Since the new roster update came out the other day I've decided to start a new Thunder Dynasty.
Because I've enjoyed this one so much and because I don't want to end it mid-season, I'm going to simulate the rest of the season and then play the playoffs.
I'll definitely keep this save file somewhere safe. This is probably as good a team as I could ever put together. (Y)

I'm a sucker for things being up to date, and with the new draft class added and updated data, it's hard for me to ignore.
Especially seeing as the Thunder player's ratings have improved so much. Durant 86 ->94, Westbrook 78 ->86 , Green 79 ->84 , Harden 69 ->80, Ibaka 65 ->78.

Now on to try and equal the Bulls/Lakers by winning my 3rd straight Championship. :headbang:

Oklahoma City vs Portland preview

ImageImage

No less than five players will line-up against their former team mates. Brandon Roy, Greg Oden, LaMarcus Aldridge, Rudy Gay and Kyle Weaver.
Roy and Aldridge were both signed as free agents by Oklahoma City in the 2010 off-season after they both failed to agree on extensions at Portland.
Oden moved to Oklahoma City from Portland midway through the 2010 season with Kyle Lowry in exchange for Rudy Gay and Kyle Weaver.
It spelled the end of Gay's short but successful spell in Oklahoma City. He was a fan favourite particularly because of his dunking prowess.
Gay and Weaver were both part of the Thunder team that won the NBA Championship in 2009/10 season.
Gay was acquired by the Thunder from Memphis at the start of the 2009 season in exchange for a 1st round draft pick.

Sounds like a good plan, glad to hear you're finishing out this one though. (Y)

Good luck against the Blazers, though I'd say you've got this one in four, maybe five tops. As for that Bulls trade, that did very little for their point guard rotation.

The Chicago trade is just another example of the weird AI choices in this game. Like Melo for Granger or Kobe for Ginobili and Parker. :|

Tough loss, they killed you in the third quarter. Here's hoping you can bounce back to win four straight.

Haven't been around these parts much, but this Dynasty looks sweet. Looks like it has come a long ways since it's inception.

Can anybody fill me in on how far along everything is & what's happened in last 2 seasons? :P

That must've been a very frustrating game to play. 33 points is usually a quarter for you, surprising they held you to that much in a half.

Oklahoma City go into this series as overwhelming favourites, but Golden State are quietly confident of causing an upset.
Their young star Stephen Curry will need to step up big time if they hope to stand any chance.
They will also need Corey Maggette and Monta Ellis to up their defensive efforts against Durant and Roy.
