don't worry I will....they did a little quieter in my 1st sim games, but they will definitely continue to get PT....on a side note, JJ went off for 37 points in my 1st sim game

as Sit said, I didn't/couldn't resign myself....heck, I wanted over $2 mill per over 7 years  go back a page or 2 and you'll see my failed negotiations

The X fitted Detroit's needs off the bench....let's hope he sees his big payday next season :D

it's the 3rd X-Fest, and it's the 2nd one this year....should be good....X-Fest 4.0 should be on my b-day in March....should be a good day and night :P

if that didn't answer your question, then you should know that it's basically a bbq/piss-up with family, mates, etc....have combined this one with my brother's b-day so should be good

I think both of them going nailed by a thunderous dunk by Meka or something, and it seemed like a good opportunity to take a spin of it....

THAT GUY GOES DOWN

The Bobcats' ever-improving big man Guy Dumars was injured in the team's loss to the defending champion San Antonio Spurs. Dumars came down on Luis Scola's foot and came up limping. Dumars would later enter the game and play through the minor injury.

Okafor: "Nah, you only tweaked it. It'll be fine. Play through it, that's what a real guy would do."
That Guy: "It really hurts though...."
Okafor: "Shut up and play through it you whiner."
That Guy: "Umm....okay Mekes"

After consultation with the team's medical staff after the game, it was revealed that Guy Dumars' injury was more serious than originally thought, and he is expected to miss the next couple of weeks with a broken bone in his foot.

SIT HURT BUT WON'T SIT OUT ANY GAMES

It was revealed today that new Warriors' acquisition, NLSC-er Will Sit, is suffering from bone spurs in his left foot. It was also revealed that Sit would not miss any action and would play through the pain. This is a big call by Sit as the injury could turn into a long-term problem if it is agitated further, but the youngster is so happy with his current situation that he does not want to lose his starting job back to veteran PG Derek Fisher.

BOBCATS BRING IN VETERAN HORRY

To add more depth & experience in the frontcourt, the Bobcats today announced that it had signed veteran forward Robert Horry to a one year deal at league minimum. With Dumars down with injury, Horry should be able to help the team straight away. However the team does not expect Horry to play much of a role during the regular season as they plan to keep him fresh for the playoffs. Big Shot Rob is widely renowned for his clutch play and shooting during his championship days with the Rockets, Lakers and Spurs, and the Charlotte Bobcats hope that he can provide similar play for them come the playoffs.

NETS SIGN JALEN ROSE, XU TO PLAY SIXTH MAN ROLE

The New Jersey Nets announced the signing of former Fab Five member, swingman Jalen Rose, to a one year deal at league minimum. It is expected that Jalen Rose will move straight into the starting lineup at the SG spot, and 2nd year SG Jing "jxuusa" Xu will move to a sixth man role as he backs up at the SG and PG positions.

The Nets were weak in the backcourt so this move makes a lot of sense. It remains whether to be seen if Rose can co-exist in the starting lineup alongside Kidd and Jefferson. If he can not, then you might see Rose moving to a sixth man role, and Xu back into the starting lineup.

I'm now 9 games into season, so November recap should be up in a few days' time I would say

I also updated BPMM Leaderboard (on page 1 of the thread) through the first 9 games of the season, with a newcomer leading the way....

cheers
