 record.

Rose scored 18 points and had 7 assists on a solid performance.Korver added 10 pts and 6 boards, while Deng had one less rebound.Monroe did his best game since he was traded to the Bulls, with 9 points,2 rebounds and 4-4 FG.T-Mac and and injured Boozer added 8 points,3 rebounds and 2 steals, with T-Mac having 3 assists as well. Iverson had 5 points on a mediocre game.Gibson had 4 points,Watson added 3,while Joakim Noah had only 1 point, with 7 rebounds,3 assists,1 steal and 1 block.

Javale McGee had a monsterous game for the Wizards, with 14 points and 14 rebounds ,along with 4 blocks.John Wall had 13 points,3 assists and 5 steals, but he committed 4 TOs, 3 on the last quarter.Kirk Hinrich had 12 points,2 rebounds,2 steals and 2 assists,on a really mature game, showing that he still had things to offer to the Bulls.Josh Howard added 11 points and 6 rebounds, while Gilbert Arenas and Yi Jianlian were close to double figures.Arenas had 8 points and 8 assists, while Yi had 8 points with 9 rebounds and 4 blocks.Young added 4 points, while Thabeet and Booker had 2 points.

Bulls, will now host the San Antonio Spurs on the United Center,on the 1st game of a 5-game home stand.Spurs are now standing 6th on the West, being 7-6 so far. Clearly a better opponent for the Bulls, than the Washington Wizards, but clearly they have a noticable disadvantage over Thibodeau's squad,as their playing on the United Center. Washington Wizards are 3-10 ,and clearly things aren't going well,as this affects team chemistry as well with a clear need for a reboot. They'll now host the Nuggets, and another loss is on the sight for Wall and Arenas' team.

FINAL SCORE:Chicago Bulls @ Washington Wizards 76-74

T-Mac's clutch dunk gives Bulls the win; Rose drops career high 43

Chicago Bulls had a really hard night as they hosted San Antonio Spurs, and we all know that this team is a really tough nut to crack. But anyone minutes before the tip at the United Center couldn't though that they would have been that tough. The match was a close from the beginning, and it proved to be a nail bitter.
Chicago had the lead on the whole game, and even found themselves winning by 20 on the 3rd quarter, after a 15-2 run on ,which though vanished as quickly as it occurred, and the game returned again to its closely contested form.

On the 4th quarter San Antonio made another run,and with 3 minutes on the clock ,the made the score 83-83.After that both teams were trading leads all the way ,and with 25 seconds ,Manu Ginobili scored and amazing 3 pointer over McGrady's open arms making the score 92-91 for the Spurs. With little time remaining, all were sure that the ball would go over to Derrick Rose, who scored all the points for the Bulls after the 83-83 score mark.Derrick Rose was double teamed, and gave an amazing back door pass to T-Mac, who was cutting behind Spurs' defense, and with a dunk over Duncan gave Bulls the lead.On the last chance for the Spurs to steal the game, the ball was given to Manu Ginobili ,who took a mid range shot, which though bounced against the rim and went out,Rose got the rebound and threw the ball away.

Bulls won again on a close margin, showing that they have many clutch players on their roster, and playing again maturely.Though it has to be noted that they tend to make a really bad start on the 4th quarter, which helps the opponents to score many points and cut down the lead Bulls have.

Chicago might be on a red hot start ,being 11-2 after a successful Circus trip, but there's still chances of getting better. As it is reported, the Chicago Bulls will trade bench warmer SG, Keith Bogans(65),who has to play on a game from mid November, for Wizards' Cartier Martin(64), and most important, for a first round Draft Pick on the next draft.

Both teams are benefited from this trade,as Washington gets an experienced veteran to fill the SG position where they have only T.Young, while Chicago Bulls will get a lot younger player for their bench, while they will get a solid 1st round pick, from a team which is struggling so far,and can get into the lottery.

King Dee, thanks. I know Bogans is better than Martin, but trading away a useless piece for a great draft pick will work well for me. I really need more the pick than Bogans.

Next game recap in some minutes.

Boozer and Rose's Huge Performances Lead Bulls to a 4th Quarter Party Over Cavs

This game was a close contested one from it's beginning to the start of the 4th. But when Chicago Bulls decided to gear up, it turned over to a scoring party for the home side! Both sides were close on the first 3 quarters and it ended with a 2-point lead for the Bulls. The Cavs seemed to find an answer for everything Chicago did on the game, and behind Jamison's 12 on the 3rd they even took a 5 point lead, with 2 minutes before the end of the 3rd.McGrady though, scored some quick points, and after a fastbreak score Bulls took a 2 point to end the quarter. No one realized though that the game will be ended soon.

An amazing performance by the Bulls on the 4th,was the story of the game. With a 16-4 run on the first 5 minutes and with the Cavs outscored 32-19 by the Bulls on the 4th,there was nothing to be done to prevent the loss.Amazing performance by Carlos Boozer and the Bulls bench, especially Korver, on the 4th quarter provided them a solid game. Booze score 12 of his 26 on that quarter, while Korver added 8 points. Derrick Rose was expected to have an amazing game on the assisting part of the game,as he had 9 assists on the half, and recorded a double double on the 2nd minute of the 3rd,but he didn't need to step up that much on the rest of the game, and added only 4 assists and 6 points on the 2nd half.

Chicago seems to be on an amazing form, and with many of their players playing great on the game. Boozer is clearly back from his injury ,which kept him on limited minutes lately, while Rose keeps being the MVP for the Bulls so far.T-Mac and AI are resurrected on the Bulls, while Korver,Deng, Noah and Gibson, prove to be some solid picks as the Bulls supporting cast.

Final Score:Chicago Bulls - Cleveland Cavaliers 104-88

about the trade...

i think the Wizards only have N. Young (Nick) T. Young (Thaddeus) is a SF and a sixer

other than that...i like the move for a 1st rounder (Y) the youth movement at the SG spot is starting
Bogans out possibly lottery pick SG in (next year)

oh and Cartier Martin is cool too

Despite AI's great night, Wolves cruise past Bulls on the road

An absurd second quarter from the Bulls, far worse from what we all expected gave Minnesota the easy win today.Being outscored 35-20 on the 2nd quarter gave the Wolves a huge lead going into the halftime, which eventually couldn't be turned over. Bulls had their best player so far, Derrick Rose, on foul troubles, being unable to play on the 2nd quarter, having 3 fouls already, while he had 5 with just 2 minutes into the 3rd. Despite that, Rose managed to score 15 points and dish 4 assists in the 1st half(scoring only 3 on the 2nd Q).

Allen Iverson stepped up at his place, and after a good 3rd period,Bulls stormed out on the last quarter and managed ,without Rose, to come back on the game, trailing by only 5 points, after starting the 4th with a 18-point loss, with 1 minute left! Bad luck though was again among the Bulls, and their bad shooting continued on this crucial moments, and Minnesota managed to get an amazing win over league's best team on the road. Darko Milicic was the only player from Timberwolves who didn't score.

"Those things just happen."Said Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau "We can't win all the games.Though we had a really bad second quarter, mostly on defense, allowing 35 points."he added " We are going to work on this on practices, and get ready for the next games"

"We're really happy to win this one that way"said Wolves' game MVP, Corey Brewer " Our team played some serious game of hoops out there, and we're satisfied to see that we're winning, and that we're 2nd on the West as well!"
