He's my lost twin, I tell you... How are his blocking abilities? If he's turnover prone, to boot, I'm adopting him.

Malfa wrote:niiiiiice coverage with the draft..im wondering if i should do an NLSC draft..

cheers....don't know if you should do an NLSC draft as everyone does them....it's up to you though....I just do them as I always include myself in dynasties & once I started adding draftees like Andrew Bogut & Marvin Williams, I thought why not add a few NLSC-ers too....

although, it is a lot of work, so beware....

what X says is true malfa, but the hard part is the making the CF's and stuff. the DBF's isnt too bad.
tell you the truth i spend more time wondering how i am gonna present what I have than dbf editing stuff.... or perhaps tahts just procrastanation.

I feel the same, I just wanna live!

yeah so anyways, X-ey, how many real draft prospects are you going to have in your draft and how many of them do you have cyberfaces for? I've only found cyberfaces for Rudy Gay and Ronnie Brewer...

that's true....the presentation & writing seem to take longer than the dbf part....going in & taking pics, etc, etc....but I think it's worth it :P

that is correct, but I've transported the cyberfaces from my live '05 dynasty for Adam Morrison, Shelden Williams, Mardy Collins, Andrea Bargnani, Rudy Fernandez, Tiago Splitter....those guys plus Gay and Brewer, plus Aldridge, Carney & Redick who I need to get c/face's for are the additions to the draft....

PLAYOFFS 1st ROUND RESULTS

Here are the results from the 1st Round of the playoffs....

WEST

(1) San Antonio defeats (8) Minnesota 2-0

Image

Pull out the broom as the Spurs rolled in this one as the T'wolves are bounced out quickly in the 1st Rd. Even Kevin Garnett's stellar play couldn't stop the Spurs' onslaught. Spurs are looking good for the title if this series is anything to go by.

San Antonio: T. Parker - 23.5ppg, 4.0rpg, 6.0apg, 3.00spg
Minnesota: K. Garnett - 21.0ppg, 16.0rpg, 7.5apg, 3.50spg, 1.50bpg

(4) Houston defeats (5) Dallas 2-0

Image

Think the Mavs have nightmares about Kobe? Add T-Mac to that equation as he dominated in both games to move the Rockets onto the 2nd Rd to face the Houston Rockets. The Mavs could have really used Steve Nash in this one as Jason Terry stunk it up at PG.

Houston: T. McGrady - 30.0ppg, 13.0rpg, 7.5apg
Dallas: J. Terry - 8.5ppg, 4.0apg, 2.00spg, 24.1% FG, 10.0% 3Pt

(6) Memphis defeats (3) Sacramento 2-1

Image

In what was one of the closer series out West, the teams split the 1st 2 games. Going into the 3rd & deciding game, the home court advantage should have helped the Kings close out the series. It didn't as the Grizzlies dominated at the Arco Arena to move onto the 2nd Rd for the 1st time in franchise history. Strong contributions from there whole squad helped them get through. They'll need more of that in the 2nd Rd to help the team move on even further.

Memphis: M. Miller - 26.7ppg, 4.3rpg, 1.67spg, 50.9% FG, 40.9% 3Pt
Sacramento: P. Stojakovic - 23.7ppg, 4.7rpg, 1.67spg, 49.0% FG, 48.0% 3Pt, 100% FT

(7) Golden State defeats (2) Denver 2-1

Image

Baron Davis was healthy. Carmelo Anthony was not. That was the decisive factor in this series as the Warriors outlasted the Nuggets in a tense deciding game to move on to face the Memphis Grizzlies, & with a great opportunity to advance further.

Golden State: B. Davis - 27.3ppg, 4.0rpg, 6.3apg, 2.67spg, 1.0TO/g, 50.9% FG, 40.0% 3Pt
Denver: C. Anthony - 2 games, 16.5min/g, 4.0ppg, 7.0rpg

EAST

(1) Detroit defeats (8) Charlotte 2-0

Image

The young Bobcats were merely fodder for the Pistons who were just looking at clearing any cobwebs before a more meaningful opponent. Give the Bobcats' credit though, they kept the last game of their season within single digits.

Detroit: C. Billups - 21.0ppg, 4.0rpg, 5.5apg, 5.00spg, 0.5TO/g, 44.4% 3Pt, 100.0% FT

(5) Philadelphia defeats (4) Cleveland 2-0

Image

Message to LBJ - you might have put up numbers, but your team choked AGAIN. And to the Sixers of all teams. Better luck next year Lebron. Sixers' reward is the tough Pistons which should prove a much tougher series than this one was.

Philadelphia: C. Webber - 20.5ppg, 12.0rpg, 6.5apg, 2.00bpg
Cleveland: L. James - 31.0ppg, 11.5rpg, 7.0apg, 0.5TO/g, 55.3% FG

(6) Atlanta defeats (3) Miami 2-1

Image

What did I say guys? The young Hawks had more fire in their bellies & won 2 games on the road to earn the prized Heat scalp. My main query would be why Shaq was never given the ball. He really could of helped in this series.

Atlanta: T. Lue - 19.7ppg,5.0apg, 42.9% 3Pt, 92.9% FT
Miami: S. O'Neal - 4.7ppg, 11.7rpg, 2.00bpg

(2) New Jersey defeats (7) Milwaukee 2-0

Image

No Vince Carter, no problem. No T.J. Ford, big problems. Nets got by the Bucks in 2 tough games. They were able to do this despite the huge play from Milwaukee's Michael Redd & rookie Aussie Andrew Bogut. For New Jersey, Kidd & Jefferson were superb as expected, but it was the 17.5ppg & 18.5ppg that Uncle Cliffy and Nenad Krstic gave them that made the difference when all was said and done. The Nets move on to face the upstart Atlanta Hawks.

New Jersey: R. Jefferson - 23.5ppg, 9.0rpg, 54.3% FG
Milwaukee: M. Redd - 37.0ppg, 5.5rpg, 62.2% FG, 60.0% 3Pt, 92.3% FT
Milwaukee: A. Bogut - 15.0ppg, 8.0rpg, 4.0apg, 2.50bpg, 2.00spg

PLAYOFF TREE (After Round 1)

Image

The 2nd Round is here with the Spurs from the West and the Pistons from the East once again appearring destined to meet again in the NBA Finals for the 2nd straight year.

X's 2nd ROUND PREDICTIONS:

Here are my 2nd Round predictions. Please click on a team's name to go to their current playoff roster.

WEST

(1) San Antonio defeats (4) Houston 2-1

T-Mac, Yao & the Rockets are looking good, but the Spurs are just too good. They'll advance in 3.

(7) Golden State defeats Memphis 2-1

Memphis have the tools to take this series, but with the way that Baron Davis is playing, I can't back against him. Therefore I've got the Warriors squeezing by the Grizz in 3 tough, high scoring games.

EAST

(1) Detroit defeats (5) Philadelphia 2-1

The Sixers will play the Pistons tougher than the Bobcats did and that might be able to steal 1 game. That's it though as the Pistons advance in 3 games.

(2) New Jersey defeats (6) Atlanta 2-1

Vince Carter is healthy again. Joe Johnson is not. Hawks played so great against the Heat, I'll give them 1 game by default. Nets should comfortably move on in 3.

Results for round 2 won't be up for a few days as will be tied up....Sunday is probably day they will be up....get your predictions in....

time for me to sleep....

The cards worked out well dude, Maybe for the cards where it says "late first round" you should put the "late first round" under "projection", just so it fits nicer. Im looking forward to seeing the cards for the Real Life Rookies (Y)
