Reports from the league confirm that a deal between Detroit Pistons and Chicago Bulls for a trade has been made. The Chicago Bulls will trade away Ronnie Brewer,Kurt Thomas and Brian Scalabrine for 31-year old veteran Tracy McGrady,28-year old Center Chris Wilcox and 20-year old Rookie from Georgetown,Greg Monroe.
Chicago Bulls got a far more experienced player for the SG position on the face of T-Mac,though losing the explosiveness of Brewer, but strengthen by far their center Position, after acquiring the solid and powerfull rookie(Selected with the 7th pick on the 2010 NBA draft) Monroe, and the experienced Chris Wilcox, who is though expected to be placed on the Inactive List.
Detroit Pistons are getting a much younger SG to form a great trio on the SG position with an athletic guard,Brewer, a great shooter,Ben Gordon, and a great all-around player and leader,RIP Hamilton.Kurt Thomas is expected to help on the PF position and cover as well the gap Wilcox and Monroe left on the C,while Scalabrine is expected to be the mascot of the team, placed in the Inactive List, and waiting patiently for a chance"I'm too happy to be here on Chicago. The truth is that I've made some practices with the team, but they didn't sign me on the pre-season.Now the circumstances got me here, and I'm sure that along with A.I. I can help the team really much.Allen will help me integrate well with the rest of the team and as we know each other we can work along really well. I'm also happy to play with a great squad with players like D-Rose,an All-Star,and Joakim Noah,a player who dominates on every move on the paint." Said T-Mac"This move is just great for us.Acquiring T-Mac will be great,as our SG position is now filled with players with loads of experience,as Allen,Tracy and Keith are.I also wanted to keep the chemistry of the team as good as I can ,and i believe I have achieved this as well.About the other two players who came here.Greg Monroe is an amazing choice for the team,as he's a really young prospect and I expect him, along with Noah's tutoring to perform great on the Center spot and form an amazing and powerful team on the paint with those 2 lads.Wilcox on the other hand,is an experienced player, who still has things to offer to us and I'm sure in the minutes he will be called to play,he will offer his 100%" Said Bulls' GM George Koukoulis, who when asked for the reasons of this trade, despite team being so good on the start and being on a huge road trip, said:"Well, some things have their reasons.I just want to tell ,that this trade had to be done,in order for teams' good and in order for us to be even better"
Tracy McGrady and Chris Wilcox have 1-year contracts, while Greg Monroe has 2 years along with 2 years Team Option.

Wilcox
at this stage...Wilcox is washed up...maybe he can be a surprise
Monroe will definitely be a good boost....assuming he can get minutes behind Noah/Boozer/Gibson
T-Mac I like...but when you have Iverson and moved your SG of the future....seems like a glut of the same kind of talent....
this really seems like a move for right now, clearing cap space maybe? u dont need Melo when u have Deng....
maybe a CP3 D-Rose backcourt???![]()
either way, hope u pick up a young SG along the way (unless ur putting it all on Korver...which could work i guess with T-mac on the bench)
i'm sure Tom will figure out the rotation...u really dont make his job easy huh? haha

Pepsi Center,November 19 - Chicago Bulls, after having an astonishing 5-0 start in the season, lose their first game, against the amazing 7-0 Denver Nuggets, on the road.On a game which was a close contested one till the last minutes,Denver had the small lead all the way.Bulls made little runs every now and then to tie the game or get the lead down to 1 or 2 points, but Denver and especially Melo was difficult to contain.
After a dunk by Derrick Rose with 2 minutes and 39 seconds left to cut the lead down to 3(76-79),Denver made an 8-0 run to get this one out of reach.Chicago scored only a 3-pointer with Kyle Korver ,with 43 seconds left, but then Denver scored another 4 points to seal the deal.
Denver Nuggets had Carmelo Anthony on an amazing night. He scored 38 points, grabbed 9 rebounds and had only 2 TOs.Billups had 19 points and 12 assists being great as well, and JR Smith added 14 points ,including some spectacular dunks.Martin and Nene did great job on securing the boards, having 11 and 8 respectively.
Chicago had only Derrick Rose performing great, with 25 points,7 assists,3 steals and 1 block.Iverson had 13 points and showed pretty confident on the start, but missed many shots on the 2nd half, when Nuggets were pushing for a bigger lead.Tracy McGrady had a good debut with 11 points(5-9 FG,1-1 3PT) and tried to help but,as with Iverson,he braked down on the 2nd half.Kyle Korver scored 11 points and grabbed 6 points, being un-confident on the game and heating up on the 4th,when the rest of Bulls' squad though was bad.Greg Monroe provided some quality minutes from the bench, but Thibodeau didn't use him that much.he scored 4 pts and 4 rebounds.Boozer was bad, scoring 4 points and grabbing 5 rebounds along with 3 assists, and Noah was again quiet, scoring only 4 points, but grabbing 7 rebounds, making 2 steals and 2 assists, along with 1 block.
Chicago will now play against the current NBA Champions Los Angeles Lakers[3-4] on Sunday [Nov. 21] and hope to bounce back on wins, despite facing a stronger opponent, who is though on a bad start.Unbeatable Nuggets will host on Tuesday [Nov. 23] the New Jersey Nets[3-2] and try to keep this great streak going.Game Highlights
Smith providing us with a highlight Dunk
Melo's ecstatic celebration after a dunk on the last minutes
Rose with an elevation to the rim
T-Mac scoring his first points as a Bull with style
On the notable news from the league, the Miami Heat won the Utah Jazz 114-113 on home in OT after a great comeback on the 4th,with House surpassing the 5000-point mark and the Big 3 combining for 85 points!(Wade 35,Bosh-James 25).Dirk Nowitzki scored 31 pts as the Mavs beat the Knicks on home 113-112 in OT as well.Westbrook's 30 pts and 8 assists,Durant's 25 pt - 10 rbs and Green's 25 pts and 9 rbs lead the Thunder on an easy win over the Raptors(6th straight loss) 110-78 on the road.Roy's 30 led the Blazers to an easy 93-81 win, while Shaq's 25,Allen's 22 and Pierce's 21,lead the Celtics to a crushing win over the Spurs on home, 106-74

Staples Center, November 21 - On a nail-biting game, the Los Angeles Lakers managed to take an amazing narrow win over the strong Chicago Bulls, for just 3 points.Neither team couldn't get a lead that would be safe, but Lakers were the luckiest ones,as they got a small lead at the end and managed to hold it successfully.
With 20 seconds to go ,Bulls had the ball and the Lakers were up by 3 after Kobe scored 1/2 free throws.Lakers defended Derrick Rose fantastically ,but he managed to throw a difficult pass to Deng who got the Bulls 1 point behind the Lakers, with 8.5 seconds to go.Lakers called a timeout, and on the inbound Bulls quickly fouled Pau Gasol, who scored both Free Throws, with 6 seconds remaining, and Lakers went up by three.
Thibodeau called a timeout, and Deng passed the ball to Rose, who faked and took the screen and got a great look for 3,but his shot bounced on the inside of the rim and Gasol took the rebound away, securing the win.Although T-Mac was 2-3 from behind the 3-Pt line,Rose was the one preferred to shoot, while a minute ago,Allen Iverson took on for T-Mac,despite McGrady was clearly on a better day than Iverson.
Derrick Rose and Kobe Bryant provided us with an amazing battle.Rose was the better of the two, having 35 points,3 rebounds,6 assists,2 steals and 1 block.Kobe had 34 points,2 rebounds,4 assists,4 steals and 1 block and both provided us as well with some highlight plays.Bulls had T-Mac on another solid day, with 12 points, showing he can slowly return to his old days,or at least to a similar level.Noah is starting to provide more hustle as well.He recorded a double-double,with 10 points and 14 rebounds ,while having 4 steals and 2 blocks.Deng,Iverson and Korver were far from their good days as both stayed below 10 points and everyone is sure that Bulls' coach waited more from them
Lakers had Pau Gasol and Andrew Bynum on a supporting cast.Gasol had 12 pts and 6 rebounds, including the two crucial free throws and the rebound at the end of the game.Bynum added 10 and 6 along with 5 steals and 2 blocks and was a solid defender for his team.
The Bulls(5-2) will go to Phoenix[Nov. 22] and play with the Suns (2-4) who are the perfect opponent for a return to victories.Suns are not having one of their best start and having lost before from the Bulls, they're surely an easy opponent for Thibodeau's squad.Los Angeles Lakers (4-4) will host the Bucks (1-3) who are having a bad start on this season.Game Highlights
Kobe showing some style on this dunk
Gasol scoring the clutch FT with time running down
D-Rose posterizing Gasol emphatically!
T-Mac can still dunk the ball hard!
Rose disappointed after missing the crucial shot at the buzzer

US Airways Center,Phoenix, November 22 - Playing great on most of the 2nd half, and having Derrick Rose on an amazing day on creating easy points for the rest of the team seemed enough for the Bulls, who beat the Phoenix Suns on the road and went back to winning.
Phoenix was better than the match 12 days ago, when these two teams first played again each other for the season.Suns played strong on offense and defense and never let the Bulls take a big lead on most of the game.J-Rich and J-Chill were the two players that were responsible for scoring for the Suns, while Steve Nash, mostly on the first half, was responsible for the assisting part.
Bulls, tired from the big road trip, started the game quietly and were head to head with the Suns ,despite the many missed shots they had.Derrick Rose scored only 8 points on the first half, but he had 8 assists as well ,showing that he was helping really much his team from other part.On the second half the whole team stepped up their game, and had Phoenix trailing by many points and despite some little runs for the suns, after an 8-0 run 3 minutes before the end,the game was essentially over.Even with their bench on,Bulls played solidly and overall had an easy night, managing to take the win and keep being on the first seeds on the eastern conference as well.
Chicago had Derrick Rose voted as game's MVP.He had a great game with 18 points ,an impressive 17 assists ,recording career-high, 6 rebounds,4 steals,1 block and only 2 turnovers.Allen Iverson was team's top scorer and made his best game as a Bull.He had 21 points and dished 3 assists, with some great percentages(9-13 FG, 3-4 3PT).T-Mac is slowly getting better and better and hopefully he can start to find his old self back.13 points from the 14-year old veteran, who is performing steadily as for now.Korver had 11 points, clearly better than the game vs Lakers, while Deng added 9 points,Noah 8 and 10 boards and Gibson 6 and 5 boards.Boozer was again on his usual mediocre 4 point-4 rebound-3 assist game.James Johnson added 5 points and Monroe with Watson 2 and 1 respectively
Phoenix had Richardson scoring 23 points, along with 6 assists and 2 steals.Chilldress had 22 pts with 4 rebounds and 2 assists.Nash added 13 points and 8 assists on a quiet night, while Warrick added 10 with 6 rebounds and Pryzbilla 8 points and 13 rebounds as well.
Chicago Bulls will now head to Utah and play with the Jazz[2-7] on Wednesday [Nov 24],who are considered an easy opponent. The same day, Suns [2-5] will host the Bucks [1-3] on a match-up against two teams that have a really bad start this season.Game Highlights
