yeah, season has taken a little longer than I anticipated, but as you know, real life comes first and can only play when I can only play....but will start dbf-editing soon....

go to patch requests forum and post a straight-on pic, make a headshape suggestion of an NBA player who has a similarly shaped head as yourself, and hopefully someone can make it for you

yep, sorry I've taken so long....just had a lot of stuff going on in my life at the moment and Live has taken a backburner (much like I think has happened to dweaver) :(

dynasty will continue though, so do not fear  I'll probably dbf edit in 2 weeks when I'm off work after wisdom teeth surgery

aw man... this sucks
one of the worst things about it is the "hamsteritis" u'll get after ^^
but i'm sure u'll make it (Y)

i hope this will never happen to me...

Tue May 24, 2005 10:07 am

wisdom teeth surgery? are you get it pulled?
my friend got his pulled and it was a slow and brutal process

Tue May 24, 2005 6:10 pm

just getting all 4 of them ripped out....all 4 are in the gums and compacted, so they'll have to go into gums....

it's all good though....

haven't actually had the surgery yet, will happen at the end of this week....the reason I haven't had any updates in a while is that I've just been having issues with this girl I've starting dating and it's been playing on my mind and Live has been put on the backburner....fortunately I appear to be back on track after my hiatus and will get last game of March done tonight and try to put up game recaps to the end of March tonight....will do March Summary on Wednesday....probably do dbf editing in time off from work....and get onto April games and hopefully playoffs (if I make them) when I've recovered....

I've also started a Raptors dynasty....28 games to race through seasons with no dbf-editing....will do small annual recaps....no NLSC-ers, no real-life rookies, just good old Live 2005....should be good....cheers Micchy for the .dat help with draft picks :D

cheers for support guys....glad that you guys are still interested in my lil 'Cats dynasty

CATS STUMBLE INTO APRIL, PLAYOFFS FAR FROM SECURE

I've finally garnered the motivation to play the last game of March and here goes the final 4 game recap for March 2007.

Mar 11, 2007 - Charlotte 90 vs Denver 121 [INTERVENTION GAME]

Intervening in the 4th and down by a crazy 41 points, I just let the scrubs play. This loss is Charlotte's 3rd straight as the team dropped to 24-24 overall.

ImageImage
These 2 nasty flushes by 2nd year bigman Mark Becker pretty much summed up how the game went for the 'Cats

BPMM Points: Arenas 3pts, Simmons 2pts, Jaric 1pt

Mar 12, 2007 - Charlotte 86 @ Detroit 106 [SIMMED GAME]

Four straight losses as the team falls below .500 (24-25) for the first time since November. Bobby Simmons' play was the one bright spot in an otherwise disappointing night for the Bobcats.

BPMM Points: Simmons 3pts, Arenas 2pts, Okafor 1pt

Mar 21, 2007 - Charlotte 115 @ Milwaukee 97 [HUMAN GAME]

The bleeding stops at 4 as the Bobcats stepped up bigtime and put the Bucks away comfortably to move back to .500, at 25-25. A well-balanced effort from roster spot 1 through 12 made the difference in this one as the Bobcats continue to jockey for playoff positioning.

Russel "Micchy_boy" Santos used a hard hit to the floor to his advantage as he checked out his new hair 'do

Other pics:

"It's "That Guy" again as he throws down a vicious dunk over a defeated Joe Smith

BPMM Points: Okafor 3pts, Simmons 2pts, Jaric 1pt

Mar 31, 2007 - Charlotte 98 vs Indiana 102 [INTERVENTION GAME]

With the Bobcats sitting at .500 and the Pacers sitting half a game back in the East at one game below .500, this was a very important game for Charlotte to win. Intervening in the 4th quarter, the Bobcats trailed by 7 points against the tough Pacers. In a see-sawing battle the Bobcats left their run a little too late as the late heroics of Arenas, Simmons and Watson were not enough as the Pacers squeak out a win to move half a game ahead of Charlotte in the East. This loss drops the Bobcats back to 25-26, as they hang on to the No. 7 seed out East with only 7 games to play. April will prove to be a pivotal month ahead as the Bobcats look to make its inaugural playoff appearance for the young franchise.

BPMM Points: Dumars 3pts, Arenas 2pts, Simmons 1pt

that's all for today....I'll try and get March recap up on Wednesday....also updated BPMM Leaderboard on page 1 of the thread....

enjoy

MAKE THE FINALS FOR BOBCATS HISTORY PLEASE!!

Mon May 30, 2005 11:39 pm

magadag25 wrote:MAKE THE FINALS FOR BOBCATS HISTORY PLEASE!!

 baby steps to start with....I'm pretty much locked into a playoff spot somewhere between 5 and 8 out East barring a major collapse and a surge from Toronto....once I'm there I'll take it once game at a time and hope that my simming results give me a chance to advance which basically means

I'll do my best though to be a Cinderella out East :P

Tue May 31, 2005 2:39 am

Nice work, being creative with the pic of him looking at the floor.

Tue May 31, 2005 3:56 am

Mark Becker looks like a birdman  Nice update, but tough losses too. I would also like to see you take the Bobcats to the finals

Tue May 31, 2005 4:19 am

cheers, but all the credit has to go to Micchy_boy who was kind enough to provide a nice snapshot moment for me....

yeah, he does a bit....and he's now playing for Nuggets too....am a bit of a fan of Becker and hope he excels in Denver....and I'm also hoping for a run through the playoffs....hope to at least move past the 1st Round....should be good though....

jxuusa wrote:nice idea with the micchy one X.

nice idea :? wasn't really an idea....just took a snap of Micchy on the ground and came up with a one-liner....as simple as that

no, just a girl from work....although now you mention it, she is part German and her last name is Pfisner (pronounced Fitzner) I think....

yep losses were tough, especially that last one against the Pacers....

Blazer Freak wrote:Hey X, I noticed that you have Splitter and the rookies in your dynasty. Could you help me get them into mine? IM me on AIM at Jason2352, or PM me

I dbf-edited them in....changed generated rookies names, details, ratings, added cyberfaces....I would suggest checking out the Announcements Forum and downloading one of the 2005 Rookie Patches and then going to Dynasty Issues Forum and there is a thread there on putting rookies into the game....

Tue May 31, 2005 6:44 pm

Go X! You finally started dating her! (Y)

yeah, although it almost didn't happen and almost ended quickly and was up in the air for a bit....but seems to have settled....get my wisdom teeth out on Friday so I'll be able to evaluate things in my time off....whatever happens, it's all good....

back on to the dynasty, I will try and get March Recap up tomorrow night....

cheers

Looks like we both had our respective breaks from our dynasties, X... Each for different reasons...

nah...
u'd pronounce it "pfissner" if the name 100% german

if u say Fitzner it would be spelled "Feitzner"

but i guess it's a german name which should sound english and that's why u say fitzner ;)

and it's nice to see u back dweaver, what took u so long ???
