Western Conference Finals

(2) San Antonio Spurs vs. (1) Sacramento Kings

Image

Sacramento Kings hosted the San Antonio Spurs in Game 1. They showed some rustiness due to a long break after they swept their semifinal match. As a result, the Spurs stole Game 1, 99-89. Tony Parker was the hero of this game finishing with 24 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists. The Kings made sure they will not lose 2 straight games at home, winning Game 2, 92-83 behind Chris Webber’s 26 points, 9 rebounds and 2 assists. Series now tied 1-1.

With momentum on their side, Kings won Game 3 with their defense, 91-80. Brad Miller was the high man with 22 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists. With that win, the Kings now lead the series 2-1. Game 4 was more of an offensive battle, it should favor the Kings but ironically, the Spurs won this one, 106-93 to tie the series 2-2. Again, Tony Parker almost had a triple double with 29 points, 8 rebounds and 13 assists.

In Game 6, Tim Duncan stepped up to help the Spurs in taking a 3-2. They win this one, 90-72. Duncan anchored Spurs offense with his 29 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists. Tim Duncan finished with 19 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists in Game 6 to win the series 4-2. They will face he winner of Pistons-Heat series.

Eastern Conference Finals

(3) Miami Heat vs.(1) Detroit Pistons

Image

Detroit Pistons never show any sign of fatigue in Game 1 as they used their defense to win this one, 91-84. Chauncey Billups scored 22 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists. But in Game 2, Heat bounce back behind Shaquille O’Neal 27 points, 12 rebounds and 2 assists to tie the series with a low scoring game, 86-81.

Miami Heat hosted Game 3 but the Pistons stole this game, winning by 14 points to take a 2-1 advantage. Rip Hamilton lead the Pistons with his 26 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. In Game 4, Heat tried to even the series but Pistons have different plan. With Rip Hamilton having another great game, scoring 24 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists, he defending champion put another great defense for another big win, 92-74. They now lead 3-1 and have a chance to close the Heat in Game 5 at home.

In Game 5, Dwyane Wade helped the Heat avoid elimination with his 29 points, 3 rebounds and 5 assists. Heat won this one, 97-89. Pistons still lead the series 3-2 and will try to win it to avoid playing another Game 7. In Game 6, Heat won again, 88-73. O’Neal helped his team by scoring 22 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists to even the series at 3-3 after trailing 3-1.

For the 2nd straight series, the Pistons jumped to a 3-1 advantage but let their opponents to crawl back and tied the series 3-3. Fortunately, the deciding Game 7 will be play in their home-court. They win big time against the Knicks, can they do it again against Shaq and the Heat.

Playing in front of their fans, Pistons showed their defense on O’Neal, limited him to just 15 points. On the other hand, its Rasheed Wallace turns to shine, scoring 32 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists. Pistons once again win the deciding Game 7, 96-81 and will now have the chance to defend their title against the San Antonio Spurs.

2004-05 NBA FINALS

(2) San Antonio Spurs vs. (1) Detroit Pistons

Image

This NBA Finals features the best team on each conference. San Antonio Spurs are the heavy favorite to win the title this year having the same core of this high-caliber team from last season. But they have to face defending champion Detroit Pistons, which with teamwork, defense and hard work, would like to build a new Pistons dynasty. Both teams are among the best defensive team in NBA. But don’t underestimate their offensive skill as both teams can light up the scoreboard in any given night.

In Game1, Pistons showed they great defense, limiting the Spurs to only 83 points. But the main factor for Detroit 101-83 win was Rip Hamilton’s offense. He finished with 28 points, 3 rebounds and 8 assists. The former champ bounced back in Game 2. Tim Duncan lead the Spurs with his 32 points, 13 rebounds and 2 assists. With that win, Spurs not only even series but also stole the home-court advantage. The next 3 games will be play at SBC Center.

Playing in front of their fans and with momentum on their side, Spurs dominated the Pistons for a 110-101 victory. Brent Barry came big in this game, tallying with 27 points, 2 rebounds and 7 assists. They now lead the series 2-1. For the 3rd straight game, Spurs reached the 100 points mark, proving Pistons defense was not working as the Pistons plan. Again, Tim Duncan led his team with 23 points, 13 rebounds and 2 assists for a 106-90 win. Spurs now hold a commanding 3-1 lead and will have a chance to win it in Game which will also play here at SBC Center. The defending champs proved they will not give up with a fight. Pistons win Game 5, 93-92, in what could be the closest game of the series. Tayshaun Prince led the Detroit Pistons with his 23 points, 13 rebounds and 7 assists. With that win, they cut the series deficit to 3-2.

The series shifted back to Detroit for the remainder of the series. Spurs, trying to avoid a Game 7, tried their best to win this in this game. But Pistons’ defense was at high gear, as they forced Spurs to a low scoring game. The game favors the Pistons, every time they hold the Spurs less than 100 points, they win the game. But the Spurs, who struggled with their offense the entire game, came up big in the 4th period. They stole this game with an 87-86 nail-biting win to bag their 3rd championship trophy in 7 years. Tim Duncan led Spurs in this game with 34 points, 8 rebounds and 2 assists.

Tim Duncan was named Finals MVP, averaging 24.7 points, 12 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 40.1 minutes in this Finals.

yes its a 16 page dynasty but most of that was my post with some of them were SPAM
thanks, and yes i try upgrading my team... (honestly degrading it).

--------------------
my off-season was over... i try to post everything that happen in it.
the draft went pkey with few minor editting i made....
resigns players, do some trade....
but the next thing to be done will take some time...
DBF editing of all the rookies, NLSC and real rookie prospects...
i will only edit their profiles, and apperances esp with all those who have cyberface...
