Thanks. Griffin has been awesome for me so far. He and Westbrook seem to have taken charge of my offense.

Only this guy is white and bald.
There's also about 3 O'Callaghan's in the league too (2 in New Jersey and 1 in New York) and another in the next draft class.
One is black and from Venezuela, another is white and from Japan and the third is white and from Montana.

I went on a 14-0 run to end the second quarter, during which they went 3 minutes without scoring.

Nice comeback, they just threw away that first quarter lead. What a pity.

Another case of point guard domination for Williams though, but at least he's the kind of player who's capable of big games like that.
Thu Jul 14, 2011 4:55 pm
It's the same when I play the Clippers too. Mo Williams dominates their scoring. If it is a bug I hope they fix it for the next game. (NBA Live 15?

)
Strangely Deron Williams is the best player on the game. He is rated 99 overall.
Thu Jul 14, 2011 5:04 pm
It may just lie in ratings because biggD's rosters do improve player performance and strategy. Position domination (often the point guards) has historically been an issue in NBA Live.

Blame Brook Lopez for that lol.
Griffin is tearing it up, keep it up!

Title rivals secure playoffs berths

It's been hard to separate Oklahoma City and Miami in the past three seasons and unsurprisingly today both teams officially qualified for the playoffs.
This is the third straight season that the Thunder and Heat have been the first team to secure playoff berths in their respective conferences.
It looks likely that both will also finish with the top seed in their conferences for the third year running. It's become a new Celtics-Lakers rivalry.
The two teams will meet in just two weeks in Oklahoma City for a game that could well decide who gets home court advantage in the Finals.
The Thunder currently have a 49-11 record with 22 games left to play, whilst the Heat are on 50-15 and have only 17 games left to play.
A similar scenario happened last season. Miami won in Oklahoma City late in the season, but the Thunder ended up with the superior record.

Yeah Lopez is pretty annoyingly incosistent.

I'm pretty happy with the trade so far.

Four more blocks and it would have been a quadruple-double.

Blake made some 3s in real life if I remember correctly, nice to see him doing it here too
Sat Jul 16, 2011 3:12 pm
He's probably a 1-10 3pt shooter though.

I have to restrain myself from taking wide open shots with him because he misses a lot more than he makes.
I miss the days of Jeff Green sinking a three from the top of the key at the start of every quarter.

Griffin prepares for his first game against Clippers since trade

There is sure to be some mixed emotions for Blake Griffin tomorrow night as he takes on the Clippers for the first time since he was traded to the Thunder.
It's been a month since they brought him home and it looks to have been a masterstroke. He has performed better than anyone could have dreamed.
In the eleven games he's played for the Thunder he's averaging nearly a triple-double per game. An amazing record of 25 ppg, 11 apg and 8.7 rpg.
He had flirted with triple-doubles in 4 of his first 7 games, but it took the Pacers game for him to finally get it. He's currently on a 3 game streak.
It will also be a reunion of sorts for Kevin Love, Serge Ibaka, Shannon Brown, Ryan Gomes and Eric Bledsoe. All of whom were included in the Griffin deal.
The Clippers fortunes have improved slightly since the trade, but still look pretty unlikely to make up the big gap to the eighth seeded Mavericks.
Oklahoma City on the other hand have continued their good form atop the western conference. They look set to finish with the top seed again.

And the worst third quarter performance i had ever seen in my whole life!

Definitely an embarrassing third quarter for the Clippers...then again, giving up Griffin was itself a facepalming move. I'm not heartbroken to see it though as it's obviously making this season a lot of fun for you and adding even more excitement to the team.
