Halstead's head so small, no wonder he's such a prick.

Ouch, tough loss with Farmar coming through in the clutch for the Lakers but seems it was an exciting game at least, keeping things interesting.

My best game: 3OT on Live, Thunder (me) @ Lakers.
End of Regulation: Green hits game tying three.
End of OT: Hasheem Thabeet puts back missed layup by Westbrook.
End of 2OT: Durant nails a long three.
I lost 130-124, but was that hell or what
I love when I lose in 2OT and above. It makes you feel proud.... But not as much as winning

Funny how I post a picture of your client and you rant on about a Triple OT game.
Martti. wrote:Halstead's head so small, no wonder he's such a prick.

Good point there.

You know what they say about people with small heads...
Small brains!Andrew wrote:Ouch, tough loss with Farmar coming through in the clutch for the Lakers but seems it was an exciting game at least, keeping things interesting.
All Farmar was doing all game long was jacking up spot-up threes, and missing them. One of them was bound to go in, and unfortunately, it was the one that counted the most.

I still have a hard schedule, I visit the Blazers and the Nuggets next, whom are on a tear!

Scoring duels are fun! I remember Martin had one against OJ Mayo last season (in this dynasty).

It was actually 42.

But yeah, Kobe was just pure annoying.

He ballhogged too much, but he only played 7-8 minutes. Still, I guess 4 points is a good start.
Thanks for the feedback guys.

I didn't know I had that many readers.

2-game Recap tomorrow, should be interesting as I've finally found the right settings to give me a challenge.

A thrilling game indeed. Sad to see Yao losing his heat at OT, he maybe getting tired and a bit nervous at the same time. Tough way to end the game for Kevin Martin! I bet he wouldn't get to sleep after missing that free throw.
Sat Sep 18, 2010 10:33 am
The thought just occurred to me that Halstead will probably have something inappropriate to say to his teammates about the loss.

Be careful, or Brad'll fire you!

Yeah, Yao was quiet the whole game. My two best players basically choked when they were needed most. *sigh*

Proceed...?
Yeah, probably to K-Mart, for missing that free throw to win the game.
Sat Sep 18, 2010 10:42 am
Just seems the kind of thing he'd do, if he hasn't started to lose the attitude.
Sat Sep 18, 2010 11:39 am
If Brad fires me, he owes me 750k of his contract

Disappointing loss and performance by Halstead, but your still major championship favorites.

If he fires you, you're out of the story.
badreligionau wrote:The Lakers are jerks

Exactly right.
This is only my second season, in other words the 2010-11 season, so Kobe is 33 years old.
Lamrock wrote:Disappointing loss and performance by Halstead, but your still major championship favorites.
I think he went 2/5 from the field? He's pretty quick for a 6"9" SF, but he needs to pass the ball a lot more.

2-game Recap
[24-4] Houston Rockets 95-102 Portland Trail Blazers [17-13]

Portland acquired Rudy Gay in the off-season, and scored 13 points.
After a full season of not being able to beat the Rockets, the Blazers pulled out all the stops to do so on December 30. The Rockets defeated the Blazers a crushing 8 times last season, but with a good team effort, they finally overcame their rivals. Both teams were playing well defensively in the 1st quarter. In the 2nd quarter the shooting picked up, and the Rockets set out to a 4-point lead at halftime. In the 3rd quarter, the Blazers set out to do what other teams haven't, and that's dominate the Rockets defensively. "You can't let them get a good lead in the 3rd, because it'll carry over to the 4th quarter, and there's nothing you can do from there," said Blazers head coach Nate McMillan in a post-game interview.
Despite the Rockets' 13-0 advantage in points off turnovers, the Blazers scored often in the second half because of second chance opportunities. Starting frontcourt Greg Oden and LaMarcus Aldridge, the performer of the game, were crashing the boards, and even the Portland backcourt got in the act. With a Blazing offensive effort, the Rockets could not defeat the Blazers at the Rose Garden. This is the Rockets' first losing streak since last season, but now go to Denver hoping to overcome those two heart-breaking defeats.

With Camby's departure to Memphis, Oden is now a starter, and Memo is a reliable back up big man for him.

Brad Halstead brought out his full potential this game, scoring a solid 11 points off the bench, and making his first NBA 3-pointer.
[24-5] Houston Rockets 104-93 Denver Nuggets [14-15]

Another veteran who provides the Rockets defense a lot of frustration.
The Rockets look to be back on track. They completely dominated this game. Denver only had the lead once, and that was after scoring the first bucket of the game. From then on, it was all Rockets. The lead would balloon to 15, but the Nuggets were able to chip it down to 10 by the end of the first. In the second quarter, the Nuggets outscored the Rockets, with Chauncey Billups leading the way, who finished with 29 points and 11 assists, Melo also helped, chipping in 20 points. In the second half though, the Rockets continued their dominance, and some good games by the Big 3, and the bench. The Rockets bench outscored the Nuggets bench a crushing 39 to 4. The Nuggets would come within 4 in the fourth, but the Rockets pulled away easily. Yao Ming went a perfect 7/7 from the field, finishing with 16 points and grabbing 9 boards. Kevin Martin had a bit of a struggle from the field, but managed to squeeze in a solid 27 points, while Aaron Brooks continues to pass the rock, and had 9 assists again.
Halstead watch- Brad Halstead scored 8 points, scoring another three, and a three point play. He also racked up his first assist, which was amazingly dished to Kevin Martin.
