I like Manu better in Live. He doesn't flop like a little bitch.
Nice win. Monta was pretty good this game. Good luck against Clutch's Rockets.

The last two pictures in the articles look exactly the same :D

Man, Lloyd is smoking hot these last games. Solid effort from Ellis with 17-5-6.

Hope Lloyd keeps it up against the Rockets!

Ginobili flops? When a 250lbs guy slams into you do you not expect to be thrown 10 metres?

Well... Celtica: people is jealous of Manu, and when someone is that great they use to criticize him. :D hah just kidding. but i think flopping is part of the game. he is just trying to get an offensive foul or whatever. i mean... fairplay? wth is it? nobody respect it. i think it doesnt exists anymore  .everybody wants to win...
haha
Anywayy, love this dinasty with Manu playing so well in every decisive moment (Y)

More Decisions

The team was on a role. Winning 7 in a row, their longest streak of the season, the LA Clippers were back in business. All Fayer could was smile as he watched his team on his team wrap up their road trip having won 4 in a row. When they returned home Fayer clapped and cheered along with the rest of the fans as the team escaped with 3 close victories. Fayer was no getting daily text messages from Sterling that said things like

or

Still, there was more work to be done. With rookie Dylan Lloyd emerging as a superstar, Marvin Williams minutes were decreasing. So were his stats. Williams' discontent was visible in his play on the court, as he often looked to shoot rather than pass and he did not seem to be as happy as his teammates when LLoyd scored a basket. As Fayer was day dreaming his cellphone rang.

"Hello?"
"Its Dunleavy"
"Oh hey, what's up? Feeling pretty good I imagine right?"
"Haha yeah, I guess you could say that."
"You don't seem as relaxed as I am. I mean we're on a roll right now."
"A Coach never has time to ease up, its part of my job," Dunleavy responded with a chuckle.
"Right... Anyways what can I do for ya?"
"I was thinking.. well you might not be crazy for this, but I was thinking that we should maybe start looking to move Marvin."
"Actually, I couldn't agree more with you-"
"Wait really?"
"Yeah, his play has really gone down the last few game.."
"I don't know if you've heard, but he's becoming a bit unpopular with the rest of the players. His negative attitude is bringing everyone down."
"Oh woah, no way. He seems so quiet, never would have imagined he would cause such distress."
"Well I say you explore any trade options, preferably for a power forward/center that rebounded well. We don't really need scoring that badly, we have plenty of that."
"Allright, I'll look into it but I can't make any promises."
"Thanks Jim."
"Keep on winning Coach," Fayer said as he hung up.

Fayer leaned back in his plushy leather chair. The warm LA sunshine beat down upon his desk. Who would take on Marvin? He was an athletic forward, who had an expiring contract, was the former #2 overall pick, and had averaged over 16 points per game last season. Fayer folded his arms across his chest. Hmm.. coach had asked for another power forward who was known for rebounding and wouldn't necessarily focus on scoring. One name came to mind.

"New York Knicks, this is Jan"
"Hey Jan, listen could you put me through to Mr. Walsh please?"
"Sure, may I ask who's calling?"
"Its Jim Fayer, from the Clippers."
"One moment please."

"Donnie, how are you?"
"I've been better, how about you?" Walsh replied politely.
"Listen Don, I think I got a trade that could work out for both of us."
"I'm all ears, we definitely need some help over here."
"Would you be willing to give up David Lee plus a first rounder for Marvin Williams?"
"Are you kidding me? No way!"
"Its not as crazy as you think. David you know is going to ask for a big extension, and you guys can't lose him for nothing."
"So? Williams also has an expiring contract, we'd have to resign him too."
"But Marvin isn't a fan favorite yet in New York, you guys will have more leverage with him than you'll have with David."
"Yea but still..."
"Plus you guys have a logjam of big men, with Zach Randolph, Nate Keates, Eddy Curry and David its hard to give them all fair minutes. Marvin can also play the 3.."
"Marvin did average about 16 points and 7 rebounds with Atlanta last season playing the 3....." Walsh wondered out loud.
"David's only averaging 6 points and 7 rebounds in a starting role too. You guys are paying Zach Randolph to be a very expensive backup. You guys should let him play, that fight with Curry was a long time ago, he deserves it. With David gone he'll finally have a chance to shine."
"I still don't know....."
"C'mon you don't think this is going to help? Fine, you know what? We have a couple days before our next game, I'll let you mull it over."
"Allright, well thanks Jim."
"Take it easy Donnie."

A day later, Jim's cellphone rang:

"Hello?"
"Jim? It's Donnie.
"Oh hey Donnie how are ya?"
"Listen, I don't got much time to chit-chat, but I'll accept your deal if you throw in a future first rounder in 2010,"
"Well, allright, I guess that's fair."
"Got to go, take care Jim."
"Bye Donnie," Jim said as he hung up.

Awesome turn of events, Marvin for Lee? A great trade I reckon. I am really impressed the way you set it all up by the way, with the conversations etc.

Lee should be able help with both rebounding and points, so its a great trade.

P.S Well, Sanguango, Ginobili is my third favourite player, after Tim Duncan and Tony Parker. Go Spurs!

P.S.S I think the Spurs are due this year!

Actually, a pretty fair trade for both sides. I had a feeling you were gonna trade Marvin, since he's really sucked lately. Hopefully, Lee works out for you!

Well i don't really know David lee and Marvin was a 3rd pick but I hope you made a good decision.
In either case it looke like Lloyd will take control of the starting position so it's smart to have a def player be he's backup.

keep it up :)

Good job from my opinion as well. Marvin Williams was practically the only one I didn't like on the team.

Celtica, yeah I think it'll help me a lot too. Thanks! Also why does your username seem to be more of a reference to the Celtics than to the spurs? :)

Skillimatic, Haha good prediction then. Yeah Lee is rated only a 67 and Williams is a 74 so go figure..

Papa Jack, haha yeah I remember ya, where'd you go? Good luck with your new dynasty!

Sanguago, the trade is done, so be glad that Williams is gone. Haha

Avivb9, Actually Williams was the 2nd pick overall, but really you don't know David Lee? He's the 6th man for the Knicks, probably the most popular Knick player too.

Oskar, Thanks man for checking in, and glad to see you enjoyed it!

Wizards game coming up!

Great win, I was surprised David Lee played so well in his first game. Really efficent work by Mobley, which is good.

Here is my prediction of what will happen during the Clippers-Rockets game:

Well... thats a good question! Celtica has been my username forever, in games, online etc. I had been using it before I ever followed the NBA, or knew who the Celtics were. Go figure!

Dominance now. Looks like your record will be eclipsing my Hawks' now. Great win over the top team in the league. Looks like it will be ten after you beat Seattle.

Manu hits a lot of 3's in your dynasty. Is he as much of a three-point gunner in real life?

Yeah, lamrock, Manu is that good! Maybe not 7 every night, but you can count on him for 3-4 usually.

Anyway, great win! Good on T-Mac getting 50 points but he definately needed some assistance. No wonder Lloyd dominated, he was playing against a SF in the post (see the boxscore!).

BTW Are you happy with Josh Smith's poduction lately? Tell us what you think about his points, rebounds etc. where hes at and where you would like him to be at.
