Yes, he actually said that. I guess he underestimated his eye for talent.
Chicago 110, New York 87
The four game losing streak was matched by a four game winning streak, another impressive win and the first of the new year (though I actually played this game last year). The game was over by the end of the third.
Boston 100, Chicago 91
I couldn't extend the winning streak to five, as Paul Pierce once again proved difficult to contain. I made some costly mistakes down the stretch that led to the nine point loss.
Chicago 114, Phoenix 103
The final score doesn't really do justice to the game. It was a close contest throughout, but I managed to pull away in the fourth for a comfortable win. Since Curry hasn't been playing well lately, I moved him to the bench and started Chandler at centre (Chandler has been my sixth man since the KG trade). Both Chandler and Curry had impressive games.
Chicago 106, Miami 104
I moved Curry back into the starting lineup, and he had another good performance. If I can get him involved early, he tends to play well at both ends. Another close game all the way, I somehow managed to keep the lead late in the fourth. Eddie Jones was a thorn in my side, as he lit me up from downtown after I took away the lane. With the score 106-104 in my favour, EJ had a shot to tie, but fortunately it bounced off the back of the rim and Curry grabbed the rebound as time expired.
Current record: 20-15
