damn man, the later you get into the season, the more injuries you get....
i'm finding out in my dynasty that as the season goes on (game 76 right now), my player's seem to be less effective, they are not as fast, don't just as high, and miss some easy shots, does the game do this? like deminish the stats of your players, like have the fatigue faster towards the end? cause that's how i'm seeing it right now.

yes, as i remeber i got 8 got injured in my past games.
Divac, Odom, Mihm, Bryant, Butler, Baker, Cook and Grant.

But i like it make the dynasty realistic, so next time i think you should also balance the playing time you gave esp those injury-prone and older player. so come playoff time they not to tired and less prone to injury.

by the way thanks for the comments.
i think 2 more update (7 games left) and my season ends.. its playoff time.

hm... 1 sad smiley, then 2, 3, 4 and now five... haha.. though its not that funny.. so who do you have who's worth anything
and i have this interesting problem, one of my guys got injured, and i decided to release zoran planic and sign a free agent who was the same position as the guy on my team who was injured, and it says i have a full roster though its 11. wtf?
and man, the thing about the fatigue thing... my oldest player is allen houston, and the average age on my team is like 23... its so weird. maybe i should just play my bench more

Sat Jan 29, 2005 8:38 am

Ouch, 4 players! Man that hurts. But it could happen.

I too can't wait for the second season! (Y)

it also happen to me. try re-signing the same player without re-loading your dynasty and he will sign with you.

yeah, i think we should used our bench more so they will be fresh come playoff time.

Micchy Sorry about skipping your 3quarter shout out. I had it about 3/4 done and my laptop shorted out...and then just now as I was about to re-do it...you posted more...

but here I go...

...from the annals of the 2005 Birdie Project: (info)
Micchy_boy's Los Angeles Lakers 3-quarter season Birdie Breakdown:

Image

Not since the days of Shaq-lore was there such an even one-two punch. Kobe Bryant barely grabs the team MVP honors from Lamar Odem clocking in with a weighted Birdie score of 22.75- and his 'reversible' Live Card is enabled.

'reversible Live Card preview':
Image

3-quarter season instances are always a bit skewed:
This Dynasty is currently ranked #14 on the 2005 Birdie Board.
(Micchy's ranking should go up by end of season, as the values of his traded players even out at the end...meaning his penalties should go down.)

For the complete 'Birdie Breakdown' AND to see Bryant's Two-Year reversible' Live Card click here.
(not to mention where Micchy_boy lives on a global map!)

Micchy_boy: Thanks for your patience in all this, I promise to post your end of season breakdown a lot sooner. ...hopefully, now with my laptop shot...production may go down here. I'm still in shock.

Sun Jan 30, 2005 8:16 am

Sun Jan 30, 2005 3:12 pm

Sacramento Kings @ Los Angeles Lakers

After those 3 straight losses, Lakers tried to bounce back on winning ways. They started the game very well and jumped to an early lead. They also put most of Kings’ starters into early foul trouble. They also got a good break when Bibby, the Kings starting point guard got injured 4 minutes left in the 1st period and Lakers holding a 10 point lead. The quarter ended with Lakers extended their lead to 15, 31-16. In the 2nd quarter things looked good for the Kings. Mobley, just like their last meeting, caught fire and scored all his 12 points in this quarter. Along with Stojakovic 8 points, kings cut Lakers lead to just 5 at halftime break.

Lakers made sure that Mobley will not torched them again put a great defensive plan against Mobley. With their defense, Mobley was held scoreless in the 3rd period. Without Mobley’s offense and still hobbled by foul trouble, Kings were outscored in this period and trailed again by 10 points. Kings then tried one last run in the last canto. They have the momentum but when they key players fouled out, things got worse for the Kings. Lakers snapped their losing skid. With that win Lakers move to no.6 with Rockets behind by 1 game.

Mavs still trailed in the 2nd period with only Josh Howard putting good numbers. Odom and Mihm led the Lakers in this quarter and extended their lead to 15 at halftime.

But in the 3rd period, Lakers gone cold coming from the locker room, shooting 31% in the field and only scored 13 points. Mavs took advantage of this as they scored 22 points and cut the deficit to only 6 points, 72-66. Mavs with momentum on their side going in the last period, continued with their incredible shooting. Lakers somehow recovered from their shooting woes but played on of their bad defense. They allowed the Mavs 36 points in 76.5% shooting. Despite the loss, Lakers still in 6th place. On the other hand, Mavs put them just 1 game behind the Spurs for the division leader.

With Warriors already out of playoff contention, Lakers took the game lightly. They were surprised to see the Warriors played aggressively in this game. Richardson, Claxton and Dunleavy led the Warriors and they lead by 5, 28-23. Lakers then put played serious ballgame but the Warriors were already got their games going. They extended the lead to 10 at halftime.

Odom and Bryant tried to lead a Lakers comeback in the 3rd period but still the Warriors seems got all the answers to Lakers run. J-rich led his team in protecting their lead. After 3 quarters, they still held a 9 point lead. Bryant then took over in the 4th period. Along with Atkins, they put the Lakers within manageable deficit. They successfully tied the score at 98-all as time expired.

In the overtime, Odom and Bryant showed they still have the energy despite playing catch up most of the game. They enjoyed their 1st lead of the game and they didn’t let it slip away. They outscored the Warriors 22-17 in the overtime for a win. With this win, Lakers clinched a playoff spot and have a chance to move from their current 6th spot to 5th spot.

Lakers entering this game with lots of things in their mind. A win couple by Nuggets loss will give them the no. 5 spot. While a loss and a Rockets win will put them down to 7 spot. This game also will give the Blazers a slight chance for the 8th spot.

Game was pretty close early in the game. But with just 2 minutes after tip-off, Derek Anderson got injured. Lakers took advantage of this with Odom leading the Lakers for a 4 point lead after 1 quarter. Odom continued his great play, not just scoring but also rebounding. Darius Miles, on the other hand, led the Blazers setting up teammates with his passing. Lakers still led by 3 49-46 at halftime.

Lakers caught fire in the 3rd period, they only missed 4 shots and were perfect from the 3-point area. Lakers shot 14 of 18 from the field including 5 of 5 from the downtown. Odom notched his first triple double late in this quarter. Lakers outscored the Blazer, 37-19 in this period and now led 86-65. Lakers already assured them of a win and tried to experiment different play in the last period. Bryant almost missed a triple double performance but was able to get it with less than 10 seconds left when he grabbed his 10 rebounds. Odom finished the game with 30 points, 14 rebounds and 11 assists while Bryant tallied 32 points, 10 rebounds and 1 assists.

been busy lately....
i played those game about 2 or 3 days ago but only got this time to make the recap and other stuff...

i tried to finished all my work so i can start playing again..
playoff will begin soon and my 1st round opponent will be....
well maybe later you will know, all match-ups will be great though some good teams never made the playoffs..

also i got 15 NLSC Ballers and will add 20 real rookie prospects like taft and others....

i will starting dbf editing it while the playoffs going on so that if i finished the playoff it wont take time to go to off-season..

to all NLSC ballers i try to put your on your prefer team but if not i think it would be okey... at least you'll be in a lottery team which means more playing time and fast development in your career. and you can demand trade ala SHAQ. :D

honorglow, if i got time i'l send my 4th pstats and hope my penalties will not be that high

Wed Feb 02, 2005 5:53 am

yeah man i personally don't care which team i am on. so i don't HAVE to be on the kings. as of today they are not my top choice, so i will just take whatever team drafts me

and great job, i finally just got trough my season as well and it was tough. i was so relieved. looking foward the playoffs, it should be good and tough i suppose
