Rockets are 0-2. Mavs are 1-0. Epic win.

All-Star Selections
Well, the All-Stars have been named by the fans, and we would like to thank all voters for making the possibility of two of our fellow Rockets starting possible. That's right, Kevin Martin and Yao Ming headline the West starters. Well, don't want to rant here, but see for yourselves the selections:East Starters
C Brook Lopez | PF Michael Beasley | SF Danny Granger | SG Dwyane Wade | PG Mo Williams
East Reserves
Al Horford | Andrea Bargnani | Gerald Wallace | Joe Johnson | Gilbert Arenas | Derrick Rose | Devin Harris
West Starters
C Yao Ming | PF Amar'e Stoudemire | SF LeBron James | SG Kevin Martin | PG Steve Nash
West Reserves
Al Jefferson | Channing Frye | Kevin Durant | Kobe Bryant | Chris Paul | Chris Bosh | Brandon Roy
Key Storylines:
Nash and Amar'e Re-Unite: After Amar'e's departure to Sacramento, this dynamic duo finally reunites, hoping to make a big bang in this All-Star game.
Key Superstars: The fact that the West has elite players in Stoudemire, LeBron, Durant, Kobe, Brandon Roy, Steve Nash, Yao Ming, Kevin Martin, etc., this should be the easiest of wins for the West.
Where's Dwight Howard?: Dwight Howard is out with a hyper-extended knee. This is contributing to the fact that Orlando is struggling to keep above .500.
First-Time All-Stars: After getting Rookie Challenge MVP Honors last year, Derrick Rose becomes the first Bulls All-Star since Michael Jordan. Also, Gerald Wallace, Andrea Bargnani, Channing Frye, and Al Jefferson made their first All-Star appearances. Chris Bosh and LeBron James will play their first All-Star Game as a part of the Western Conference.
To sum it all up, easy win in store for the West. They are just too deep to lose this game. Expect a recap of the All-Star game soon.

NBA All-Star Game Recap
Western All-Stars 145-122 Eastern All-Stars
Michael Beasley had a surprising game, and took home the MVP honors.
The West was the favorite to win this one. And they did, by 23 points. It's not like this was an easy win, it's just that with every quarter gone by, the West pulled away. "We depended too much on Mo Williams and Michael Beasley. We weren't sharing the basketball out there. Both players were just trying to become a one-man show," said East Coach John Kuester, who currently sits at the top of the Eastern Conference with his Detroit Pistons. "Scoring was distributed equally, we played some defense, but mainly offense. I like the way that despite Yao being in the game, Steve [Nash] was able to push the tempo, and we got so many fast break points," said West Coach Alvin Gentry. Since Rick Adelman was coach of the West last year, and is currently in first place with our Rockets, Gentry was voted head coach with the second placed Phoenix Suns.
If you would like to know how our two Rockets players did, Yao Ming had a double-double, with 17 points and 11 rebounds, and two assists to go with that. Kevin Martin had 12 points and three assists, having to share minutes with Kobe and Brandon Roy. All West players scored, and only Steve Nash and Channing Frye did not reach double figures, as Nash was more focused on distributing the ball (8 assists), and Frye just didn't have the rhythm. Chris Paul was the leader for the West, with a team high 22 points and nine assists. But in the end, Michael Beasley took home the MVP honors, see his stats below.

Kevin Martin assists Chris Paul on 3 of Paul's 22 points.
There was a bit of a mixup with the jerseys, making LeBron number 24 and Kobe number 25.
Despite going 0/4 to start the game, Kobe finished with 13 points, and delivered what should've been the dunk of the night.
Mo Williams took 43 minutes to get 29 points and 13 assists, but Chris Paul only took 24 minutes to get 22 points and 9 assists.
