Nuggets star set for lengthy injury layoff

Denver star Carmelo Anthony is set to miss 2-3 months of the season after tearing his Achilles Tendon in Denver's win over New Orleans.
He landed awkwardly after attempting to grab a rebound early in the third quarter. A stretcher was required as he was unable to walk.
Anthony, 25, is expected to undergo surgery next week. Someone will have to step up to fill his shoes if Denver hopes to make the playoffs.

I forgot how much I loved Jeff Green after he got moved out of my starters in my last Dynasty. He's doing great so far.

Krstic is doing ok as well. But I might have to look at bringing in a big man.

Perfect way to end your last thread man. (Y) Nice wins. IMO, would have liked to see you try with another team, but it's your choice.

I thought about choosing a team from the East for a change, but OKC are my favourite team so I'm more likely to be in it for the long run.

I only restarted because of the updated rosters. Otherwise I would have continued my other one.

Nice win, your bench was kind of quiet but the starters more than made up for it. Looks like you made things tough for Tyreke Evans, 14 points and 13 assists but 6/25 shooting and 13 turnovers.

I've tended to leave it on All-Star because the last time I upped the difficulty I lost to the Clippers by like 40 points. :|

I may look at adjusting a few things though.

I switched to Superstar difficulty for the Chicago game. I'll stick with it for now.

Oklahoma City announce roster changes

Image

Oklahoma City have brought in experienced forward Jamario Moon from Cleveland in exchange for Thabo Sefolosha.
The Swiss guard had found precious little game time since the emergence of James Harden and the summer arrival of Daequan Cook.
Cleveland are in a rebuilding phase after LeBron James' departure to Miami. 34 year old Anthony Parker's contract is due to expire at seasons end.
Sefolosha was selected to the All NBA Defensive Second Team for the 2009-10 NBA season.

Oklahoma City
Thabo Sefolosha - 25 years old - SG - 12.90m - 4 years
5 GP - 0 GS - 1.6 PPG - 0.2 RPG - 0.0 APG - 0.0 BPG - 0.2 SPG

Cleveland
Jamario Moon - 29 years old - SF - 3.00m - 1 year
6 GP - 2 GS - 11.3 PPG - 4.3 RPG - 0.8 APG - 0.8 BPG - 1.0 SPG

----------

In what was a busy day for the Thunder, they also signed veteran center Erick Dampier on a 1 year deal worth 5.85m.
After Bulls forward Joakim Noah grabbed 24 rebounds the other night, it become obvious that the Thunder needed an experienced big man.
It was also announced that the Thunder have decided to release new arrivals Morris Peterson and Royal Ivey.

Still not much help from the bench, at least at the offensive end, but on the plus side your opponents don't seem to be utilising their reserves all that much either. Hope Moon works out better than Sefolosha was, Dampier's a solid pickup.

The Moon trade was really a win-win for me. Better backup for Durant and an expiring contract.

There's some good big men with expiring contracts coming up in the off-season. (Y)

Durant with a nice dunk.

Dampier finds Harden in space and he sinks a three.

Moon plays great defense against Maggette.

-----
I was leading by 16 late in the third and I decided to give me bench an extended run. Milwaukee scored 12 unanswered points to end the quarter. (N)
Also they counted a three made by Durant as a two. I looked at the replay and he was nowhere near the line. :x
