 It's a fantasy Dynasty. I'm doing it for fun.

I did a lot olf trades at first because I was trying to make a team that ran. Like the Suns and Sonics, or old Kings and Mavs. But I had to knix that idea because I could hardly run against the computer.

lol looks fun, but if i were u i would try to slow down on the trading. not because its unrealistic, but because it might not get fun after awhile. if u trade stars again and again, its like ur jus trading for instant satisfaction... then u play 1 game with tmac, then get bored cause he didnt score 100 points, so u trade him for duncan. if i were u i would get my favorite players and just keep em.

also, i think wen u had spree that was awesome... bringing spree back to ny! i never even thought about doing that, and now that i saw it, it makes me wanna start a ny dynasty and get him! :x

also, like donatello said, ur screenies are awesome quality

NYK: 105 DET: 108

When the teams with two of the best records in the NBA met for the second time, their first at the Palace of Auburn Hills, the Pistons took control from the start.
The Pistons took control of the game early, going on a 10-2 run in the first three minutes of the game. From the beginning, they lead pretty much all of the game. Whenever the Knicks made a run, the Pistons countered.
One of the reasons the Pistons were able to stay in control of the game was the play of Mike Bibby. Bibby hit on 5 of 9 from the outside, had 7 rebounds, and dished 8 assists in route to 29 points.

Knicks ended the game with a run to get back into it, but time expired on them. The lead was 6 and the Knicks hit a three to take it down to a one possession game. But with just seconds left and Pistons in control of the ball, the Knicks were unable to steal the ball or make a foul.

Friday, February 4

NYK: 82 SAC: 114

Time runs out on the Knicks. The Knicks are crowned by the Kings for 32 point loss.

Image

The Knicks and Kings were tied going in the second quarter, and even going into the second half, the Knicks had reason to be feeling good.. they were on the road and were still in the ball game, down by a measly 6 points. But the third quarter came and they fell behind some more and fourth was more of the same story. No runs could do anything..

Krvin Garnett had 22 and 13. chris Mihm contributed 13 off the boards as well, but only put up 6 points and was not much of a threat inside.

The Kings big men bested the Knicks, with Kings rookie Dwight Howard giving them 21 points and 18 boards. Chris Bosh has 17 rebounds as well. The Kings killed the Knicks off the offensive rebounded, taking in 19 offensive rebounds to the Knicks 9. In total, the Kings had 65 rebounds to the Knicks 46. 19 more rebounds.

In the backcourt, Kings superstar guard Kobe Bryant dropped 33 on the Knicks hitting 5 of 8 from the 3-pt line. Lindsey Hunter contributed 19.

Knicks swingmen, Tracy McGrady and Rashard Lewis struggled hitting on a combined 11 of 36 shots (30.5%). That won't get it done on any night. To add to the woes, Knicks starting point guard Kenny Anderson (Queens born) went scoreless from the field, missing on 7 attempts.

Lewis finished with 23, most of which he scored in the extra session. He shot 50% for the game and 33% from the 3-pt line, while hitting 3 from downtown. He also had 5 rebounds, a career-high 8 blocks, 2 steals, and 7 assists.

King James (pictured) was the offense of the Sophmores.

The first half saw Carmelo Anothony have to sit out with an injury. But fortunately the injury was not anything serious and 'Melo was able to play for the second half.

At halftime, LeBron James was the games scoring leader with 20 first-half points. PG's Dwayne Wade and rookie Devin Harris had 4 assists each.

LeBron James finished with a game-high 40 points. Not enough for the MVP, Carmelo Anthony won it posting 28 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 steals. 'Melo hit 4 of 7 from the 3-pt line.

From the Toronto Raptors,

From the Dallas Mavericks,
Darrell Armstrong

From the Washington Wizards,

The Participants

Foot Locker 3 Point Shootout

First Round

Tracy McGrady
Image
T-Mac had a bad start, but was able to put enough in to give him a chance. After scoring 16, McGrady had to wait in an anctipation of whether he would be moving on or not.
Image

Eddie Jones
Image
After a weak start, Jones got on fire hitting on 14 of 16 shots, but missing 2 money balls.
Image

Darrell Armstrong
Image
Kenny thought he uses a lot of energy in his shot. Armstrong shot the lights just missing the last 4 money balls. The score would be good enough to put him in first place.
Image

Donyell Marshall
Image
Marshall scored a 13, the lowest score so far. Missing the entire fourth rack hurt his chances.
Image

Gilbert Arenas
Kenny: "He can just shoot." And he did. 22 was enough to put him in a tie for first place.
Image

Mike Bibby
Image
Mike Bibby struggled to put the ball though the hoop and his score showed it.
Image

Peja Stojakovic
Image
Peja took over the shootout missing only one shot and clearing three racks. The score put him in first place.
Image

Chauncey Billups
Image
Last season's Finals MVP fell just a money ball short of forcing a tiebreaker for the final spot in the next round. Only hitting for one on the final rack killed his chances.

Semi-Finals

Tracy McGrady
Image
T-Mac shot much better in the Semis clearing the first and final racks.
Image

Eddie Jones
Image
Jones bested T-Macs performance hitting on all shots, but four money balls. Enough for first place.
Image

Gilbert Arenas
Image
Arenas was left hoping for another chance, but the eight was not good enough to put him into the finals or the fans. The fans let him hear it for his poor performance.
Image

Darrell Armstrong
Image
Armstrong shot a respectable 18, but it was not enough to put him in the Finals.
Image

Peja Stojakovic
Unfortunately for Peja, there are no redos.

Finals

Tracy McGrady
Image
McGrady was the only player who up'ed his score each round. 21 gave him a good chance at taking the Championship.
Image

Eddie Jones
Image
Eddie Jones' score was good, but not enough to win the shoot out.
