I will be using this format for today and tomorrow mainly because I'm going out of town Wednesday morning and I want to only have a few games once I come back on Sunday morning to play. I mixed a little bit of the preview up with game. The last 3 games of the season will be just like the regular recaps though.

Yao playing 46 minutes is a miracle.

Well I was able to update the Lakers game, but I was so busy today that I couldn't do as many games as I planned on doing. So next update will be on Monday or maybe late Sunday. I will be going to Dallas and San Antonio and when I come back, it will be a playoff atmosphere because I only have 5 games left in the season. PCE

HORNETS VS. SUNS
America West, Phoenix, 7:00 p.m., PST

TV, radio: FSAZ; KTAR 620
Records: Hornets, 28-48; Suns, 60-17.
INJURY REPORT Phoenix- Joe Johnson (broken bone in wrist) out indefinitely

KEY MATCHUP: STEVE NASH VS. SPEEDY CLAXTON
Claxton's game was escaladed since being traded to New Orleans recieving the starting PG spot. He averages 12.3ppg and 5.9apg for the Hornets. He is very quick on the dribble and if there is anybody that can keep up with Nash, it would be Speedy.

INSIDE THE HORNETS
Phoenix continues to roll in the month of March and no team has stopped them yet. There are 8 games left in the month of April for Phoenix and 6 of those games are back-to-back which can cause some problems heading into the postseason. It can also increase injury chances and cause fatigue problems. Barbosa is now 100% healthy and will expect to get alot more action in tonight's game.

INSIDE THE SUNS
Phoenix picked up their 60th win of the season against the Lakers on Monday night in a 99-74 win. Phoenix still stands undefeated in the month of April and they will start their 4-game home stretch tonight.

Nash and the Suns still claim the best record in the league

PHOENIX, April 12 (Ticker) --The Suns were able to do anything in their power during tonight’s game. Whether it was scoring buckets, rebounding, assisting, steals, blocks or anything else. “Let’s just say we are getting ready for the playoffs,” Suns guard Quentin Richardson said. Richardson scored 25 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to assist the Suns in an easy 110-94 win over the New Orleans Hornets. “Q had one of his best overall games this season tonight,” Coach D’Antoni said. “Even though we didn’t really need that from him tonight, it was still great to see him shoot the ball well, while crashing the boards.” Richardson only played 30 minutes because he sat out for most of the 2nd half after the Suns took a commanding 23 point lead into halftime.

New Orleans was very cold from the field during the first half despite almost reaching the 50 point mark in the first half, they only shot 37% from the field. “They were trying to hang in there because we weren’t missing any shots,” Suns forward Shawn Marion said. “I was surprised how they almost ended up with a 100 points shooting a low percentage.” The Hornets rode their starters for most of the game trying to make some type of surge during the game to make the score look respectable. Jamaal Magloire led New Orleans with 25 points and 8 rebounds in 44 minutes of play. “If the bench can’t come in and produce in some way then they won’t play,” Hornets coach Byron Scott said after the game. “This is there time to shin since its coming down to the wire and they can’t automatically think they will be on the team next season.”

Hornets forward Glenn Robinson scored 22 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. He has been out several times this season because of injury and he has caught on to the Hornets system. “We are just in a rebuilding stage right now and hopefully we can get something done in the off-season,” Robinson stated. Phoenix was able to out rebound the Hornets 48-41 in the game and out assisted them 23-19. Phoenix remains undefeated in the month of April. If they win their last 4 games of the month, they will have their first undefeated month in franchise history. The teams remaining on their schedule are the Los Angeles Clippers, Sacramento Kings twice, and the Denver Nuggets.
